Nope, some people have tried using a TRSS adapter in the past to no avail.
Get an iPhone and keep telling yourself it's an HTC One?
But he's correct there is no way to get them to work. Why not just use the ear buds that came with the One? I've found them to be quite good. Someone in another post a while back said they were unbranded beats earbuds. Idk if that's a fact or not. Judging from the sound quality I wouldn't be too surprised.
As far as I can tell, there aren't any headphones that have a working in line button set with the One. With the stock "Beats," the only function that works is the single click for pause/resume. Double clicking which usually skips to the next song simply dials the last person called on your phone. Very frustrating. Not even any third party button control apps seem to work.

I've being doing some reasrch on this myself over the last could pe of days. What you need is a TRRS IPhone to Nokia adapter.
This "should" make any Iphone headset turn into a single button Android compatible headset. Not that I've not tried it but the chances are that it will work. The fault here is that apple made a standard for themselves as is there way.

Personally as my old HTC headset broke I decided to purchase a Bluetooth one instead.

Hey guys,
Thanks a lot for ur help on this. As of now the inline mic works but the volume buttons dont. I'll jus get a new pair of Bluetooth ones which are compatible as the iPhone one jus won't work.

[q] help beats solo hd

I bought beats solo hd with control talk but they do not work with the HTC ONE? any solutions? :crying:
Are you sure that they are genuine?I have a long collection if beard including the solo hd and the button working good

fyi any beats headphones are only fully compatible with apple products since the pins on the connector are arranged differently from standard. for anything other than ios devices ONLY the pause/play button works..not the volume up/down , to remedy this there are plenty of apps in the play store that can help

You can purchase chords on Amazon for like $10 that are compatible with Android. I'm sure they're not actually Monster brand, but that shouldn't make much of a difference.
The HTC one isn't compatible with any headsets with control buttons. The only functionality you have with them is a single click pause/resume. For example, if you try double clicking the button on any headset, it will call the last person in your call log.

This is not true. If i connect the headset from my HTC Flyer I can skip a song or go to the previous one, play/pause, and scan a song forward and backwards. A long press results in a goolge speech search and 2 clicks call the last person. So it seems button control is possible.

Volume control in music app?

I used power amp for the first time using my 360 and it worked great showing album art previous and forwarding of tracks but I wish it had volume control. Am I missing this feature or is there a way to control it and I'm not seeing it?

There is a very simple solution to this my friend! Search up "Wear Mini Launcher" in the Google Play Store!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.npi.wearminilauncher&hl=en
Open it up on your device then do what it says on your watch! If you go all the way to the left it has direct volume controls and toggles which you can access from your watch to the device!
Happy PowerAmp'in! BTW I use PowerAmp too! Best ... music ... player PERIOD
I have this launcher installed already and I'm running power amp and don't see any volume control options. What am I doing wrong
Edit: I see it now thank you for this!

No problem! Glad I could help
Its pretty ridiculous that I have to download a launcher for volume control don't you think? Something as common as listening to music and being used away from your phone for a feature of volume control should definitely be in the stock build.

Yeah, I agree. Hopefully it'll be something integrated with the OS in later updates. Or updated by the official app

External 3.5mm ear jack IR remote control

Hi! I just bought an external 3.5mm ear jack universal IR remote control for android but I'm not sure how to make it works. When I'm using any IR universal remote apps, it says my phone does not support IR function. Can anyone tell me why or how to use it? I really appreciate your help. If you're not sure how it look, you can view the picture at the attachments.

Will borrow the thread since im having the same problem.
Have bought 2 diffrent 3.5 IR Blasters.
Both are supposed to work on android.
And most use it with Zazaremote
But i cant get any of them to work.. Dunno what setting to have?!
I bought this one from ebay http://www.mehone.com/
And a nother more simple/cheaper one.
Make sure, that you set max volume to 100% in advanced settings of zaza, and zaza sensivity, also in advanced settings
Click below on "ME", there settings, turn off auto detect and choose "ZAZA SMART". That should do it. Sensitivity to max, and media sound to max too.

Built-in flash light app from Moto

Not sure if I'm posting in the right place, sorry if it's not.
Okay so, doesn't matter if the phone in this case the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 from big Red is on or the screen is off. Holding either volume up or down and shaking the phone side to side, activates the back flash [emoji3] . Same motion deactivates it. How cool. Don't know if this was known before to people, same thing may work with other Motorola models not sure only have this one.
Hope this helps and enjoy.

I think you are just activating the Chop Twice function of Moto Actions. Has nothing to do with volume button.

Yeah, called chop chop.
Works on most Moto phones.

Ah so people do know about it. Cool. Sorry for wasting everyone's time.

Twist the phone twice to activate the camera. You can find the options to enable/disable in the Moto app.
Yeah the camera one I know.
