The htc is blocked to all network
My quiery is : what can i do to unblock it if it is possible
Can it be rooted if possible
Am all new to this wesite, i have done alot of reading but am still clueless
Can some one please direct me in the right path

I think you need to get micro sd adapter than you put the zip file in through yr laptop
Cmd. On wondows u press run then type the commands

Hi everyone,,, my problem in short is:
my sister got a new Desire HD Ace and I was trying to downgrade it for two days now with no luck,
The soft info is:
Android 2.2
Build number 1.83.415.4 CL327244
I looked for a shipped roms.com but found no rom with .415.4 so none are compatible with my current rom, also none of the method worked to root the device, ENG s off or radio or Gold card give me CID error etc,, anyhelp to downgrade the device is thanked!!!!

Are you sure you have HTC sense and the Android SDK installed properly on your computer? Apart from that I can offer no more help, sorry.
hey,, yah all are working, I already have another Desire HD rooted and ENG s OFFed before on same pc. its just this mobile has a build of Android that Visionary and z4root cant temp root yet, so i cant radio s off or eng s of it to flash custom roms, so i need help! thx

Stock Desire HD with Build 1.8x cannot be temp rooted.
You'll have to downgrade the build.
Try using the Goldcard method again.

Hey friend, Ive been at this for 2 days, tried the gold card with two MMCs 8 gb and 2 gb still give me CID error even after i do all the steps found online. but ill try again hopfully it will work, thx

I recommend at Step 7, do not mount your SD card using a card reader.
Slot the card back to your DesireHD and connect it to ur PC in 'Disk Drive' mode.
And proceed from there. Give it a try.

Ok!!!
I just managed to do the Gold Card method from the link you gave me, but with one little difference, I didn't use Gold card Tools, because It didn't give me MMC2 CID, so i googled and found a program called Rev Skills and gave me the real CID of the MMC2(memory card) and then reversed it and i used that CID to make the gold card, and now i\m flashing the 1.32 RUU from SD with no problem! thanks man owe u bunch!

slow boot desire HD after downgrade
I do all S-off and Eng S-off and flash the new radio and all and
in the end still power slow it start boot after 8 min and vabirate 2 min and after boot

You have a newer Desire HD, there is an issue with your downgraded HBOOT (ENG S-OFF) & your newer hardware.

This will solve your boot up times.

so DHD is reboot immediately reboot htc logo stuck and lame and power off
so i m enter recovery (CWR) updated custom rom (CoreDroid rom)
then its fixed

I am having the same problem, but there is no San Root device
Please help
Experimented with the previous methods did not solve the problem
When work was re-watered and operating mobile delete Rottweiler
desire HD

I have read all your post and replies. This is not any other post, m posting this after going for hours through your forum.
I have tried the new HTC Any root method, doesnt work. I rooted htc incredible s it rooted it, but with wildfire s it give error of out of memory. i made a space of 93mb in system memory, but still didnt work.
I have tried to update bootloader from HTC dev site, but my software version is 2.26.401.3, and no ROMs are yet available for this.
I have specifically searched wildfire s forum and have tried all the rooting methods but failed.
I have also tried the specific blog for htc wild fire s method but failed.
Kindly advise one method for which i can root htc wildfire s with above specifications.
Or can it be rooted at all?
I shall be very thankful.

Hi Ali well I rooted my wfs yesterday. Here's what I did.
1. Get ur bootloader unlocked from htcdev (just register and start following the steps, *Skip the RUU step*)
2. Restart ur wfs in hboot (by pressing power button and volume down)
3. Select fastboot and enter the cmd instructions.
4. Copy and paste the string and send it to htcdev for ur unlock key.
5. Follow the remaining steps to unlock the bootloader.
6. If. Your device is S-Off then go ahead with the root if it's S-ON then use the universal exploit and make sure that u have the original SD card inserted when using the universal exploit.

Don't uninstall the above:
1 - it didnt work for me (Wildfire S, euro version)
2 - it installs a lot of junk software (toolbars, IM icon packs etc) that took me half an hour to uninstall.

Yoy asked to skip RUU step but htcdev.com says that it is required.please help me what should I do?

I cant remember much now. It was a tool from buzzdowngrade and a playstore app called Gold Card Helper that helped me.

Is there no hope of the site that generates gold cards ever coming back ? that would be a shame, I have two A3333 HTC wildfire phones HBOOT 1.01.0002 one on virgin branded s/ware the other on Vodafone they are both unlocked for any carrier, as they are no longer on a contract I was hoping to de-brand the phones so was going to use this : [Full Guide] All in one - De-branding, rooting and flashing for all HBOOT versions: on this site but soon found out that the Gold card site is no more as of march this year is there no way to get these gold cards any more ? . can I post my CID here for someone to generate one for me so as to follow the rest of the guide mentioned above.

Post your cid numbers and i will make them for you
follow me plz
1-first of all you need to download an app called "gold card helper" from the market
2-run the app to get the cid of your sd card
3-that cid is the reversed cid
4-use this link to create your gold card with your reversed cid

5-connect your phone as storage
6-use this program (gold card tool) on your pc
6-choose your sd card
7-patch your mmc (your sd card)
8-you are done
