Jedi-X Kitchen​
This is an Aroma installer that contains several options for kernels, modems, themes (one for now) and all of the apps removed in the base Jedi-X ROM, and a few other requested apps, all of which are available singularly in Addis' Jedi Goody Bag
*Please note: This is prepared specifically for Jedi-X and NOT Jedi-Master. Different bases are used and you may run into issues if you try to flash these on Jedi-Master. I have done a similar Aroma installer for Jedi-Master HERE.
The aim here is to provide a single flashable zip using the intuitive touchscreen features of Aroma to allow the user to select as many apps/features as they want, without having to flash them individually.
Standard Disclaimer:Though I have personally tested this and it is working on my device, I can not make any such warranties or guarantees for anyone else flashing this. As with anything else we flash, You do so entirely at your own risk. Standard stuff guys, always make sure you have a backup handy in case something goes wrong, so you can restore if need be.

How To Install:
Place the Jedi-X-Kitchen.......zip on your device (internal SD or external)
Boot into recovery (CWM or TWRP) Personally tested on TWRP, should work with CWM.
Make sure you have a Backup!
Flash the ZIP- Aroma Installer will run and you simply navigate through the various screens selecting your options to flash. Please note, that if you selecting to install a theme, this can take a couple minutes to install, just wait for it, and make sure you have a BACKUP before you flash as there isn't an option to UNDO or remove the theme.

That one is already wrapped up in a nice aroma installer with tons of options and would add a couple hundred megs to the file size...unless I maybe rip out some of the options and simplified it....might be doable.

Nope...I don't know if ptmr3 has any plans for doing AOSP port. Seems like he has his hands full with what he does now, but you never know.

Most of the apps/kernels and modems should work fine I would think, but not the theme. I can all but gaurantee that wont work, I believe it's been tweaked just for the Jedi series of ROMs

[ROM][I9505][AROMA] Samy Deluxe ROM - True Sound of Liberty (1.6.2015)

Thank you for your continuous interest in my work. I am happy to announce a new updated version of my Samy Deluxe ROM but please do not expect new versions on a daily basis. I release whenever I feel like and there is no masterplan or schedule I follow. As the Clash said, “the future is unwritten”, which means this could be the last Samy Deluxe update, or another step towards my world domination plan. Who knows?
First Samy Deluxe Release based on Android 5.0 Lollipop
This latest release is finally based on Android Lollipop but still fully adheres to my Samy Deluxe principles. No fancy-bull**** tweaks, no super-secret sauce is included, every element is straight to the point. It includes many (read carefully: not all!) Galaxy S6 features and apps, because I strongly believe this is what Samsung should have brought to all of its devices instead of forcing people to upgrade their hardware twice a year whenever Samsung releases a new flagship smartphone.
Since I am not a developer I haven’t been able to fully port all existing Galaxy S6 features. There are things missing which I am not able to fix.
I am also not including detailed instructions on how to flash this onto your Galaxy S4 because most people will not read it. If you were able to successfully flash a prior Samy Deluxe ROM version you will be able to do so again.
I installed the ROM pretty much like everybody else does. I copied the file to the internal disk, rebooted into recovery, went through the AROMA-Installer and kept my fingers crossed afterwards for a while since the very first boot up process takes an endless time.
I encourage everybody to take and modify this in every possible way and I neither don’t mind if you credit it or not, nor can I control what you are doing. Even though I must admit that I have some advanced mind control skills that will probably trick you into keep coming back here on a daily basis.
Or, to make a long story short: Use it!
Samy Deluxe ROM Questions & Answers
Do I have to full wipe before installation?
Yes, most probably you will get some errors so a full wipe (can be done via Aroma Installer) is recommended.
Do I have to flash a bootloader or modem?
Please use a Lollipop bootlader and modem if you encounter errors. Which one doesn't matter. Do not ask where to get them or how to flash. This is a development thread. Seak assistance in an appropriate thread - there is plenty of help here at XDA but you want everything directly served to you. Well, sorry but this is a "bring your own beer party"!
How often will you release updates and fixes?

Using Samy Deluxe ROMs will make you sexier. In case you are sexy enough I would urge you not to use this ROM.

