Silky smooth ROM.
Awesome. Thank again Shelnutt!
@Shelnutt2
Banks gapps have been inactive for awhile. PA GApps took over for him and has packages that are very similar now. I always use the micro modular package and it's perfect.
(They have specific 5.0 lollipop apps too)

Awesome job on the ROM Shelutt. Been sporting the nightlies sense they've been available for download. Anyone else on 20150118 having issues with radio?
Been kinda hanging back with the last nightly of [GEE/B] UNOFFICIAL CyanogenMOD 11 seeing how CM12 is shaping up. 11's been good to me so far.
Has this build put in a GEE base for us? I've noticed CM (at least 11 anyway) much smoother w/ a GEE base, or is it really not needed in Lollipop?
Thanks for your work, I wouldn't be enjoying any of these builds w/o your dedication.
Keeping this phone alive is saving me tons of money by taking my butt to Ting vs being a slave to the man (contracts).
I'm not getting network on the latest Nightly.

I am. I think it has to do with the new sim commit added. But then again, I don't know.
Anyone tried the 19th Jan build?
I just updated to the 19th build and network is working fine for me now. Amazing job!

... What doesn't work about it?
Will it flash in recovery?
You get force closes on boot until you reset?
You have to be a little more specific.
Also, are you using the 5.0 GApps? I linked it on the last page. I use the Micro Modular Package and have NEVER had a problem. The 5.0.x PA GApps is here. 4th package from the bottom of the first post.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/par...apps-official-to-date-pa-google-apps-t2943900
Sorry I know better....lol....but yes i was getting constant force closures with the google apps? which nightly are you using that worked.

Same problem here, tried all versions on gApps and I still receive FCs on boot
tell me how am i suppose to flash just for clarification,
wipe dalvik, system, and cache right and then flash the rom
wipe dalvik and cache then flash gapps
is that correct?

I wipe dalvik and cache after flashing gapps, but other than that it sounds right.
Full wipe, System, data I think I just realized something... Are you wiping data as well? Because if not, you are using data from another rom.
About your other question, I have used them all. Seriously, I have tried every Lollipop rom I can find. And I have flashed a few different nightlies of each.
Is only me or can't change the keyboard, it FCs every time.

Good to know, I hadn't tried the att build nor looked into it's issues. I'll see about getting a logcat and trying to dive into it once i get home today.

Also does your build include the LTE tethering script i sent to Pauli?

Is there any other kernels that will work for this? It would be nice to have under volting support. Also to note mhl is works for a bit, but its almost like the phone still locks when connected and then it only displays out a black screen.

That's also something new, I have seen my wifi go to Authenticating then just say saved and not connect. I either long press on it and choose connect or turn my wifi off then back on and it connects.
I don't have data on my phone so I rely heavily on wifi. Seems it has only happened when I'm originally connecting to my home wifi, reconnects without issue when I get home from work everyday. At work, it connected without issue and has each time since automatically. Seemed, from my experience, to only have an issue connect the first time to the first network.
Has anyone else been having a lack of wifi?
You can try another kernel if you'd like, can't say if they'd work or not as I've never tried one. Thus I'm not sure which to suggest.
Tried smoocha and att kernel from this group wouldn't boot afterwards.had to reflash the ROM.
Was able to get WiFi working By flashing latest modem file.

I've had the same issue. Flashed last night and no matter what it won't connect to my home wifi though it does scan and see available networks. I'm just searching for the modem right now. Great Rom though. Everything is nice and snappy.

What a beast you are
New build is up guys! Use the first "download" link in OP to get it.. ill be uploading on the second link too, in a minute!!
Changes - Check Euphoria's gerrit.
Sync was done like 7 hours back!
Used a new toolchain. UBER TOOLCHAIN 4.8 for ROM and 4.9 for kernel!
Everything is frikking smoother and faster now.
SELinux is set to permissive. I like it that way.
I am still looking to implement LVM. Might take time. I am a NOOB
I've tried both beta's and they both run extremely smooth. Only problem I've had with both is when someone sends me a text I get unfortunately messenger has stopped on both beta's. I've tried clean installs on both coming from nameless then tried clean install coming from cyanogen 12. Tried cleaning data and cache from messenger app but nothing has worked. Everything else has worked but receiving texts. Correct APN was verified so I'm at a loss.

I've seen where people were having same issues with cyanogen 12.1 as well so might be an underlying issue there. Wish they could get it resolved for what time I've played with this ROM I'd love to give it more time as a daily driver but I need to be able to receive texts. Other then this issue the work looks very good and promising.

Everything actually works at first boot. ROM backups my apps through cloud. But after restarting, WiFi breaks and am unable to fix the issue until I do another clean install. Only happens on 5.1, can't replicate it on 5.0.2.
EDIT: Scratch that, I actually flashed 2.48 :banghead: Wonder what the issue is.

no. But I think i will look into it on next weekend.
ROM is actually great and the horrid Play Services error is gone however, my mobile network signal is very unstable. Tried calling and tried receiving calls but just gets cut. I came from Euphoria which had no problem with this. Not sure if it has something to do with the Modem but looking at the OP the required modem is apparently already part of the ROM.
Other features of the ROM work out perfectly. Might just be me experiencing this network signal issue.

AOKP-ANDROID OPEN KANG PROJECT
What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you'd ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they're "baked in" by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone's settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

Yes - only because of the significant lack of lag.

Send GtrCraft a log cat. Try a factory wipe. If not booting, then I would fully wipe and start again
My phone is running really hot after installing this ROM, which is a shame as I really like the features of this ROM.
Anyone else experiencing the same?

What's AOSP ?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
I add no features and i am not going to add something other.
What's CodeAurora Forums ?
Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. Software projects it concerns itself with are e.g. Android for MSM, Femto Linux Project, LLVM, MSM WLAN and Linux-MSM. Code Aurora is basically AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.

I do not think that is the issue, as I flashed the rom and super su and got boot loop like last time, but I will give it a go anyway
edit: super su is already installed lol so maybe that's why, I will fiddle with gapps and see what happens
---------- Post added at 09:06 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:51 AM ----------
Well you were right, I installed pico gapps and it boots. That was weird, I hope there will be a fix soon because then you can really turn your lg g2 into a nexus 5!

Right now I am testing what gapps work, and so far gapps full seems to be the best.
This rom be epic. Not as many features as other roms but you probably can't beat the stability and the cleanliness of this rom, and will be my daily driver for a while now. This rom has a lot of potential, do not give up on it @xdahero1
You are yairpath, aren't you @xdahero1???
And how about Android 6 wifi auto disconnecting issue?
