Use touch interface with a mouse - Windows 8 Development and Hacking

is there any way of using the mouse to simulate touch across windows 8.1?
i find the touch behavior to be way more fluid than the mouse behavior of windows and would like to be able to make widows think my clicks and drags are touch events.
(possibly even having right click as a single touch pinch to zoom).
all full screen apps and the start screen just screams "drag scroll me!" and it never works when i try ^^
when you connect a mouse to an android device you can touch with clicks and i'd like that to work in windows too.
besides i'm pretty sure some devs would love to use it for debugging^^

since a few days it works for Hermes (just tested it) and soon we will have it also for Trinity, just be patient.

nop, ir rotates with the "pen", if you make a movment to rigth or left...
You are confused!
TouchFlo is not just a "pretty" three sided cube activated with a finger swipe (not a button)...
TouchFlo is more than that. The coolest thing about TouchFlo is the ability to scroll up, down, left and right (even diagonals) with just the finger and the system is able to detect actions upon touch (scroll action and select action).
The Trinity is not capable to detect TouchFlo (not the cube but the scroll part of it). Period!
Cheers!

[Q] Dual touch pads for browser navigation?

apologies if this has already been asked. I remember earlier android handsets that had little track balls just beneath the screen with which you could move a little mouse cursor when surfing the internet to give you better control over highlighting etc. they've since gone our of vogue but it was a feature that came in handy from time to time. with that in mind. I'm surprised that the xperia play doesn't have an option to use the dual touch pads for browsing when in landscape: we know from Sony that the entire middle area is touch sensitive so theoretically it could be used similar to a mouse touch pad on a laptop, or the left pad could move a cursor and the right could scroll around the web page, or ideally you could toggle between both. given the pre existing trackball/cursor code in android would it be feasible to use them in this way?
I wanted this for so long but seems like no one cares a fuc*. Also one option to be added, pinch to zoom for zooming.
I always thought the little 'cleavage' area between the man nipples was a mini touchpad. That would be perfect for up and down scrolling

[Q] VNC-like app, where the cursor jumps to any place I tap?

Hope I can make this clearer... every VNC app I've tried handles the touch screen in a very awkward way - I must tap and drag my finger to make the mouse cursor on my windows PC move.
On my old WM phone, I could simply tap any area of my desktop, and the mouse cursor teleports directly to that tapped area (and simultaneously executes a single click). So if I want to close a window, I simply tap the "X" at the top right.
The apps I've found for KF don't do this. Instead I must carefully, slowly drag the mouse arrow to the X, release, then tap again to close the window. Every little task takes forever this way.
Does anyone know of a remote-control app that supports just tapping the screen (as if my home PC windows 7 were being operated on a touchscreen tablet)?
If anyone else is looking for something like this... a quick update.
What I'm looking for I guess is just referred to as "direct input".
The app "AndroidVNC" has this, and so is much easier to use than the others. It supports all the usual stuff though scaling the window to smaller than 1:1 is a little clunky. It uses double tap to access right click, which makes actual double clicking a mystery, but I find I can get most tasks done anyway.
I had emailed RealVNC... I've always liked them because they have an awesome feature for PC versions: you can ctrl+C to copy something (on either computer) and then ctrl+V on the other PC. This "copy-and-pastes" to transfer files over the internet, or to just copy/paste plain text from one PC to the other.
They wrote back and said others had asked for direct input and it's on their list of things to do. But no idea if and when it will be implemented.
Splashtop Remote should do all that you want. It definitely does the direct input (cursor moves directly to the touched area) and simply holding your finger down for a split second longer is like a right-click.

Agreed, I like splashtop. Got it free a while back on the amazon app of the day, and like it much better than logmein.

Chrome remote desktop touch issue

Anyone use chrome remote desktop? I can't get the touch to work on it. Aka using your finger to touch where you want the mouse to click. Instead of the cursor option.
Mine is working fine in both mouse modes, finger scrolling and tap to click

How to allow simultaneous finger and S-Pen touch input?

I want to use both my finger and my S-Pen at the same time to touch the screen with for games and emulators. Main example being Drastic, a DS emulator, so I can use the on-screen D-Pad at the same time as using the emulated touchscreen with the S-Pen. This way I can still see what is happening on the bottom screen without my index finger in the way.
How do I do this? Is there a hidden setting that can be changed with ADB? Or is this something that I would need root for?
