hi guys,
ive noticed that i am having bad playback issues with bluetooth using a external speaker.the audio itself keeps dropping in and out randomly.i didnt notice this on kit kat as i didnt have the phone long before it was upgraded to lollipop.
is anybody noticing this and have any ideas?
i checked the speaker using my trusty old lg gpad 8.3 and all is fine there.hoping this is just a lollipop issue.
thanks
I and many others have the same issue.
It's an LG related software issue. Some speculated it was a Lollipop bug. It is not as I have Lollipop devices that have no such issue.
Best option now is to make LG immediately aware of the bug.
We can't assume they know about it or it may take many months to solve.
I'm unsure how best to make them aware of the bug.
Will research shortly. If you find a method to submit the issue first please post it asap.
The more of us that submit the issue the faster it will be solved.
Regards
Ketzal

Hello,
so I'm with my 3th GNex now! with the 1st one the USB Port suddently stopped working properly. The 2nd one had a flawed display (had it for only 3 days but did notice the same problem with my 3th one)
My 3th one is okay but there is one problem: After 3 secs of any sound being played I can here a clicking/poppping sound coming from my speaker. This is very annoying when I've the normal Touchsounds on (I disabled them because of this...)
So I searched on google a bit and many users seem to have the same problem ( http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=22307 ).
It seems to be unclear if this is a hard- or software issue.
So I wanted to ask you guys do you have this issue aswell? Is there a fix for this? Hard- or software issue, what do you think? Should I again exchange my phone for a new one risking it to have a even louder clicking sound?!

I had this same issue and I can safely say its software related. If you flash Francos latest kernel he has this issue fixed. If your unrooted I'm not too sure what options you might have (apart from exchanging the device again?).

Weird. I don't use his nightlies, have you tried M2?

m2 doesnt even have the fix.

are you sure you dont have it? play any sound in a quiet room and listen closely. i only noticed it after reading about it and checking for it... shouldnt have done that. and the volume seems to vary from day to day
Nope didn't have it. Played some music tracks and listened to the touch sounds. Didn't got any clicking sounds after that.

This has been discussed at length here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1490335
Keep in mind that this happens on many devices. For the people who say they don't hear it, perhaps they don't know what to listen for or perhaps they are just lucky and their particular device isn't affected by the problem.

If that's actually the case then it must have been fixed in CM9 as I definitely had this issue.
Hey G3 clan, I usually solve my own issues but this one has me stumped... Need a lifeline here.
I get this error every so often...I'm tracking things down now to see if an app is causing it. The annoying thing is that Bluetooth isn't even on!!
Has anyone seen this issue?

Yep, I'm all rooted.....with no special Bluetooth mods, I tend to stay away from Bluetooth mods...Too sensitive to touch, that why this is irking me! I have tracked it down (maybe) to my add on music player apps namely PlayerPro

which g3 do you have?
At&t lg g3 d850
hi
I got same problem Bluetooth has stopped att d850 i had it on original and having same thing on rooted tryed dalvik art still same
my device is LG-G3-D855.
after upgrading the software to android 5.0 from LG PC Suit, and after a day passed, I noticed that my auto-rotation is not working, and the proximity sensor is not responding during a call and the screen remains active.
I tested the sensors through hidden menu and saw that they are actually working and they are not stocked.
what is the solution? is it a software problem?
I also did downgrade the OS to the stock one and the problem still remains.
I'm sorry I am not able to help, but I am able to tell you I came to the forums today to post the exact same issue.
I had been using Liquid and CM12 for a while and my proximity sensors and brightness sensors (as well as screen turning off when I bring phone to my ear) were not working. I simply assumed it was an AOSP problem.
I just recently flashed the new stock lollipop rom that's on the development forum and I am having the same problem still. I do not know how to fix it and I'm hoping someone out there can help us!
edit: everytime I try to recalibrate the proximity sensor in settings, settings 'unexpectantly closes'

Have you had any luck on finding a solution to this? I've been in the same boat for a couple months now.

Dang, same thing on my end. I've tried several different Roms/Kernels and still nothing. If I find a solution, I'll be sure to let you know!
Bump
Im having this issue as well. Anyone?
I've just resolved the same issue. No matter ROM I flashed to my LG G3 all the sensors were gone. The only thing it fixed that was flashing TOT using lg flash. More details on : htt ps: //forum.xda-developers. com/showthread .php?t= 2785089
ADD: The updated method worked for me NOT the original one.
Fingers crossed.
Hi I have a Nexus 7 first generation and recently I did 2 things:
- replaced the broken USB port
- and right after I have updated the software version to 5.1 (OTA update)
Soon after I've noticed an intermittent issue with the sound on some apps.
Is working for a while than after it stops working then later it works again, and so on (in apps, with youtube, or other app).
I can't pinpoint what the issue is, is it a hardware issue or a software issue. I tend to believe it might be a software issue, but not sure.
I did clear the Dalvin cache from recovery but the issue still persists.
Has anyone else encountered this kind of weird issue?
Anyone?

Wrong forum. This is for the Nexus 7 2nd gen.
Oh.. Can someone move this to the appropriate forum area, please?
My problem is, Using BT-Headsets is not possible: I can connect them and use them, but the connection seems to be bad and it´s not possible to really use it.
Is there any fix on Lollipop 5.1.1 vor Z1C?
Edit: solved. Installed an app "Xperia Bluetooth Media Fix".
Can be found in Google Play store.
Edit: unsolved: Seems I just had a lucky day yesterday. Today I´m facing the bluetooth problems again.

He posted an EDIT at the bottom of the post
I am having the exact same problem, and that terrible fix they posted on google play is a pointless joke. I have a pair of blueant pumps that work just fine with my old xperia play, I actually upgraded the Z1 compact to lollipop hoping it would fix the intermittent audio cutting-out issue. NOPE! the fix loads your Bluetooth, then kills it then loads the fix every damned time you boot your headphones, they couldn't be bothered to post a hotfix to the rom or a rom with the fix built into it? and it still doesn't fix the intermittent issues of the sound going out if I stick the phone in my khaki pants- yes super thin and it still cuts out- or even simply holding the phone by its bottom half it makes the sound cut out- perhaps my hands must be magical? or made of lead?absolutely unbearable to try and listen with BT I assume the bt module is some new type that is really weak=cheap or perhaps a newer incompatible version?.
so has no one else encountered this issue? I have searched for days with no answer other than the solution to dump this phone.
