Since GB27 is the OTA. and We have the S4 system dump. Touched by An S4(more like overtaken)...With S3 & Note 2 flavors
And now Agat63's Kernel/recovery.This is the Final-Final build
Ok I'll say this to all, If there are certain part of the ROM which you don't like, remove them. I try to put a mixture of everything. I can't make everyone happy. You, the person who flashes the ROM, has control of what you keep and what you get rid of. It's not directed at anyone, just a general statement. With that said, I do take suggestions and input....constructive input and I will always listen.

New Flashing instructions
Please follow the directions or you will bootloop and have to odin to recover.
Clean Flash Only
If you dirty flash and have issues, do a full wipe first before reporting issues.
Download TBSGS4 ROM check MD5sum
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A JB MODEM INSTALLED! (preferably GB27)

then boot into recovery

This way you can fully wipe everything to include the /Preload folder as well

known issues:
On full wipe "SystemUI has crashed" :
For the fix, simply reboot your phone, nothing to wipe just do a simple reboot.
Or you can wait until you get a notification or use 3minit app to change the statusbar.
Major issue
May have boot loop issues when wiping and flashing from Agat's or Garwynn's recovery. Fix- wipe and flash from EL26+CWM recovery

Ripple live wallpaper has stopped
This is normal. it is due to the wallpaper needing to read the SD Card at startup to be applied. Once the SD Card is done being read and you click OK. The wallpaper with ripple effect will show back up.
Not being able to set wallpaper
Go to manage apps and clear app preferences.
Stock video player FC and crashing
Flash either garwynn's or stock kernel
Not being able to download from market
Three things:
1)Clear google play store cache and data(manage apps) remove google account. reboot phone. Add google account again and download.
2)If you get the error not enough room/space.......unmount SD Card. download and install app. remount SD Card.
3)Try flashing the stock kernel GB27

HOW TO PROPERLY FLASH A JB ROM
Ok so first thing. We have all see a rise in questions how to properly flash a JB ROM or JB modem. some people say one way other say another. Which kernel/recovery do you use? which is the best way to flash a modem? Why use "X" over "Y"? Here is a small collection of what I use that has never failed me. If you follow these steps you can't go wrong.
1) If you have never been on JB before. you need to flash a JB one click that wipes everything. even internal storage. I know its a bit scary to wipe your internal storage but it is necessary to repartition the phone. under JB we have a new /preload folder; which is ~200MBs. So we need to make room for it. You can grab a copy of GB27. Make sure to get the data wipe version. Back up all your internal storage on your PC before you flash.

How to Flash a Modem
Somethings have changed due to new recovery kernel for JB.
This is if you need to know how to flash a JB modem. Really, there are two ways to accomplish this. One is with PC odin and the other is flashing in a recovery. We will start with PC odin first. use the link below for where to get the modem.....JB modem. Download a JB modem which is FK23 - GB27. ll of them will work, some better than others. I recommend downloading a One-Click (OC) modem and while you are there download a Zip version as well.
Odin / PC Once the OC odin is download open it up as administrator and put your phone in download mode. once you hook your phone up to the PC you will see a yellow [COM:] box. this means you are connected and ready. So now all you have to do is hit the start button. Let it run and finish......it will take about 3-5 mins. It will auto-reboot your phone when it is finished. Now all you have to do is update profile and PRL and your good.

Then when you are on that kernel:
Just reboot to recovery
Wipe cache and delvik cache
flash modem
reboot
update profile and PRL
If done properly you will have your baseband show the modem you flashed. You will have data now on a JB ROM. Just make sure to update profile and PRL once its booted up. Either one of these methods will work and you can flash different JB modems to see which one works better. For me personally, GB08 and GB27 modem works the best.

Flashing a custom ROM
The biggest thing is make sure to follow the OP directions. They will never steer you wrong. Now that you are booted up and everything works, make sure to update profile and PRL too, your phone is now ready to flash a JB ROM. Now, you will also have a JB modem now with the Full Jelly Bean ROM.
You are going to need a few things handy before you do so.

