Hi! I'm also interested in a good matte screen protector, but til now I only bought reeeeeally cheap protectors on ebay..these are not well cut, but they do the job...
I think the question is, which one of these matte protectors will cause the least distortion/pixelation?
SGP use to have a matte protector called the "Ultra optics" which basically guaranteed 99% clarity. Does anything like that still exist?
I think most of them are just repackaged chinese BS, so you should buy cheapest pack of 10 and change them every 2-3 weeks if they get scratched
I'm using the Anker. Pretty happy with it so far. There's very little graininess/distortion, certainly not enough that it bothers me. There's always going to be a little graininess with any matte protector, but this one seems quite reasonable.

Did you find any difference between the Anker and cheap ebay stuff?

This is the only one I've tried. Still happy with it.
MediaDevil, they're a little pricey but that one is a good protector.
Still grainy but the grain on that protector aren't that visible to me.
I'M using miniguard and feels amazing. Also screen quality not changed at all.

The cheap eBay Bumper case I posted about on another board arrived today and it looks quite good until you pick it up and notice how thin and light it is which kind of goes hand in hand with it's massively small £3 price. It does the job fine on a S2 with the stock battery though but with extended battery the lip surrounding the front bezel is less pronounced.
It is not great with the Zenis dock either as it doesn't sit flush whereas the Zenis one does. I was expecting it to fit fine but the bottom is not sitting nicely like the Walnutt bumper does.
So far I think the Walnutt case looks the best and also feels like it's worth some ££ too. I especially like the lip bearing the Walnutt brand name on the back, it kind of completes an otherwise baron backside, something that the SGP NeoHybrid EX bumper lacks although I'm sure the SGP feels every bit as good and expensive as the Walnutt ones.
Considering the Walnutt bumper is thicker than the cheap eBay one I was surprised it was exactly the same thickness when put on the phone, I put it on my dad's S2 with stock battery to compare in the pics below.

Wow 10 pounds for shipping to Spain! What a RIP OFF. I'll write the seller and see what he says. I doubt though that he'll change the price. I've had books and computer parts delivered for less!

I don't use screen protectors
Hi guys,
I'm looking for a good matte screen protector for my I9100 international. The one that I bought from eBay has great touch feeling to it, but the screen has small deviations of color, especially on a white background. Here's a screenshot:

The superior touch feeling makes me keep it despite this flaw, but surely there's a better, more clear one out there.
Can you point me at the right direction?
Thanks!
Marcel
EDIT: sorry if I named the topic wrong (ie. without the [q]). Can't find how to edit it!
Sadly this is the way it is.
I have never seen any matte screen protectors not behaving exactly like this
But if someone finds one which does not degrade the screen quality, I will buy that immediately!
I am tempted to try either the Belkin or 3M matte screens but the price is crazy $30+ for one, not even a box of two or three.
This would be really nice to find, I agree!
I do like these matte screens and the feel on your finger is very reassuring.
3M Vikuiti, ADQC27
I really like the 3M Vikuiti, ADQC27.
Antireflective and almost invisible. Not the cheapest, but so far the best screen protectors I found.
For me, the best screen protector is Steinheil Ultra Crystal by SGP

I'm pretty sure that isn't a matte screen protector, which is what the OP is asking about.

Yeah, the 3M Vikuiti isn't exactly matte either. It has "anti-reflective coating" whatever this means. Looks shiny in the videos posted on youtube.
I guess one cannot have the best of all worlds and we have to just live with some reflections every now and then...
Indeed, the Vikuiti is not matte -- but the antireflective property is really good and the bling is less. There are still reflections (even high quality museum grade glass has some) - but compared with other protectors it is greatly reduced.
My wife decided to toss out hers (also 3M Vikuiti, but not the antireflective, but the DQC160) because the difference is so significant.
SGP Ultra Optics. I compared it to my friends el cheapo protector, and it is much clearer, the colour and whatnot on my screen looked close to the phone without the protector on.
Try Powersupport's Anti-Glare, it's pretty good as well, comes in a pack of 2.

i got the the 3m version and it's quite the same as all the rest. haven't seen a better solution either
You could try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1233748&highlight=3m
Vakuiti anti-glare mentioned before is really good compared to others ,I could only find overseas sellers worth the wait though after trying 5 others.
Have you tried from sgp store?
Hi guys what would you recommend?
Ive heard good things about XO where there not much orange peel.
But I want to know if there are other good products.
What the good thing I heard about sgp flex is that there's 2.
Also is there much orange peel on the sgp?
Could you also post pics?

