Hello folks
I'm facing a really bad issue...
An while ago I think I did not too much problem with my battery
Here my problem.
I have a LG g2 (d805) and a moto 360
When using it without Google fit tracking activities there is no such drain..
But when it's enable I have the following attached battery graph....
I though it was a custom Rom so I went stock but did not matter... same issue...
I'm hoping some people can help with anything... or just let me know same problems... I don't find much info in the internet about this problem...
Any one can try figure out what can be done?
I tested without the moto 360 and fit enable... not much drain...
The problem seems to be when both are enable together...
Tomorrow I Will use the phone with fit tracking disable.
After tomorrow will leave the moto 360 at home....
Already made this tests but I took no screenshots....
Thanks
Appreciate any help
Delete Google Fit? I removed it weeks ago and use the moto step counter
As promised follow the screenshot when Google fit disabled.
I don't see the point, It really sucks when fit is enabled =//

I would really like to use it.. hope it won't kill my battery.
Tomorrow Will have the fit enabled but Bluetooth off and see what happens...
Thanks anyway
Its the activity detector on Google fit. Disable it, and no more drain.

Hey, I do know that...but there is anyway of not having to disable Google fit activities?
And I got it wrong, the there is no difference because of moto 360 I stayed a day with the watch disconnected and the drain where the same as with watch turn on...
So the problem is exclusive with Google fit...
Still very big deal for me, as I want to fit detect my activities... I'm sure it wasn't that bad before....

So hunting through the bloat I chance upon this interesting kibble. Using nobloat I disabled it and thusfar no issues...But doesn't anyone know what the heck it is?
Google wasn't much help in that regard.
Maybe it is the dreaded "Battery Sucker" we are all searching to disable/stake through the heart/flame to hell, cut it's scrawny head off???
that's weird, i just checked and mine has com.lge.wolfman

Imagine it is the reason why the battery life is so horrible. And if so, why is it there to begin with? hehe
makes us actually wonder that question with serious thought, just WHY is it there and named so? i can actually say i saw battery life decrease when i enabled it. i could leave my phone unused in my holster all day and see little dropoff, but when i re-enabled com.lge.dracula i actually lost 3/4 of my battery power by mid-day!! coincidence?? maybe....LTE affiliation? possibly.... "battery sucker"?? certainly.

Can someone run it with the others over at Skyrocket's forum n see if it's also available on their phone. If it is, then it might be LTE related.
Repherb, when u disable it, did u check to see if your LTE will work or not?
i froze dracula through Titanium backup , currently connected to LTE, no problems here, restarted to make sure. it is still frozen and LTE connected.
LG Optimute LTE. P930.
Who can we inquire to here in XDA to research on this random file? Can someone from XDA investigate with LG to find out the purpose behind this file?
Also, is there any possibility of some screenshots to show the difference freezing Dracula does to the battery life? This way we can prove that this file (or Wolfman) does suck the life out of the battery and is the reason behind the horrible battery life.
Froze it, no discernible difference in battery life imo.
Ran a video playback test, the extrapolated playback time at 40% brightness in airplane mode is about 5 hours 20 mins. The same test on my SGS2 got slightly over 8 hours.
LTE works fine when disabled, i am going to dive into the OS to see what calls this. btw: after rooting with DoomLord v3 zergrush, i am getting a serious amount of FC with nothing disabled using GO launcher. anyone else having this? just a [Q]... not trying to cross post...
**************UPDATE******************
after running top, i found that "lg_fota" (OTA updates) calls the Dracula process. hope this sheds some light on this elusive process.
I hate to reopen a two year old thread, but since Dracula is actually undead, I just have to ask: has anyone figured out what com.lge.dracula is, and if it's safe to chuck it?
Hi People,
as some of you may recall, just a couple of days back i decided to do some flashing with my wife's play. Installed ICS beta & DarkForest add-on.
However, from last night i am not able to find the phone
As luck may have it, the battery was dead too.
There was just a 15 min time frame when the maid was around the house (i know it's wrong to suspect but hell, i've turned the house upside down) when it went missing.
I wanto know is there any way i can trace the phone?
The sim is (or was) still in the phone at that time when the charge ran out...
And of course i have all the original documentation for the IMEI numbers and stuff..
Is there a way i can track the baby down?
Any help is appreciated!
As far as i can recall no technolgy can track a dead phone.
Unless the phone gets turned on...No and even then it's a long shot. What you need to do is install this app via google play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lookout.labs.planb&feature=more_from_developer and if your phone is turned on+connected ot the internet when its connected to the internet + logged into the google account you download plan B with you may just be able to find the phone.... Other than that your only option is to contact the authorities.