Seems there are issues with flashing/wiping from agat's or garwynn's kernel/recovery. So, it is recommended to flash with EL26+CWM kernel or EL29 Direct Boot kernel.

And then of course the ROM you wish to flash. that brings me to my next portion
when you download anything that you are going to flash. Please check the MD5 Sum and make sure it matches what is posted. I have seen countless issues due to flashing corrupt files. This way you won't have strange issues after you flash it. Ok now that you have the ROM you want......let's flash it.
General steps
(actual steps may vary. Always read and follow the OP directions)
1)Reboot to safe recovery
2)wipe cache and delvik cache
3)navigate to install zip from SD Card
4)Flash JB wipe all 2x zip
5)Flash the ROM
6)when it is done....reboot....be patient

That wasn't that painful was it? those steps never failed me. Please if you have issues make sure to follow this. If you are having issues and you followed this to the letter, I will be more than willing to help you. But If you decided to do your own thing and not read....well, that's on you then. TBSGS3/4 has been downloaded over 4000 times and there has only been a handful of issues. Mostly due to people not reading/following the install directions or coming right from ICS or not having the correct modem.
And remember.......Always follow the OP.
I hope this helps and I am open to corrections/addition to this post. I don't have all the answers but this is a community. We help each other, We learn and we grow.

This isn't that easy to mod or theme without a cwm kernel everytime is it.. lol Took me awhile too. Hit me up on gtalk if you need anything. Lemme know.

Flashing Instructions:
Flash Rom. All roots and apps should load during flash. Bios Boot Ani only runs once, so you will get a black screen until finish initial install. (Just Wait about 1min)
ON first boot. Lets stand for a few minutes. Just gives it time to settle in and get nice and cozy.
Xposed Installer is included. If you want Wanam, you can go to the downloads and install it. (NOTE: You will need to go to settings/security/ and enable unknown sources
As of now please use the TB FIXER after restoring files using Titanium Backup
Backups to GOSMS have had no issues during testing.
Wifi "Always Allow Scanning" so far has no affect on functionality and does not cause boot loops
USB Debugging is enable by default. If you want to turn it off. Go to General/about device and click on build number until it says your a dev.
For US TMO users, US keyboard, offline voice recognition, handwriting language will need to be downloaded and selected. As well as Sammys HQ Voice text to speech

I have tried to download this three times - each time the file downloads - but when I try to open it - I get an error message saying the file is invalid. I am using GOOGLE CHROME as my browser (not that it should matter as I tried in IE and had the same result) and I have very good download speeds - each time the entire download took approximately 10 to 15 minutes. File size seems right at just over 1.4 GB -
Not sure what the problem is - but look forward to it getting fixed - would like to try this...

STILL can;t download a usable file - is this happening for anyone else?

Going to pull the DL for a lil bit. Building V1.2. The Sec files are being replaced with updated U.S. Version. Have found out that the international files seem to be incompatible after implementing the CSC

I tried transferring the zip from my computer to the sd via cable and it wouldn't, get an error code. So I removed the sd card from my phone and put the zip on it via SD card adapter and it transferred fine that way but then when I tried flashing it fails right away.

There is no wifi calling on international roms

These are downloads from within the phone itself. GO to language and input to download keyboard languages and text-to-speech languages, as they are defaulted to UK until the next build.

