Hello guys, sorry for my english in advance.
I just bought a 6200mAh battery for my note 2, is my phone showing real percentage of battery? it charged close as fast as the original battery to 100% which doesnt seem right. Do I have to do something to let the phone know it has bigger battery now, or should i charge it even though it says 100%? Thanks for answer.

Hey guys, new to the forum. I'm have some battery issues with my Nexus, had the phantom charging thing and replaced whole usb charging board, then it was ok, theeen , it only charge til 50%, 60% if i'm lucky. Bought then battery pack and a wall battery charger. The problem is my Nexus reads the new fully charged batterys as full. Looks like it remembers the last battery level of charge and well, it thinks its not charged, so it shuts off like at 3%. Could it be the battery gauge not resetting or anything? Can it be done manually like in the S2? Thanks in advance
I was considering getting an extra battery for my S3 that i can charge up and slip in my wallet since it is thin enough and then plug it in my galaxy if my main battery ever dies and im not around a power source. Now if anyone knows how long the battery would hold a charge just sitting in my wallet please share and also if anyone knows the discharge rates or if there is a discharge graph that shows how much charge the battery would hold over time not plugged in the phone. This is my first time ever using a forum in my life so forgive me if im doing this process all wrong. Thanks guys!
I bought the zerolemon battery and have been using it for a while. So my stock battery was left on the table for about a month or so now. Pretty sure the battery was full when I took the stock battery out now. I just put my stock battery in my phone just now and see how much battery was left and there is 94%. Hope this helps.
Yes that helped a lot in because know i know what to expect from my spare battery. Thank you very much :good:

hi,
Does draining your battery life until its off before charging a good way?
I remember when I bought this phone the sales rep told me to never ever drain the batt and make sure to charge it when 20% or less.

Maybe once a month. But remember, it;s good to always charge your phone, even if you charge it half an hour, one hour, or fully charged. This way you keep the battery alive.
From what i read, you should usually avoid draining it full or charging it full. But once in a while do so for some calibration purpose.
thanks!
Hi!
The best way ( if you can ) is to power-off your device and than connect to the charger ! - assuming you have less of 10% .
Also is recommended for a battery long life, fully discharge the battery every two or three months !
On the other hand it is not wrong to charge the phone when you think , no matter how the battery indicator shows ! - this type of battery should not be formatted on beginning, cause is not a Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd type !

20%-80% is best fir li-ion/ li+-pol batterys. But I dont do that coz as it is the battrry does not last. I rather charge to 100% and replace battery along the line.
b.t.w. if the battery shows 0%, the battery is far from dead. just the internal circuit cutting the power off
thank you guys!
