you just need to extract system.img and after complete to extract that file. try to mount that .img file with daemon tools or other tools that can mount that .img file and after successfully mounted you can copy all system files for your xperia m bro

My bootloader is screwd.
My phone is rocgnized as a QHSUSB_DLOAD device. :/ flashtool is useless in this case.

Well if you have a really bad case of brick you will have to replace the motherboard.
I just suggest taking it to a service center and acting dumb. There are some fixing methods that arent 100% working and they come with a lot of risk.
Good luck.

If the bootloader is unlocked your warranty is void. And yes they will replace the motherboard. The cost is unknown to me sadly.

how do i flash without cwm?
you don't flash stock firmware with CWM any way.
Suggest you read some of the threads here.
You will need flashtool and the stock ftf file for r800x , or you could use Sony ericsson suite thingy.

Sorry, it looks like it's not gonna be possible at this point.
If I undersatnd correctly I need to use Sony PC Companion to download the firmware. Problem is PC Companion refuse to connect to the tablet.
When I connect it, it says "PC Companion needs to be updated". I'm running the last version (2.1).
I can only wait for Sony to release an update.
How does it feel to own one. Does it feel good?

it feels very good, got my z2 today, came from TF201 and it is so much light weighted
but even this firmware doesnt have new media apps which are shown in z2 videos....!!!

For unlocked bootloader;Even though most recoveries are based on cwm , custom ones like philz and twrp has a better GUI and function.
I was thinking about building twrp/philz
I'm not seeing any talk, reference, rumor or even crying over a locked bootloader exploit for the Z2T. Is there something special about it (I know all Xperia's are harder than the average android) or is there just not enough demand? I rooted my Z1C and am pretty happy with the Sony skin as long as it's rooted, but the unrooted skin on my Z2T is pretty hard to live with. Don't want to unlock the bootloader, but may have to...

For the command "dd" you'll have to navigate it to your boot partition which can be found by analysing the files partition, mounts which is present in /proc
Use that and give me the boot.img I'll make a recovery

Your bootloader is unlocked. Put the phone into Factbook mode by using the menu when the phone first turns on. Download and Install this to your pc: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24521665358595410 (its drivers and stuff). Then download twrp: https://s.basketbuild.com/devs/dianl.../oneplus3/TWRP
Save the img file somewhere and plug your phone into your pc in fastboot mode. Open minimal adb fastboot from earlier and type: fastboot flash recovery PATHTOIMGFILE
Where path to img file could be c:\users\dave\desktop\twrp.img

Let me know if you manage it. Should be simple enough
You should use Grarak's TWRP. It's much more compatible with various ROMs.

We'll have that option when someone gets official build status. Efs backup is something you take for granted until you have an issue.

@MUDASSIR MOHAMMED
I need more info. Which firmware did you flash (stock (which version?) / CM11/12/13)? In most cases you can reflash the phone using Flashtool. If you were flashing using flashtool you might have a corrupted .ftf file.

He says he ended up in a bootloop. This does not mean that his phone is dead or that he will need SETool. Now he just said "bootloop." We don't know which "bootloop" (kernel/OS). It is most likely the OS bootloop which can be simply fixed by reflashing.
