How to install
1. Install recovery by xuefy cwm-recovery installer
2. Open it and select "install recovery", you must rooted!
3. Select "reboot into recovery" to launch recovery, or press volumn keys when you rebooting
4. Select "choose zip from /mnt/ext_sdcard " to install miui rom, don't choose from sdcard/ （don't wipe data）
5. Reboot your device

- Update to the latest 3.11.22 MIUI code , please refer to MIUI official update log
- Removal of part of the interface pops up 2 Open Open mode selection ( ie original option removed )

Note : OTA upgrade to 3.11.15 , and is not included Unicom come and repair some electrical problems can not display the contact's name , you need a complete package heavy brush , or use the RE Manager into cust / directory, files deleted unicom folder , and copy the folder to the current path channel and named unicom, then restart, so that you can solve

- Update to the latest 3.11.8 MIUI code , please refer to MIUI official update log
- Update package to the end of the latest EmotionUI B117
- Fix long press can not select text to copy and paste the problem and increase the MIUI clipboard

OT:My B118 rooted fine with eRoot, just had to reinstall Superuser app.

Im pretty sure i already made a compatible GAPPs for the P6. I'll upload it when i get to my computer.
Looks like your using my modified recovery installer? Haven't checked the recovery itself but the installer is my translated version.

By default there is no Play Stare and other Google's apps with it. You may flash additional gapps from goo.im.

Whatsapp not working here as well. I rely on whatsapp as most my friend using it. Not sure if it's only happens with this rom or general problem to MIUI v5?

Huawei Emotion UI 2.0 - Beta apps leaked - Dec 31st HuaweiNews

N.B. Although Root is not required to install these APKs I highly recommend that you copy and save their equivalents IN CASE there are permission clashes!
There are reports that this happens with some of them although they say P6 should have no problems.

Music app works fine. but you need root to add it to system/app
It removes online music support if you enabled it from build.prop

Where do you find the system/app folder??

Download Root Explorer and go to System/App.
P.S. Must be rooted.

[MOD] 4.4.2 Multilanguages - update Asia Dual-SIM Multilang Pack

For the US 4.4.2 rom there is a modification from S0bes which is contains more than 30 new language optional.
For those who have the UK 4.4.2 KitKat rom there is the Multilanguage pack, which is a flashable zip. Originally the modification is made for the mobilarena.hu Motorola Moto G community, and first contained only the Hungarian language but I decided that is possible to add the majority of languages (37 new language)
Flash via custom recovery - with install zip command.
Made for the 177.44.9-es retail.en.GB ROM If you flash any other official rom you may have a bootloop!

I try with unlocked bootloader and custom recovery - corrected the first post. The root is not necessary. You must flash the 174.44.9 retail.en.GB rom to use this pack.

In case you "flash back" the official firmware and update the phone. If roll out a new update in OTA - I wont make a new Multilangual pack, only when the new firmware will be upload in the sbf "storage" and there is a chance to flash the rom with motofastboot.

I dont no, becuse the Motorola not released the nem update for the retail.en.GB rom. Maybe: yes is the answer for your question. Therefore, be sure you flash back the original firmware.

In the Hungarian forum asked me try to prepare a Multilang pack. Yesterday I made a .zip for the KXA20.16-1.25 161.44.25.ghost_row.Retail.en.US verzion rom. Now currently being tested. I am a difficult situation because I haven't got X, but I hope the zip will be work - after that I share .

I will try if it works, even if i would need for TMO version.
If it doesn't, I would like to do it by my self; any chance to have some help from you?

I used this XDA Guide for decompile, edit, add the necessery values, xml folders and the .xmls within, then recompile the apps. Earlier apktools didn't work to recompile the apps.
This is the apps that you need:

Fantastic!! Why not to use all the apps from european firmware? This could let working active screen and touchless control, isn't it?
I know that those apps have limited language translation, but anyway some more than US firmware.
I'm running now on a european firmware and languages and all the apps are fine. I would like anyway to use us_retail firmware and this mod on my US devices.

Which languages contains this firmware? To tell the truth I received the US rom files, I had the Nexus 4 files - that I used this for the Moto G.

Could someone please share Huawei Ascend P6 FM radio tuner and Huawei Backup apps?
I have upgraded my Huawei Ascend P1 to CyanogenMod 10.1 (Android 4.2.2) and I am missing those apps very much. I wonder, whether perhaps it would be possible to use the ones from Ascend P6 (the ones from Ascend P1 (Android 4.0.3) will not even install on the 4.2.2 firmware).
I am not sure if it is ok to share those apk's here (although I am sure ther would be others who would want those apps), but in any case you can PM the links to me.

