hi everyone,
i bought an lg g3 d855 16 gb in italy. the phone is under TIM network so it has a lot of garbage application that i don't want on my phone.
how can i delete those application? can i do it just by doing root to the phone or do i need to do any further stuff like getting new rom?
if i need to get a new rom, how do i do it?

i read the faq but i can't understand if i need to root it (already did) and then getting new ROM on it or there is a way to it without getting a new ROM?

If you have root install some app that will freeze/delete preinstalled app. Titanium backup can do that.

I'm trying to do it with titanium backup but it fails to find the apk files of those apps. is there anything else you can think of?

I rooted my htc desire 816g with Vroot and it was working fine. But I updated my phone with System Update in settings , and after that superuser doesnt permit any apps , when I checked with root cheker it says Im not rooted.
I tried to reroot with Vroot and it fails .
How to fix this problem?

Never take an OTA after rooting...
If you tried rooting again using the same method, that means the OTA you took broke that root method...possibly on purpose.

Look for a different root method.
I don't have the 816G so I couldn't tell you sorry man.

Someone could possibly help you of they knew which version you were on before. This way, you don't do more damage.

well I'm not sure, my backup file ends with ZVE
I can see if I can tot back to zve this late evening.. And try to do a backup.
Can you get into download mode to tot.

Congrats, I guess now you gotta make a new account Since you are using Ubuntu OS on your PC, you can always configure WINE on it to run windows applications, which should help your rooting adventure.

If you update you will lose Root and also TWRT.
So don't update.(only if you are at stock)

In dev opt, i unlock oem. I tried in ADB "reboot bootloader", dont work, phone restarts like when you use from power menue "restart".
I tried in adb to make backup, when send comand, on phone was no info about confirm, nothing happened.
I tried a lg bridge, only get "no errors found" "no new upgrades", so i dont know how to do it.
Maybe do something wrong, i dont know. Maybe someone has some ideas and he could guide me?

No chance for root, cant get firmware file. Dont know how to do it.
I tried use adb backup, get in commwin now unlock your device and confirm the backup operation. On lg is nothing show up.
Tried as Y wrote, adb pull, only download apk files, system files "skipping special file....."
so i dont know what to do.

I appreciate your efforts! You have to wait for the root because it's a new phone. Download Kingroot or Kingoroot and keep trying!