After receiving the go ahead from friedrich420 to go ahead with this port I decided to get it out quick. I'm not sure if that'd make it official or not I'll have to see.
Gogolie'sROM Port:ECHOE V12 See.Emily.Play.-TW-4.3-MK2/AnyCarrier-SS-KNOXfree-CLEAN-FAST-THEMED-OFFICIALPORTROM - SAFESTRAP (Install to any slot and restore to Stock slot too! Compatible with VZW - AT&T - TMO and can be installed on MDK/MDL and should be any phone with TWRP recovery.
original vzw port thread (post questions there or search actual rom's thread for more info)
If you dont know ECHOE get familiar (read the 1400 page thread.). This version features a cool Floyd theme. Restore it to your stock slot in Safestrap or to any slot you like or restore it with TWRP/Philz any recovery that is TWRP compatible should work. AT&T and other carriers may need to flash your MK2 modules or add in TMO APN / AT&T APN settings to get this beast working 100%. If that didn't fix your problem then you need to install the GSM / LTE carrier modem (just guessing that your GSM if you can't get this going as thats been only complaint of lost data and he was able to fix it with proper carrier modem).
Known issues/Not Working (only for select users):
No issues exist if phone is setup properly. however...
If it doesnt work for you I'm sorry your best bet if your on VZW is SS with something else installed stock slot would be mk2/mj7 stock odin, reroot, ss,(I go to MK2 as I have best speeds and benchmarks with it) n I know it will work flawlessly if rooted and setup as described cause I've used this ROM package on 7 phones for clients (1 AT&T, 2 TMOs one with mdl bootloader and one with locked and 4 VZWs).... enjoy took me some time to put together so if it works thank me or better yet donate so you can see updates and more roms!
Due to packaging restraints and installation issues a familiar format like .zip is not available yet but will be soon. Until then please use the TWRP/SS restore option as its a more viable install and can be restored onto any slot including Stock through Safestrap. If someone wants to help the cause please install this through philztouch then create a zip from the rom do not flash anything else over the rom and upload the zip and PM me the link it'd help me out a lot!

Install:
Unzip into your new SS backup dir into your backup Safestrap folder in a folder like gogolies-echoe12v3 make sure all files are simply in 1 folder and that folder is in your backup directory and restore to a ***blank/newly created or STOCK*** rom slot. I went super small as small as SS would allow for slot creation. If your getting an error on restoring be sure to try deleting the slot and re-adding it then restoring the system files. If your WiFi doesn't work try flashing MJ7 or MK2 SS modules but only flash modules after 1st booting up rom and knowing wifi isnt working. 1st boot takes time plz allow a minute after loading up 1st time.

3a. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Backup
2. Recommended Recovery: PhilZ Touch
3. You need to do a clean install!!! Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe System (In Philz recovery use the Following Options: Wipe Data/ Factory Reset/ Clean to Install a New Rom) and then Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose to save the Rom)
4. The installation process takes between 3-5 minutes. Let it do its job Also the 1st boot also takes 3-5 minutes. I would also recommend that before the initial setup, you dont do anything to your phone for 5 minutes... Let it settle and then proceed with the initial setup... That's just my usual ritual with any Rom I flash
Note: Even if you are coming from a previous version of Echoe Rom, it is still STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you do a full wipe before flashing!!

A: Both the stock browser and keyboard have been deleted on purpose since they did not work well with the 4.3 leak and kept FC. You may try to install them back yourself and most likely you'll face the issues mentioned.
Q: My wi-fi keeps forgetting the ssid and it takes 30 seconds to connect. How can i fix this?
A: This is an issue in version 4.0 only, and has been fixed in v4.1. Please update your rom.
Q: My LTE signal doesn't stay on when i turn off the screen. I lose my connection completely. Is there i fix for this?
A: This is a known issue and has been mentioned in OP as a bug. In Connections/ More Networks/ Mobile Networks/Network Mode choose GSM. You can choose LTE if you want but unless you are in an area that has non-stop LTE coverage, you will face the following bug: when your screen is off, it will lose the networks and stop mobile data. That wont happen when the screen is on and its really fast. So the solution would be to have the GSM option ticked and that way you still have mobile data even with screen off.
Q: I don't like the custom EchoeRom background. How can i get back to stock?