Download to internal SD card, do not put it on your external SD-card
Reboot into recovery. Please use TWRP
FullWipe or use option to factory reset
Install and reboot
Flash other addons after first boot (very important)
Q: What can I do if there are some errors?
Errors are likely to be there. This is still due to its nature a work in progress. However, before posting, read if the issue hasn't already been mentioned.
If you decide it hasn't, report the error and attach a logcat.

After you choose "install zip" it is an option twoard the bottom. Uncheck that.

Also don't go back to 4.3?

I don't know about original 4.3 builds, all I can say is that I switched between 4.3 and 4.4 custom ROMs without a problem, but AGAIN: I don't know about official builds/stock odin packages.

Hello there , Did you use @friedrich420 rom as base mate? and why arent you giving him any credit or something. or your part of hes team? hehe and Sound setting is Fcing when i try to change the volume

I did use the SecSettings.apk that was posted here a couple of days ago. I credited the thread starter. If that was taken from somewhere else I am sorry and will credit as stated in my first post.
Volume works fine here and is no issue so I guess you must have dirty flashed or something.

Must have recovery installed (TWRP)
Do not wipe yet as the bootloader and modem flashable below looks for the phone build prop to verify variant
Install the 20G bootloader and modem if you haven't already (If you do not use this bootloader or have not done the full KDZ install of 20B/E/G, you will get a security error and the rom will not boot.)
Copy ROM to external SDcard
Reboot to Recovery
Wipe Data/Factory reset (I always do 3x for good measure)
Wipe Cache (Again, I always do 3x for good measure)
Wipe Dalvik Cache
DO NOT WIPE INTERNAL
Flash ROM
Reboot System

A couple things to note:
If you use a different kernel, do not report issues until you verify issue with stock (included kernel).
I am not responsible if you brick your phone, but of course you would know that if you are flashing this.
Of course your warranty is already voided from rooting your phone.

I am in general a very busy person, so I like to rely on you and other XDA members to help eachother. That is what this is all about right? I will continue to update this as I feel necessary. With my flashing habit, that may be alot. Search before asking questions.
I built this ROM for my personal use and decided to share because of how well it works.
I am not a themer, so don't expect any fancy themes! If you would like to create a theme and share, please let me know and I will add it to the OP. This goes for any other MOD. I am happy to add things to the builds if they work well and you want to contribute.

You can get them from the stock rom. system/media/audio folder is what you would want to pull. You will also need to put the names of the ringtones/notification/alarms that you would like to use by default in the build.prop. You can find the correct spot by searching for the following lines:

Again, I make this rom for my personal use and cannot stand the stock music like ringtones, so that is why I made the switch. Just personal preference. If I ever get some free time, I will put together a flashable zip, but I have been in a hurry trying to get this out to share.

ok, so if I understand, I am sitting with 10m and running zonerom so I can flash this rom and it takes me to 10r? I don't do OTAs out of habit....

You are correct. I recommend clean flash coming from another custom ROM.

No need. SuperSU is already there. It is an older version, so just update from the play store

I'm in the process of downloading again for the 4th time because md5 wouldn't match the op.
It does however match the one located on AndroidFileHost

Just want to point out the link in OP points to the default D85110R.zip. I was able to look through your other files to find the SR_V1.zip.

You must have done a lot more than simply deodexing the rom, it's not even 1GB,
I never seen a deodexed debloated stock touchwiz rom that small.
You must have remove a lot of stuff!
Also you forgot to mention which Galaxy phone model this rom is for.
( G928T - N920T or ??? )

Only WIPE SYSTEM

With the proper Arter97 Kernel, would this ROM work for the standard T-Mobile S6 edge 925T? Also does this ROM retain the T-Mobile WiFi Calling?

This rom will NOT work properly if at all on a G925T, even the screen
sizes of the G925T and G928T are different and that's just for starters.
This rom can retain Wifi Calling if used with arter's v4.1 custom kernel.
But this custom kernel is ONLY for G928T and Note 5 variants.
Sorry about that.

I have the SIXPERIENCE S6 edge+ ROM installed on my 925T with Arter97 4.1 925TW8 Kernel and all works perfect even with the changed dpi. Only reason I am seeking a T-Mobile based ROM is to gain the Wifi Calling back but this ROM should theoretically work just like other ports. I just wanted to see if anyone has tested it out yet, if not I will give it a shot and keep you guys posted.

