I think you'll fine but it will take longer time to charge as the Note charger has higher amp
Charging slower is fine, just don't want it to stuff up / shorten the battery life.
Just that I've being feeling that my battery seems shorter standby/use time now..
Maybe becoz started using google now?
Also is there any ways to maintain the battery life? Does discharging still work?

Hey
To my knowledge its best to charge these new batteries often... it was in the old days that it was best to let the batteries discharge completely, before recharging... I've heard that this might even harm the new generation of batteries...
- Bobo
Yes I came across the same info when I was using my HTC one x --> charge as often.
So same for our SGN2
= charge often, no need to discharge method.
Now can anyone confirming that google now drains power more than expected?
Somehow I was getting more than 1 day of life before but now with same usage my battery can bearly make it to the next morning?
If you want a fast charge, find yourself a Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire HD charger.
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
So these chargers will charge faster and not harm our note2 battery?
Any perticular voltage or watts to look for on these chargers?

Thank you, the battery life depends on repeatedly charging and discharging frequency, so should try to avoid more charge when the battery power, this will shorten the service life of the battery. Mobile phone off time more than 7 days, should first will phone the battery to completely discharge, enough electricity before use

No that's just wrong!
Phone off, leave the battery atleat 50% charged.
Do not completely discharge the battery if you can charge before it's 0%
It was true for NIMH batteries, but it's a long time since we had those kinds of battery, and ofcourse NiCd batteries.
yep, what rvenes mention should be the go = no need to discharge (drain battery to 0 and full charge).
simply charge as often as possible, not letting it fall below 50%.

HTC charger should work fine.
You can charge with the computer too, usb, but it takes longer time.
Hi
I have problem with charging while using my phone. It simply doesn't charge. Is it normal? I was used to charge while playing some game or browsing net on wifi. I am on PACman ROM v21 and KT747 Kernel(3.14.2013). Thanks for help
are you using the charger that came with your phone? And the battery too? It should charge slower during use than if it is off and charging due to the screen taking alot of power. But it shouldn't not charge at all unless its under a huge heavy load. Check your battery and charger.
Hit thanks if I helped.
yeah, I use original battery and charger too... When connected charger and browsing or playing games it's !discharging! This is happening for 3 weeks now I guess.

Sounds like your battery might be bad. If you have a spare battery, try it and see if the problem persists. If you don't, download some kind of battery monitor app and see if it gives a bad status for your battery.
app called Battery gives battery status Good and Gsam Battery monitor too. Could it be something else? And I don't have spare battery, maybe when I meet my cousin with SGS III...
hi,
Does draining your battery life until its off before charging a good way?
I remember when I bought this phone the sales rep told me to never ever drain the batt and make sure to charge it when 20% or less.

Maybe once a month. But remember, it;s good to always charge your phone, even if you charge it half an hour, one hour, or fully charged. This way you keep the battery alive.
From what i read, you should usually avoid draining it full or charging it full. But once in a while do so for some calibration purpose.
thanks!
Hi!
The best way ( if you can ) is to power-off your device and than connect to the charger ! - assuming you have less of 10% .
Also is recommended for a battery long life, fully discharge the battery every two or three months !
On the other hand it is not wrong to charge the phone when you think , no matter how the battery indicator shows ! - this type of battery should not be formatted on beginning, cause is not a Ni-Mh or Ni-Cd type !

20%-80% is best fir li-ion/ li+-pol batterys. But I dont do that coz as it is the battrry does not last. I rather charge to 100% and replace battery along the line.
b.t.w. if the battery shows 0%, the battery is far from dead. just the internal circuit cutting the power off
thank you guys!

It definitely shouldn't do that. I wonder if your phone shuts down because it reads 0% rather than because battery actually empty. So your battery might be only down to 65% but because it's uncalibrated, it reads 0% which turns your phone off. What I would suggest, since I use and reviewed ZL before , after your phone reads 100%, leave for another 5-6 hours on a charger. Then discharge it down. Do that for a few cycles and see if it helps. If you still have problem, try to ask this question in S4 mini section of XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-mini/accessories , or contact ZL for replacement.

think, that is the charger problems.
may you clear the charger dock metal
You should also consider the possibility that the battery is simply defect if it all leads to nothing.

If there is no problems with your phone, then you would better to try another battery since the one you have now would be defective.

I did just 1 full charge and full discharge , now I full charged it fo the second time.
I have about the same problem.
Need it to be re calibrate? Or do you still have this problem?
What was your solution for it then?
You should try re-calibrating the battery. You'll have to get the battery to almost 0%, start the calibration app and charge the phone up to 100%. There are various apps for this, I couldn't recommend a specific one since I never had to do this.

My solution was:
1,Try using your original battery to test if your device is normal.
2,If it was normal,You should take the battery to RMA.

wha is "RMA" ?
I think the device is normal but in my opninion it is because the phone doesn't know that there is a heavyer battery then before.
That it something has to do with that calibration, but I just asked here to be sure if that could be the problem.
Have a good day .. Tech at XDA
My Samsung Galaxy Gio Battary Charge quickly and drain in a similar style. I buy new battery but situation remain same. Battery Stat from 8% to 15% to 30%...55% and some how stop on 80% in just 15 to 20 minutes.
Please help.. Is it battery problem or charger (I buy new charger also) or some kind of IC circuit problem.

Drain your battery to 0 percent then do a complete charge from 0% to 100%
Worked for me.
I have the same problem.I tried two different batterys and from both i get the same result.I think it's a problem with the sensors, when it reach 100% stops charging but in reality isn't charged at all.

Did you recalibrate the battery?
Here is a link to an app in the google play store
http://goo.gl/xRHjp7
I discharged it yesterday and then it charged completly in 15 minutes.I see in the app's screenshot that at 66% he has 3882 mv.On my phone at 100% it shows 4mv.