A: No, Echoe roms does not include bootloader so you will still have the old bootloader if you had it prior to flashing Echoe rom. This way you can still have an old bootloader with fully working newer firmware bases, even the new 4.3!
Q: I have lost the brightness bar after flashing Echoe V 3.1. How can I reinstall it back?

A: Currently Adam kernel does not support it, but you try Ausdim kernel instead as it has the option for fast charge.

A: Navigate to system/media/audio/ui/PowerOn.mp3 and change it to PowerOn.bak or delete it completely using root browser or similar app.
Q: I'm getting really poor screen time. How can I fix it?
A: You need to use WLD (wake lock detector) or similar app to see what app(s) cause you wakelocks. Remember to enable system apps from setting settings.
- if it's media scanner that's draining your battery, download 'rescan media scanner' from the market to disable media scanner.
- if it's NlpCollectorWakeLock, then go to Google settings > Android Device Manager and uncheck Remotely locate this device.
It is also good to use Greenify to hibernate apps and save your battery.
Q: I have FC while trying to change volume settings. How to get it working again?
A: It is an issue with older 3minit framework. Download Echoe3minit and the problem is solved.

Q: I have problems with email/alarm/live wallpaper/whatever app, could you please help me?
A: Download the necessary .apk file(s) from Deleted files in here http://www.mediafire.com/folder/mru89xyk9htzh/ECHOE_Slim_deleted_Files#dw0vdb9z3ydbh and copy paste it to system/app (overwrite, change permissions to rw-r-r, reboot). If unsure what .apk's to download, address your questions to Director Of EchoeSlim Development: @tschulieh
For stock email app, you need SecEmail_J.apk (and SecExchange.apk)
For live wallpaper, you need SecLiveWallpapersPicker.apk
For alarm to work with S-view flip cover (only v3.0 and below, not 3.1), you need ClockPackage.apk
S-VIEW FLIP COVER USERS - Please check if alarm works with s-view cover closed. If not, you're running slim version v3 or before and need to download the clockpackage.apk from deleted files and follow the instructions above. Reason for this is that SLIM versions prior v3.1 has ported clock app from SGS3 and thus does not support s-view.
Q: I'm using SLIM version of Echoe and there is no stock email app. Can I get it back and if yes, how?

my friend that tested the tmo version said it appeared when he flashed modem&apn and mk2 module for tmo? someone wana verify and sorry for first upload that was a muff not that anyone here had a problem? verizon ppls went nuts but alls working on this one someone double check it doesnt have wificalling and ill post that in the op thx!

\Please accept my apologiez, I got caught up on the word "porting" that I didn't know this was base on T-mo's latest FW, so it should have Wi-Fi Calling, I would gladly test But I still dont quite understand this installation Method:
install:
Unzip into your new SS backup dir into your backup Safestrap folder in a folder like gogolies-echoe12v3 make sure all files are simply in 1 folder and that folder is in your backup directory and restore to a ***blank/newly created or STOCK*** rom slot. I went super small as small as SS would allow for slot creation. If your getting an error on restoring be sure to try deleting the slot and re-adding it then restoring the system files. If your WiFi doesn't work try flashing MJ7 or MK2 SS modules but only flash modules after 1st booting up rom and knowing wifi isnt working. 1st boot takes time plz allow a minute after loading up 1st time.??
SS back up dir? Back Up SafeStrap?? ***blank/newly created or STOCK*** rom slot??

I'm excited about this, and the three other rom ports in your signature. But I'm also confused about how to install. Safestrap is totally new to me until this post. It may be a good thing to learn about, but for now I just like TWRP. If I'm reading right, it sounds like the TWRP installation method consists of downloading and unzipping a zip file that contains a nandroid backup which we are to restore in TWRP?

Not sure safestrap applies to us. It is for locked bootloaders. I don't think ours is locked. Not sure how to install these roms either.

sorry been offline working on somethings just figured out AFH messed up my last batch upload sorry guys. yes you install this via TWRP or philz (ive done both for my TMO friends). sorry I suppose just a .zip would work for you guys but this is the method now widely used by my followers...