Even if some one will share these apk noone from these apk will work on CM.
CM is not based on stock huawei roms.

Thank you, I did not expect those to work (they come from 4.4.2, but I think I need 4.2.x apk's) but I tried anyway. Well, they did not work, they did not even appear in the app list and they did not install the regular way.
Maybe someone has the apk's from Jelly Bean, Android 4.2.2? Isn't that the stock version for Ascend P6?

in app section there is huawei update extrction tool.
Maybe that can help u.
If i get it right
download tool
download update app
and extract system.img to any folder
.img open with winrar and drop out nesecurry apks.
let me know if it works !

The backup file is the same as the one used on 4.2.2, as it is updated in the huawei app store.
Either way, I highly doubt you'll even get the 4.2.2 FM radio to work.

To extract the files in system.img, you'll need to use a 4ext extractor.

That turned out to be true, unfortunately.
I downloaded the Huawei Ascend P6 rom from Huawei website, extracted the UPDATE.APP file using regular zip program, then extracted the 10.system.img file using the tool mentioned here before - Huawei Update Extractor (on Windows). Then I mounted the 10.system.img file on Linux using simple command

sudo mount -o loop 10.system.img android-system/
the file mounted as an ext4 filesystem.
There, in app/ folder, I found all the programs. I tried to install three of those - HwAllBackup.apk, HwFMRadio.apk and HwDLNA.apk.
The first two failed to install, the third installed but crashed after launch. The default DLNA app from stock P1 rom (ics 4.0.3) does work on my CyanogenMod firmware (specs in a post above).
So, thank you everyone who helped me in this test.
Streaming radio - I wonder, how much bandwidth does it consume?

If you use Tunein Radio, for example, I advise you to use it only if you have an unlimited data plan or a WIFI connection.

I dont know where to write, so i try here. Can somebody post the original 4.4.2 Music app, etc... Like when EmoiUI 2.0 leaked?

It seems to be identical with B513, which is intended for South Pacific (according to that german site). Nonetheless, let's find out if there is something different

Color temperature option is back...I flashed it over b511.

just updated to B512 from B511 with local update. Apps etc are there... See if there is any change.

Method to flash via local update:
1) Unzip
2) Put UPDATE.APP in dload folder of your sd card.
3) Settings > Updates > System Updates > Localupdate > backup..
4) Wait and you are done!

Just an update..
Looks quite fluid , GPS fix is faster and stable. Swype is not laggy with power saving profile..
Anyone knows how to fix the problem of Not able to use Enterprife WPA wifi .??i could use it with B606 which came with jellybean!.. but not anymore

Yes, it's back.but you need to root it again and fix the build prop for notification and startup manager.
It looks ok for now, will see how it works in a few days.

I flashed it over B513. Didn't notice any difference comparing to 513. Same battery life, etc...

Note, is a full flash so do your back up because will erase
Very smooth though...

From Paranoid to 512
Hi,
while Surdu is on holiday (he deserved that) I'd somehow like to try 512 official rom.
I'm on Surdu's 4.45 Paranoid and am afraid that something goes wrong.
Have installed TWRP 2.7.1.0. and before that I was on 510 stock rom.
Can anybody explain shortly:
- do I have to flash stock recovery.image and boot.image (510 Kitkat)
- while fastboot mode( and eventually moving back to stock recovery and boot image) are clear to me I don't know what would be next step after that,..from where can I flash 512 then?
Thank you for any hint (don't actually want to bother Surdu while he is having free time).

It is very easy.
1) Copy B512 dload directory with UPDATE.APP and UPDATE.APP.asc to SD card.
2) Reboot into the bootloader, here flash boot.img and recovery.img from B510 with fastboot commands.
3) Then write "fastboot reboot" and at the same time when the phone reboot and see black screen hold VOL + / VOL and disconnect the USB cable.
That is all.

B510 is still only KitKat rom what dosnt have "media scanner bug".. annoying to have chinese letters in artist names in all music players (ä and ö letters are chinese symbols)

Those letters are common in German language too(Fräuelin, möglich, übermensch...)
But, I never had those symbols unless it's some german artist or a certain song that's playing along.Weird issue.
Did you flashed some chinese roms before?

Tested all Chinese roms and all had this issue. then flashed B510 and problem was fixed. but it's back in B513 & B512

Maybe some leftovers from those chinese roms, who knows.I have never flashed a chinese rom, only international ones.

I just can't tell you how happy I am to get my colour temperature slider back! Absolutely.
And the new Huawei Swype is marvelous. Very happy bunny.