I slapped a SGP flex on my nexus on day 1, and after a bad first install, have been happy with it ever since (comes 2 per purchase).
There is a minor peel effect, it doesn't bug me in the slightest personally. Never visible at all with screen on, and feels perfectly smooth. Clarity is very good as well.
I took a few pics trying to show the peel, with very limited success on camera.

The peel you're talking about, is the at the bottom or the top?
Because when it peels at the top Its gonna annoy me and im gonna start peeling it off.

If you mean by peel the edges peeling, there isn't any at all. The orange peel thing where it looks a bit odd in certain angles of light with screen off..pretty uniformly covers the entire protector. But I can't feel it's presence, or rather, you can't after a few days after application and settling.
Hi guys,
Can you recommend good quality screen protector? Any good brand?
I looked but I don't think I want one. I'm a fan of glass and I don't see that happening for the watch.
I got a set of 6 EZGuardz screen protectors on EBay for less than $3. It fits right to the edge of the glass perfectly and is 100% invisible. I can feel a slight difference when swiping. It's just a tiny bit less slippery feeling. But the peace of mind knowing that I'm not gonna accidentally scratch the screen is well worth it.

I bought a set as well
I bought some Skinomi MatteSkin protectors that fit well enough, but I thought they made the screen look too fuzzy. I usually like matte finish anti-glare screen protectors, but I didn't like these particular ones on this watch. I'm going naked for now.
I ordered a set of two from XtremeGuard's website. They have a promotion going on where you can get 91% off using the promo code Christmas91 and purchasing three items. Should get it in the next few days. Will report back.
I bought the Skinomi TechSkins (the kind that you have to spray before applying) and I am happy with it. It has a lifetime guarantee (or so they say) but I have 6 of em so I doubt I'll ever need to take them up on that. It had a few bubbles for the first day or two but those started to face and now it isn't even noticeable. I can feel a slight change in the ability to slide my finger on it, but i'm comfortable with it.
Received my XtremeGuard protector (ordered 2, but only received one). Applied just like their other protectors, which was very easy. Looks good and no issues whatsoever. Not bad for the price either considering it was 91% off.

recommend me some good skin protector those i can use for my watch.
When I ordered my Pixel 4, I ordered a few various screen protectors and cases to have ready when it arrived. I'm very happy to report that the first one I tried out has turned out so well that I just threw all the other cases/protectors in a drawer to collect dust.
Amazon Link ($7.99)
I installed the case first to use as a guide to install the protector and the end result is the most perfect protector install I've done on any phone, with perfect alignment and no dust trapped underneath. There is no "halo" line to be seen where the clear part of the protector meets the black border around the edges, either. I was quite worried about that.
I initially intended to use this protector (or another one) with a Spigen TPU case, but the case that comes with this protector is so good (with a slim snug fit and perfectly tactile button feel) that I have no desire to remove it. I love the combo so much that I decided to order another one to have as a spare in case they ever disappear from Amazon.
Anyway, I just wanted to share this with others who may be looking for full coverage protectors. Here are a few pics I took. Any dust seen is on top of the protector. Living in a brand new house, it's impossible to escape, unfortunately.

Does the screen protector adhere well on the edges? Or does it rise up?

Sorry for the delay. The edges adhere with no issues. I haven't had any lifting at all. It's still perfect.
Full coverage protectors always seem to chop off a bit of the display. Usually noticeable in apps that have objects near the edges. How does this one fare?

I disagree. I have installed many screen protectors and this one does not confirm to the curved edges of the screen. The case is excellent though.
I bought it just today, waiting for it to arrive to me in Italy (about 10 days). From the photos I can see that they are a winning combination!
