[Q] D885 version, soft brick? - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I have an G3 (D885) that sundenly when it was on my pocket vibrated and died.
When I try to turn it on, it keeps the screen of and the led keep changing color. I've tried to enter download mode and install the stock firmware but it does not show anything on the screen, but in the computer I can get the COM41 working but the methods for flashing fail.
I know that the screen is ok, if I plug the phone without the battery it goes on and show that the battery is not present for everything else it keep off.
Can someone help me?

[Q] SGS2 Won't Start

Anyone have this problem? No matter what I do, screen stays black. No vibrate, no samsung logo, no recovery, no download mode.
Battery is fully charged, all I did was reboot the phone and it turned off and stayed off. Pulled the battery and reinserted, still nothing.
Anyone? Help?
are you able to boot into CWR or Download mode for Odin?
if so then just flash a new ROM and full Wipe
I can't get to anything. Just stays black. When I plug it into my computer, it shows up as something called QHSUSB_DLOAD
Did a little research. I think you are straight up bricked. That sucks.
Did you have it rooted or anything? You might want to call samsung and get it replaced it fixed. You could always try a jig
what rom were you on?

Sounds like LGFlashTool is the answer. Seems your stuck in a pretty common bootloop that could've been caused by any number of things, most likely a faulty build.prop value possibly altered by an app with root access. If you can get in to download mode you haven't hard bricked it yet. If you can get into the factory recovery I would suggest trying to boot it in safe mode before restoring to factory. Also if you're familiar at all with ADB, try to see if your device is recognized during that black screen phase and pull everything you can save to your computer for later. Use the Restore to Factory TOT method about midway down the first post of this thread:

Be sure to use that method for the Verizon variant.

[Q] Please Help, Hard Bricked lg optimus g pro e988

The phone is showing black screen after i flashed exitrecovery.zip file since i got stuck into a recovery bootloop and right after when i pressed reboot button in twrp phone died. Have i got the phone hard bricked?? :crying:
What i have tried so far is pressing various keys combination and nothing is happening, tried to get into download mode but right after putting the usb cable connected with pc into phone it gives a notification sound but doesn't shows anything on phone screen :crying:
I also tried to flash the stock rom with lg flash tool 2014 with kdz file but it reaches to a point in the beginning and it gives an error message that the "phone isnt connected pull out the cable and retry" and after pressing retry few times it gets stuck at 60%
Please help, is there a way to get out of this :crying:
When something similar happened to my Galaxy S4, I charged it to 100% first. Then I tried flashing the stock image back to it twice. The first time did not seem as if it completed. Second time was the charm. I know the phones are different but the symptoms are identical.

[HELP] HTC desire 820u hard brick help

Do I have to buy a new phone?
I know it's too far ahead now, but did you get out of it.
My device is in the same position.

interesting Oneplus 3 issue

So, the phone works, but when it turns on, nothing displays at first, no logo or loading animation. but, once its fully tuned on, everything shows again. now, the real issue... I cant get into recovery mode, or anything to try and get it factory rest or flash new firmware on it to fix the issue, because the screen displays nothing when I'm trying to access recover menus. it just stays black until i disconnect the batter and let it turn back on normally all the way.... tried some research and did the usual black out issues... but nothing.
any help would be great thnx!