I couldn't find an option to disable MD5 check in Phil's, so I installed latest TWRP 2.6.3.1 and it starts to restores til it fails on system... I guess I'll just wait for a zip to pop to try this Rom...

get a chance to try Nemesis 2.0 ? its a regular .zip install thru any custom recovery. for some reason the mods are refusing to let me post this really irritated. im quiting after that boys dont need the crap from them along with trying to keep up with 8 new roms and whatever their trying to tell me i was bricking phones i said no theres no kernel they said ok now their complainging about apns which i said should be not over ridden if so flash your modem with apns over and that these roms are universal so if your from a different carrier let me know which so i know its working and where thanks

this happens to me with all of his work.. and Support is almost none existent, Mods feel like he just posting this kinda of work everywhere just to collect donations, his threads are being close..

[ROM][I9505][AROMA] Samy Deluxe ROM - True Sound of Liberty (1.6.2015)

Thank you for your continuous interest in my work. I am happy to announce a new updated version of my Samy Deluxe ROM but please do not expect new versions on a daily basis. I release whenever I feel like and there is no masterplan or schedule I follow. As the Clash said, “the future is unwritten”, which means this could be the last Samy Deluxe update, or another step towards my world domination plan. Who knows?
First Samy Deluxe Release based on Android 5.0 Lollipop
This latest release is finally based on Android Lollipop but still fully adheres to my Samy Deluxe principles. No fancy-bull**** tweaks, no super-secret sauce is included, every element is straight to the point. It includes many (read carefully: not all!) Galaxy S6 features and apps, because I strongly believe this is what Samsung should have brought to all of its devices instead of forcing people to upgrade their hardware twice a year whenever Samsung releases a new flagship smartphone.
Since I am not a developer I haven’t been able to fully port all existing Galaxy S6 features. There are things missing which I am not able to fix.
I am also not including detailed instructions on how to flash this onto your Galaxy S4 because most people will not read it. If you were able to successfully flash a prior Samy Deluxe ROM version you will be able to do so again.
I installed the ROM pretty much like everybody else does. I copied the file to the internal disk, rebooted into recovery, went through the AROMA-Installer and kept my fingers crossed afterwards for a while since the very first boot up process takes an endless time.
I encourage everybody to take and modify this in every possible way and I neither don’t mind if you credit it or not, nor can I control what you are doing. Even though I must admit that I have some advanced mind control skills that will probably trick you into keep coming back here on a daily basis.
Or, to make a long story short: Use it!
Samy Deluxe ROM Questions & Answers
Do I have to full wipe before installation?
Yes, most probably you will get some errors so a full wipe (can be done via Aroma Installer) is recommended.
Do I have to flash a bootloader or modem?
Please use a Lollipop bootlader and modem if you encounter errors. Which one doesn't matter. Do not ask where to get them or how to flash. This is a development thread. Seak assistance in an appropriate thread - there is plenty of help here at XDA but you want everything directly served to you. Well, sorry but this is a "bring your own beer party"!
How often will you release updates and fixes?

After you choose "install zip" it is an option twoard the bottom. Uncheck that.

Also don't go back to 4.3?

I don't know about original 4.3 builds, all I can say is that I switched between 4.3 and 4.4 custom ROMs without a problem, but AGAIN: I don't know about official builds/stock odin packages.

Hello there , Did you use @friedrich420 rom as base mate? and why arent you giving him any credit or something. or your part of hes team? hehe and Sound setting is Fcing when i try to change the volume

I did use the SecSettings.apk that was posted here a couple of days ago. I credited the thread starter. If that was taken from somewhere else I am sorry and will credit as stated in my first post.
Volume works fine here and is no issue so I guess you must have dirty flashed or something.