Just be careful cause the rom has a boot partition that is in the updater script if your boot partition is not /dev/block/mmcblk0p15 then you need to change it
As well as model and fingerprint but yeah go for it bud just make a backup! Lol

If this rom was not so stripped down I would flash it myself, but I cannot complain
cause after all this is the very first deodex rom which is specifically for the G928T.
Perhaps if you have the time you can cook up another version of this rom which
has not been stripped down so much if at all, there are a lot of people who know
how to debloat and what to debloat.
Personally speaking I never debloat at all, I freeze apps since I know that by debloating
we don't save any usable space at all on our sdcard, the partition for the rom & sdcard
are separate and both are at a fixed size which cannot change without re-partitioning and
there is no noticeable speed difference with a 1GB or a 1.5GB rom.
But as I said, this rom is the very first deodex rom for the Tmobile G928T phone
and I am sure that many people will love to flash it and give it a try.

Yeah just hate all the pre installed apps taking up space in my app drawer! Lol yeah ill post a pure stock deodexed in the OP as well for those that want it

There is a fix for that too, get a launcher which has the feature of hiding apps which
are in the app drawer, I use "Next Launcher 3D" which has the option to hide apps
and there are many other launchers which have that option too.
Also I am sure that there are a lot of apps at the playstore which were made specifically
to hide apps for those people who don't want to change launchers.

Ok my good people, I bring you a repertoire of roms from my personal collection. First, the S7 International Port for our great T-Mobile Note 4. ​
Secondly, I am also bringing in an N7 International Port for our beloved device. ​
Thirdly, I am also bringing in an S8-ish International Port for our beloved device. ​
Lastly, I am bringing a N4 rom which is uses T-Mobile stock firmware for our beloved Note 4. ​
First things First, I am in NO WAY RESPONSIBLE if you brick, damage, break or simply blow up your phone! This is a custom ROM and will void your warranty!​

Rom Information
These ROMs were my personal ROMs, I just decided to share my work so others can also enjoy the many mods that have been worked into these ROMs. I am not looking for requests so don't make any. Again I am only sharing my work, based on what I like for my ROMs and what I wanted in them. If there is an issue that needs fixing by all means, do report and I will try my best to help on the issue and fix it if possible.
With that being said there are four different roms:
TWIZtd ROM S7
This is the final version of the TWIZtd Rom S7. It is one single rom with everything already included in it.
TWIZtd ROM N7
This is the final version of the TWIZtd Rom N7. It is one single rom with everything already included in it.
TWIZtd ROM N4
This is the final version of the TWIZtd Rom N4. It is one single rom with everything already included in it.
TWIZtd ROM S8
This is the final version of the TWIZtd Rom S8. It is one single rom with everything already included in it.
There are five other very important files that are available for download:
TWIZtd UI N7
This is the modded UI that is to be flashed if you want to have mods in your UI
TWIZtd UI S8
This is the modded UI that is to be flashed if you want to have mods in your UI
TWIZtd ROM Mods
This is the folder that will provide the user with many options to customize their rom even further. Things like kernels, Xposed, different apps that work on the rom etc. There are some Apps that are specific to each rom. Please ensure that you are going to be using the app zip that goes with your rom. This is not a flashable zip. It is a RAR file, that is meant to have its contents extracted to where the user so desires. Clarifying note, many of these mods are not mine, I have just compiled them here and brought them to one place to make the life of you users easier.
Boot Sounds
This is a RAR file that contains some boot sounds that I have compiled and put together in one file. These are not mine, I take no credit for them at all.
Boot Animations
This is a RAR file that contains some boot animations that I have compiled over the past year or so and have put many in flashable format that were not. Most have been put in flashable format by me and I really cannot remember who the original owners of each boot animation is, there are ones that were made by the original owners of the boot animation and I have not changed those at all, they are there with original owner information and all. These are not mine, I take no credit for them at all.
Install Instructions (They are the same for all FOUR roms with minor exceptions to the N7/S8. Read Carefully the following instructions please!!!!)
Important Note Before Installing TWIZtd S7/N7
A clean install is mandatory for these roms. Please do not dirty flash over previous builds. You will not get a fully working rom. There are going to be errors present. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!
1. Copy TWIZtd ROM S7/S8/N7/N4 (Whichever you choose) to your ExtSDCard
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik x3
4. Install TWIZtd Rom from ExtSDCard
5. Reboot and fully set up TWIZtd ROM
6. (N7/S8 ONLY) When done, IF desired reboot recovery again
8. (N7/S8 ONLY) Flash TWIZtd UI N7 or S8 (whichever one you installed) for a customized experience
9. Reboot and enjoy!!!!!
10. Initial Boot Time of TWIZtd Rom S7/S8/N7/N4 is approximately 10-15 Minutes so be patient. Sometimes, it could be a bit more, max wait time should be up to 25 minutes. Hopefully you will enjoy my work!
11. THE TWIZtd MODS FOLDERS ARE NOT FLASHABLES, THEY ARE FOR YOU TO DOWNLOAD AND EXTRACT TO THE LOCATION DESIRED. THE ZIP FILES INSIDE THE RAR FILES ARE FLASHABLES.

