need a good apk tool.

anyone knows that any good apk tool because i have facing a lots of problems with apk manager and apktool when compiling,it shows me lots of errors a kind of a bruteforce so i cannot theming in any of the roms.

Try apk multi tools...google for it...

i will test it weather it works or not,then i will report the result.

[Q] another messaging app like beanstalks

Hello all, I've finally found a 4.4 rom that had held my attention for longer than usual. It's a lot to do because of the messaging app on this rom which has some extra and a special features I haven't noticed been able find elsewhere. Particularly it's the theme settings and ill try to post some SS below incase this sounds new to some people. What I'm trying to figure out is can I either A.) Install beanstalks messaging apk into another rom and have it work as it should or B.) If not does anyone know of any other roms with the same theming options. Thanks to anyone who can help out.

Shameless bump, upgrading to desperate nudge. Here is a little info I what ive done/tried so far. I installed the omni tmo test rom and then extracted the messaging app from beanstalk rom and replaced the apk in omni set permissions rebooted and everything worked perfect including the theming portion I desire. I then flashed the latest cyanogen 11 nightly because the omni rom is still quit a bit buggy. Performed exact procedure on the cyan nightly as I did with omni and it works fine, until I press the the theme option in the app settings, I immediately get a "sorry, messaging has closed" error. Anyone know why perhaps or a possible anything I could try to fix this? Thanks for listening.

[Q] Internet Call Settings

Can someone explain to me why there are no Internet Call Settings on some ROM versions? I **THINK** it depends on which source is used and the modded official firmware does not have it, but the AOSP (CyanogenMod??) versions do?
The ROMs that I like most do not have the feature, so I will likely have to try and theme the AOSP to look like Insanity the Wicked_V10 (currentl favorire). But have Blue Lightning installed for use as extension to my PBX.
Any information appreciated!

Modified SMS App for 4.4

I just want to know if any devs or experienced modders here can mod the stock SMS app in 4.4 so it allows for the following features:
Able to send long texts without it converting to a MMS.
Emoji support.
I would like to update to 4.4 with either Cyanogenmod or another 4.4 ROM I'm currently running 4.3.1 and have a modded SMS that has the ability to do what is listed but isn't compatable past 4.3.1, this would be great if there was a modded version which is compatible with 4.4.x but without the lack of this one specific mod I will hold back.

Android 4.4 not available for stock ROM.
If you are using Stock 4.3 Rom then install xposed framwork & wanam exposed for Sending long text SMS. There are settings available. Please google for it.
For Emoji...Please flash attached zip file under recovery. Then open SMS app > New message > Click option button > Insert smiley
Please take nand backup under recovery before anything.

[HELP] Trying to port Ambient Display on CM12 by Kevinjoa

Hello i find this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/themes-apps/how-to-add-ambient-display-settings-t2942838 where is possible to enable ambient display option. I successfully completed the procedure, but i can't recompile the systemui.apk, apktool said to me lots of error. I share with you my work for now, if someone can recompile systemui.apk.
The framework-res should be ok.
This for latest build from kevinjoa's cm12.

I tried with another apktool and CyanogenMod original lg e975 but I experience a compatibility between app and framework. the apps always crashing and I can not solve this problem .
if you know of a way to ensure that the apps do not crashing then answer that I feel , however, the function is activated and ambient works .
