Hi,
I am using a Moto360 with my Xperia Z2 in Macau China. I have a UK Google play store account and have turned on Google Now cards.
What I can't seem to figure out is how to spoof "Location based reporting"? When I try to turn it on, I get the message that Location based reporting is not available in my region: Macau.
I want to use Google Fit with the Moto360, but it won't happen unless somebody has some advice. Google Now is not officially supported in Macau either, but that was easy to fake. Do I need to do the same process? I don't want to lose my Google Now access!
Any advice gratefully received.

[Q] PlayStation.pocket - "This service is not available in your country/region"- FIX?
Hey all. I'm an American that is currently in Uganda, Africa handling some business. I'll be here for a number of months and I ordered a contract-free Xperia Play 4G (r800at) from AT&T and SIM-unlocked it through AT&T customer service for use with the "Orange" network. Then I unlocked the bootloader and reflashed it with the North American generic 4.0.2.A.0.42, and afterwards I rooted it. So that's where I stand currently.
Anyway, the phone works fine on the Orange network for SMS and voice, and we also have a WiFi network where I am staying. I connect to the WiFi for Market downloads, Facebook browsing, etc.
So I want to get on the PlayStation pocket store and download some games to play (it only has Crash Bandicoot through PSP), but when I try to connect to it, I receive the error message in the title.
Seeing as how I have an unlocked and rooted phone, is there any way to spoof my location to make it think I'm in the US or some other region which allows the store? If not, can one of you awesome individuals consider it a daunting challenge and try to find a solution? OR, does anyone know of a website where I can download games via the PC and then somehow get them on my XP4G? Please get back to me. I've downloaded a number of games from the market but I'm in the mood for some actual PlayStation titles, which is why I got the phone.
I have the same problem here in Brazil. I was able to overpass the download limit through apk downloader. It basically allows you to download apps through your computer, overruling the country limitations.
It worked for me with Last FM and Google Music. Unfortunately, eeven after downloading the apps, I'm still not able to use both since they have service limitations.
Hope it works better for you!
Device: Note 8.0
I have a friend of mine that was asking me for some help. He is in the US Air Force and stationed in Okinawa and can't get the playstore to recognize his US address which is an APO address. We tried psiphon and clearing all the play store data but it still defaults to the Japan play store.
He just got the device and it isn't rooted, do we have to root to be able to make this work or did they just make it much harder to change regions? I think this is a justifiable reason to change region.
If it does have to be rooted anyone have a recommendation of a ROM that is easy to do for someone with little experience and can be done through a Mac as that is all he has over there.
Hi All
I like in a Country that doesn't have Google Now, Location services etc enabled. Is there any point in me getting this watch? Will it work without Google Now? Obviously, it won't provide contextually aware notifications, but everything else should function fine right?
Thanks, Bob

I live in a country that Google Now is enabled but I don't use it.
So I don't have the customized notifications and results when I use "OK Google" on my device.
But the great power of the device is the notifications from apps. This is the best part and the main reason to get it. I haven't regretted using the device the past weeks.

Good to know.
Thanks for the quick response.
Looks like I'm getting a cool Christmas present!!
I've had my SSW3 for a few days now, I've slept with it, been running with it, and Google Fit collects the data on the watch. However, Google Fit does not upload to the website or the phone, I think this is because Google Location Reporting isn't available (we all have Google Now it seems!!).
Any tips on getting my steps from my watch, to my phone, to the internet?
Im also dont have google now in my country, but i enable It whith a Italiano or England SIM card and It works nice will my SONY SW3 . You can find some tutorials how to enable google now on non suported country on web

Google Now isn't the issue, it's the location reporting. This can't be faked it seems.
I think you have to set searchlanguage to English US.
I have set searchlanguage to "English US" and got voicesetting or speechsetting set to "Dutch". Now it seems to work best. Like "Navigate to.......(Dutch adress)" works now.
hello
i have the galaxy s9 sm-g960f my problem is that neither of Google or Samsung pay is available here is there any way to make them work?
without root?
i downloaded them through apkmirror
(google pay is not gonna work due to the lack of bank support but about Samsung pay, there is paypal as an option)
Sorry, nope. I have had a problem with my German phone with 2 German SIM cards and Google Pay. It was available in another country, where I too have bank accounts, but not in Germany. I've exchanged a million e-mails with Google Support and no solution worked. Once Google Pay was introduced in Germany, I could add my foreign card and no problem further on. Therefore it will be the same for Samsung Pay - can't use it either way.

Google online chat is for trash since I was trying to talk to them without any luck they weren't able to help me, my first problem was that Google play was deleting itself for no reason ...Google answered to that and they said that I am on the unsupported country this is why! ...then I found that I was using an old version because apk mirror did not say that there were newer versions available after that I used Boon contactless app and set up a card...since here in Cyprus there is no 3D secure card I found that the card app maybe is an option I will have to wait until 1st of January since I exited my card limit then I am gonna update to you if I was able to make it fully work!!
And sorry for my bad English
Hi all,
I post here as I have a Pixel 6Pro, but it is a general question.
I live in a country where Google Play/Wallet is not officially available.
This means that I cannot use my phone to do payments through NFC.
I have a local bank account and a Revolut account (with a Lituanian IBAN, which in theory should work with Google Play/Wallet).
Could someone explain me if the problem of not having Google Play/Wallet working in my country is related to Google or if it due to my bank? I complained for years with my bank, but nothing is happening (and it seems that no other local bank can make it working).
Does someone know any possible work around to finally use NFC payments on my phone?
Thanks!
I don't have the out-of-country issue, but, my bank doesn't work with Google Wallet, only Samsung Pay & Apple Play.
I'd start out with calling your bank & ask if any of the three (Google Wallet/Samsung Pay/Apple Pay) are used.
Find supported payment methods - United States - Google Wallet Help
Important: To make contactless purchases with Google Wallet, you must have an Android phone with Near Field Communication (NFC). You can use your phone to pay wherever contactless payments are accept

To quickly search for your bank or card, use Ctrl + f. Banks Supported cards Unsupported ca
support.google.com
If your country is supposed to be supported for Google Wallet (per the links listed above), & you've already reached out to your bank, I'd take it up with Google, see if they can help.
Thank you Koliosis, but my bank keeps repeating they are working on it.
Would changing the payment profile make any difference?
Indeed if I go to https://pay.google.com/gp/w/home/paymentmethods I have three profiles, the one of my residence country and two others from other countries where, in the past years, I bought Google devices (Pixel and Android TV or Chromecast). Does anybody know what switching profile would entail?
Thanks!