The colors on my text in settings is white, what do I do?
If it is white it means you set up stock rom, installed 3.1 update and have not opened TWIZtd Control. Open it, go to phone and look for phone settings mods and change colors of the text to your liking.
Does xposed work on this rom?
Yes, I use Wanams build 87.1. This has the regular and alt all in one. It is included in TWIZtd Rom mods zip file
Does this offer wi-fi calling?
NO, this is an international rom.
The brightness slider or brightness itself is not working, what should I do?
Try turning off AOD==Always On Display (either in the quick settings toggles or in settings/display) lock your screen and wake again. All should be fine now. Also try changin from adaptive display to AMOLED Cinema. Reboot if necessary after changes to see if brightness works now.

The mods for the Launcher in TWIZtd Control are not working, what gives?
That is because you are using a stock S8 launcher which comes with the rom. No mods whatsoever. There is no 6th Gear Swipe or Upday when swiping to the left either. If you want, flash the modded launcher in TWIZtd Rom mods zip file
The UI is getting laggy when there are 4+ notifications being displayed. Is this normal?
Yes, this happens due to the massive modding done to the framework to make it look like Nougat. There is no fix for this. It is what it is, and if you want Nougat framework, then you have to live with that

The flashlight toggle is not working, what should I do?
You should press the small arrow next to the toggle name to expand flashlight toggle options. There increase the intensity of LED and turn the switch on. Now it will work everytime by just pressing the toggle as that whole process is a one time deal

The icons in my notification are white and the background as well. So it is white on white, what do I do?
This means you have not gone into TWIZtd Control and looked into Framework Preferences and looked under Notification Preferences. There you can change your colors to what you want.

Yes, this is a T-Mobile base. It has all T-Mobile stock features like Wi-Fi Calling, Fingerprint for lockscreen, Video Calling and Advanced Messaging.

Good to see this on the development section.
A new development for the Note 4.
For me the last full featured Samsung flagship.
Removable battery, ir blaster, memory card slot,
MHL 3.0 to hdmi video output; all of this features lost on the Note 5.
Well, to be fair we loose usb 3.0 from the Note 3.
Stable and smooth ROM. Working perfect with the Gear VR.
By the way the newer black version of the Gear VR fits and works perfect
with the Note 4. Using the provided microusb adapter base connector.
This is my daily driver.

Yeah caught that too. Just extract it and replace it at system/priv-app/SecSettings2 set the right permissions and restart, and ur good to go! Ill upload a new zip with that fixed.

Thank you for the amazing build keeping our Note 4 alive. Out of my 8 devices my Note 4 is tops and paired with the speed of your rom...BOOM! Gonna try to get xposed working later tried v85arm wouldnt boot gonna try v86 by Wanam later. Will post if its working if you havent already tried it.

Sorry, noob question. What is the right permission i need to set if I'm doing that way or i should probably wait for the updated zip.

1) screen keeps dimming, have to sleep the screen and wake it up to get the screen bright.
2) random reboots not sure if it's a one off thing.

When you copy it to the right location look at what permission the other apps have

Make sure auto adjust screen tone is off.

Hmmmm......ur issues are new to me bud. Every tester had a successful run. The random reboot has only been seen by me, but in my case I know why, bad battery. Now the screen dimming, that is something I have not experienced. Is AOD off as well? There could be an issue in the new Smart Manager. Try the Smart Manager 3 which is in the rom already, and should have installed just not active. Just rename the apks, remove the bak in the end, and add bak to the apks of Smart Manager 4 and restart. Tell me if that works!