I have ordered one. Wanted to know if someone has used it with Galaxy S3?
Using it since last two days. All is good. Using it after fully charging and after about 28hours watch battery is about 70%, although my phone battery is bow draining much quicker.
One problem that I am having is that it will some how loose connection and won't connect then unless I unpair and pair again.
That happens about once or twice in a day.
Still testing and keep you guys update..........
Well as days have passed my smartwatch is now working more better but battery draining on the phone side is still a worry (maybe it's just cause now I have continuous Bluetooth connectivity)
Well for me all is working good and only thing I miss is more add-ons but then more add-ons require more syncing that will make battery drain more and the smartwatch get slow.
The connection lost problem I mentioned before is not here now but still sometimes my smartwatch gets dc and then reconnects again ( I think that's only cause the smartwatch app is killed by taskmanager on my phone)
All n all. Its working great for now and I am really enjoying it. It's more easier to keep my phone silent now and still easily knot miss a call.
Any good add ons links are appreciated

it does work well i have personally used one for months
the only issue i have is charging it can be a pain because of the connector.
Im leaning more toward the Pebble Watch once it release's or maybe the Metawatch By Fossil.

I'm very interested in the Galaxy Watch, but I'd be more tempted to go third party, just because Anyone have any suspicions that the Galaxy will be the game changer, or more of the same?
So I'm about to get my Moto 360 in a few hours now and since the release in early September have been reading all the forums scavenging for any problems and tips and tricks... Now I have a few questions..
1. Some users have been having cracked backs on their 360's -I read that a while back and haven't really seen it reappear since then... Is that still a problem ?
2. Is there an app that would let me set an alarm and then wake me up using my watch in the morning ?
3. What are some must have apps for the Moto 360 ? In terms of usability and looks
4. In the beginning allot of people had problems getting their watch to charge and so on... How do I proceed when I bring it home?? - charge it for an hour ( it should come on by itself when charged, right?), connect to my phone and then update it ??
5. Custom watch bands... Is the pebble steel watch band OK to use with the Moto 360 ?? Does it cause any wifi or bluetooth issues or any problem with the plastic back?
I think those are all my questions.. Thnx for answering - am so pumped for the watch, can't wait to get it!

I've still seen a few more recent issues. Mostly from people who try to replace the band themselves. Reddit thread about cracking.

You can set an alarm directly on the watch but I wouldn't trust it to wake me up since it only vibrates. I use Timely on my phone.

First semi reliable info! Let the countdown begin!
This is when the international versions will begin to receive the update. Look for AT&T (and the other carriers) to hold that update at least 3 to 6 months extra to add their bloat.

Exactly. So we can seriously expect a release date sometime this summer to late summer. That is, IF ATT decides to release the update at all.

Me too!
I'm happy with mine, too. I got so obsessed with flashing Roms on my first 3 galaxies that I finally got burnt out on it. Sure, root would be nice, but I'm fine with the device as is. But I also don't have some of the issues I see other have. I've got no camera problems and I regularly get about 6 hours of screen on time. So, I'm good.

That's quite a broad question but I'll try to give you details. I've disabled anything I don't use or that I know cause battery drain. There are several apps in the app manager that aren't "useable" apps, and they aren't in the app drawer, but cause significant battery drain - disabled without negative results. I switch between touchwiz and Nova Prime launchers (and have noticed no difference in battery drain). I keep things like wifi and Bluetooth disabled if I'm not using them. Auto brightness turned off. I keep location on but only on power saving mode unless I'm traveling out if town.
That's generally it, I guess...

It's a long list. It was easier to just screenshot them. In the bottom two you can see my battery stats. I unplugged this morning around 7:15 AM and I'm down to about 47% after 8 hours and 3.5 hours screen-on time.
Today, I've checked email several times, had several phone calls, plus I've streamed youtube to a chromecast for classes that I teach, and even played a couple games during lunch. I do have lots of other apps I use, too; about 4-5 pages worth in my app drawer. Working well for me.

Hi,
Will it be possible to update my device in another country that there is no AT&T services here. Last time in forum I saw some guys telling to use Kies to update and they said there are some pages but I couldn't find them either.
Can you help me to locate one of these pages, If exists; to be able to update my device automatically ? Everytime I update my device in my country I had to backup everything and put back again which is reallly painfull!

Kies is one way, but it sometimes takes Kies a while to get the carrier-branded firmwares. (International firmware is almost instant on the other hand).
The fastest 2 ways to get the update would be to
1) use someone's activated ATT sim in your phone. Pop it in, boot up the phone, wait a few minutes for the sim to set itself up with your phone, then check for updates. Then download, install, and then put your original sim back in.
2) Use an Odin file. The only issue with this is that you most likely will have to start from scratch with your apps and settings. Be sure to back everything up first.
You'll also have to wait for the Odin files to be released by someone, but it'll be 100x sooner than Kies.
Edit: The latest 5.1.1 Odin files are in the first post here (you'll need all 4 files in the Dropbox link):
