N.B. Although Root is not required to install these APKs I highly recommend that you copy and save their equivalents IN CASE there are permission clashes!
There are reports that this happens with some of them although they say P6 should have no problems.

Music app works fine. but you need root to add it to system/app
It removes online music support if you enabled it from build.prop

Where do you find the system/app folder??
Download Root Explorer and go to System/App.
P.S. Must be rooted.

how do you make sure that when you do a full wipe that the internal storage is not wiped

Install the rom, it will all be installed during setup wizard and it does the automatic syncronisation

I have upgraded my Huawei Ascend P1 to CyanogenMod 10.1 (Android 4.2.2) and I am missing those apps very much. I wonder, whether perhaps it would be possible to use the ones from Ascend P6 (the ones from Ascend P1 (Android 4.0.3) will not even install on the 4.2.2 firmware).
I am not sure if it is ok to share those apk's here (although I am sure ther would be others who would want those apps), but in any case you can PM the links to me.

in app section there is huawei update extrction tool.
Maybe that can help u.

download tool
download update app
and extract system.img to any folder
.img open with winrar and drop out nesecurry apks.

The backup file is the same as the one used on 4.2.2, as it is updated in the huawei app store.
Either way, I highly doubt you'll even get the 4.2.2 FM radio to work.

That turned out to be true, unfortunately.
I downloaded the Huawei Ascend P6 rom from Huawei website, extracted the UPDATE.APP file using regular zip program, then extracted the 10.system.img file using the tool mentioned here before - Huawei Update Extractor (on Windows). Then I mounted the 10.system.img file on Linux using simple command

the file mounted as an ext4 filesystem.
There, in app/ folder, I found all the programs. I tried to install three of those - HwAllBackup.apk, HwFMRadio.apk and HwDLNA.apk.
The first two failed to install, the third installed but crashed after launch. The default DLNA app from stock P1 rom (ics 4.0.3) does work on my CyanogenMod firmware (specs in a post above).
So, thank you everyone who helped me in this test.
Streaming radio - I wonder, how much bandwidth does it consume?
If you use Tunein Radio, for example, I advise you to use it only if you have an unlimited data plan or a WIFI connection.

you dont need to downgrade to B508... local update it will work

Thanks for rom,works even smoother than original one,finally got rid of the chinese useless apps.
btw motion control work fine.Recommend to install,I've installed on official B708 via local update.

maps 9.2.0 works if enter to create ,, direction,, widget and even if u cancel creation of the widget you can open google maps.

It seems that you can not log on using Huawei account in music app to download music online. I think the region is still in Chinese region not in US or international.
Hi guys. I have a problem with this rom. When i choose my serbian language on keyboard it's mixed with serbian latin and serbian cyrilic letters. Is there any way to instal cyrilic locale on this rom and within the aosp keyboard??

Yes bro I agree with you! I used android N-ify in marshmallow which has most of the nougat features including google assistant.

Paste code in build.pro
Download apk and paste it to system/app
Restart
Long press home button starts google now

Clear the data of google app and try once again or else move the google app to /system/priv-app

You can use Lucky Patcher, select the app then tap on "Move to /system/app"

It should work then, even I had the same issue but after updating, it's working like a charm.
Have you moved Pixel Launcher to system apps?
Did you update Google App from 3rd party or from Play Store?

It says no space available when I try to convert it to system app. What should I do ?
I am using cm 14.1 (fefi ) version

What I did was :
Install Pixel Launcher, move it to system.
Install Google App, move it to system
Update Build.prop
(I used Kernel Adiutor to update it, Open KA, goto Buil prop Editor, click on that small (+) symbol, select "Add", in "Key" add the name like "ro.xxx.xxx" and in value "Enable" and enter both the attributes. Done there.)
Restart
Update Google App from play store.

You can uninstall (delete) useless system apps from /System/App and /System/Priv-App since the memory allocated to the system is really small in your case mostly, changing which is really a tedious work to do.
You can do:
Install Google Keyboard and delete default Keyboard (folder named as LatinMe)
Remove FM Radio
Remove "AntHAL" if you don't use fitness devices
Remove CM File Manager, instead you can use ES File Explorer Pro
Install Chrome and remove default Browser.

What gapps did you use bro! Use open gapps pico version. I was left with some 70 mb of system space after I flashed it (without removing any apps).

I couldn't even install newer version of open gapps so I had to flash another one (which I don't know from where I got it) and I also installed pixel launcher in the system.

I uninstalled some system apps and tried to make Google app as system app and it failed again. And when I checked my root directory it was full (only leaving 4bits)
i Got it working even with screen off using the xposed module assistant enabler on latest RR build.
not able to flash nano gapps due to linsufficient storage, so flashed pico
1. flashed the cm 13 bloatware removal zip - http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...systemless-t3351040/post69709349#post69709349
2. flashed the google app zip from the nougat thread- http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/guide-how-to-enable-google-assistant-t3477879
foollow the steps specified in the module.
everythong works well even with SCREEN OFF

Tell us if you had it working on cm 14 and above roms. Coz this tweak is exclusively for android 7.0 and above

I don't know about cm14 as I'm still on RR marshmallow. And I've mentioned only to flash Google app not other files from that thread