Okay lets get this out of the way now. You need to post what release you are on when you report issues. There are many different releases and I cant/wont help you if you dont give me the information I need to help you.
FYI: I will not add native hotspot hack. There is a published mod on how to do it yourself. The reason why is below.
Sprint says if you want to tether then you must pay an additional fee for it. It is in your sprint contract if you want to look it up. Almost all mobile providers do this.
Read this which is what you agreeded to by getting service from Sprint.

Now they may not file charges and just terminate your service. It is in there power and right to file legal charges if they want to.
For users with power off charging issue!
You will need to upgrade your bootloader to NE2 for the power off charging to work. This will also give you a tripped Knox counter in download mode and void your warranty but if you flashed this or any other rom that you have already voided you warranty.

What is Community Rom. Well it is my own personal project that will take any and all help from our L900 users. I have started with the stock NE2 rom and will slowly evolve it into a S5/N3 rom. It will have all kinds of fixes, mods, tweaks, and themes from anyone who want to help.
Where the rom is right now.
Well the first Alpha release is basic. Pure stock NE2 except for the S5 systemUI.apk and root. I even forgot to remove KNOX in the first alpha. The stock samsung kb is giving constant FC's. Just push through the setup and then change to swipe kb (preinstalled) or whichever keyboard you like (the LG Keyboards do not work).

Flashing Instructions
1. Download rom and verify MD5sum
2. Place rom on phone (if not already)
3. Backup anything you need/want that is in your internal sdcard
3. Backup current rom
4. Factory reset/Format for new rom
5. Under mounts choose format /data /data/media (this is your internal sdcard)
6. Reboot into recovery
7. Flash rom and reboot
The first boot will take a long time so please wait. Also the phone will be a little sluggish for awhile (it has to setup itself).
If you have not taken the 4.3 or 4.4.2 OTA/ODIN and not flashed the wifi fix you will need to do so to be able to use wifi. This file must be flashed via Pc and Odin only. It will not work with mobile Odin.

How to check MD5
Use Es file explorer find your file and long press it. Now you will see a check beside the file. Press the more option on bottom bar and choose properties. On the popup window press show check sum and check the box for md5. Then press calculate. This should match the MD5 listed in the OP under your versions download link.

Aroma File Manager
Okay guys here is the meat for your philz recovery. Unzip the this and place in your clockwork folder on your external sdcard. It will work on your internal but if you wipe internal (like you should every flash) you will lose it. Once you place it there boot into recovery and double tap a blank part of the screen.
There is one tiny issue with this. Every so often when changing directories it will kind of hang. Dont worry if you see this just touch the screen and it will work.

Guess I would say this one. Only thing not working is samsung KB. If you can go without wifi or MMS then I would suggest S5-FEAT. I will be updating this tomorrow sometime hopefully. Giving it a quick once over with S5 apps and a few special things TBA.

Yes wifi works here. On both roms some users have reported a sim issue which I did get a couple of time. I then went to a different modem (ljc) and have yet to see it in the past 2 days.

Most likely the modem that works best for a person will depend on his/her area as well as coverage. You'll have to figure out on your own which modem works and performs best for you.

I'm in....I better get another N2 cause this one is gonna burn up real soon. No issue here yet with the sim message and I have NE2 modem flashed now.

Community Alpha 2 is going up shortly. It will stay in alpha stage till I get the N3 features ported over. Enjoy and check out change log.

You think the n3 features will be a flashable zip too? Still on beta 2.3 and seems solid. Had a few hiccups today but a reboot fixed it.

Yeah, I was thinking of switching over to this rom then adding the n3 features.
Only issue I had was in contacts. Wasn't showing them, then closing out. After I rebooted I also wiped cache and all seemed OK. Will try to replicate it and pay more attention then post in the thread provided.

I don't know if you already know or if I've flashed the updated rom wrong but I found your Alpha-2 download. I flashed it but can't get past the setup. the touchwiz homescreen fcs when you hit finish. I'm going to try dirty flashing over Alpha-1 and see if that helps any.
