r u using miui 6 ??? if yes,it doesn't have any problem with frequency....Just make sure u have to provide root permission for No Frills Cpu Control App inside Security App...For Provide Root Permission for given app,Go to Security-->Root Permission-->Enable the Selected app...Then it's done...

I'm using miui v45 official, i have rooted my phone and granted root access to no frill cpu but nothing change, the cpu is auto clocked min to 900

it happens some time... do this if it works or not...change the max frequency to other (not ur current frequency..eg if ur current frequency is 1344 then change it to any frequency than 1344 like 1402 mhz & Lower Frequency to 300mhz...Then Restart ur phone....tell me if it works or not

Last week i installed miui v6 rom but the cpu stayed locked at 900 min, now i tried all these but it's always cloked at 900 mhz, i can't modify because the systeme persiste tje cpu freq at 900mhz

I flashed the official miui rom with miflash, it's miflash who did this, and when i flash a rom i do : factory reset>wipe cache and dalvik cache > and installation of the rom

some one report his wifi cant connect. stuck in obtaining address
recently i also test wifi. i created adhoc from linux + dhcpd module
then i try to connect my gio to this adhoc with dynamic ip
its work on me, only take about 2 seconds and connected. i also try to ping & browsing, it's worked
i think the problem isn't from this module wifi, maybe his access point

i only use high frequency if need, like play hd game, and benchmark too

This is kernel only
you can apply this over the CM7.2 or CM7.1. The CM7.2 comes with paxor kernel you can apply this to get more wifi/3G ie wifi breaks in pax0r kernel .That problem is fixed in this kernel

I just wiped cache and dalvik cache coming from RC1. Yes it has the V5 kernal.

DEFINITELY noticeable. This thing flies now haha. Try for yourself!
I haven't really noticed much of a performance improvement over CM9-RC1 with v5 kernel personally, but I'm glad this exists. I've been using HO!NO!'s roms and kernels since he started dev-ing for the Nitro, because they always have incredible battery performance.

That's weird.. it's like night and day for me.
How is the battery life on this compared to CM9, and stock?
If it is comparable (or better) i might go with this ROM instead of cyanogen, because it seems as if this is much quicker than both
i am just wondering because of the speed increase and the overclock.
tbh i myself didnt experience any performance improvements over cm9 !
i experienced some mini freezes while playing music and unlocking the lockscreen !

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to my latest kernel ELiTE edition!
Get ready for the most battery life, the best performance and the most fps in-game!
The goal of this kernel is to be atleast as stable as Sony's stock kernel, while delivering a better performance and battery life.
This is mainly accomplished due to Swap, CleanCache, ZCache, ZRam, which help to reduce the I/O load and give you more free memory for multitasking. The battery consumption should not be worse compared to Sony's stock kernel, while I am achieving more performance due to making full usage of the Qualcomm Resource Power Manager (RPM).
To save additional battery, I recommend switching to either the 'intellidemand' or 'badass' governor for the best battery life.
To get the most performance out of this, I'd recommend to switch to the 'lagfree' governor.

I am working on including the TWRP recovery (Team Win Recovery Project).
I seriously don't feel a need to overclock the GPU (Adreno 220), but if requested, I will look into it.
If the hardware doesn't make it impossible, there's hardly anything I can't do. Just be brave and give me constructive feedback!

Great news, a new kernel, thanks! I've already flashed it on XTXperience v7 and booted with no problems - cleaned cache & dalvik cache before flash. So far seems snappier, governor is intellidemand and antutu score is 8740. Will post feedback when I use it for a couple of days. I was on Stock+ kernel.

You can't flash kernels with locked bootloader.

Use app like setcpu. It allows you to change governor and scheduler.
AnTuTu CPU Master free also allows you to change governor. It says "Scaling" instead of governor and scheduler comes under Advanced settings tab.

Need Help
I flashed the Kernel. After reboot a encounted the same wifi problem. But solved it with flashing the Wifi module.zip. Thanks to the Uploader.
I set the maximum cpu speed and lagfree governer. And What about " SCHEDULERS". ? What is the use of that ? Which one should i set ? I am using Setcpu... Pls reply.. Thanks in advance

Ya k, I forgot to include the stock wifi module it seems.
By default, my kernel loads the module in /system/lib/modules/bcm4330.ko, which can lead to problems if you don't have the stock wifi modules.
TWRP seems to still be causing some issues... will look into it for sure. I am currently working on Android 4.2, got it booting up already, but there are some libs that need to be fixed.
If anybody's interested, I upgraded to a working CWM 6.2 Recovery and the CM10 kernel is on its way.

You might want to use Antutu CPU Master from the Play Store and go to the 'advanced' tab. There you can change your I/O scheduler, which can finally result in much better I/O performance, rad-and-write improvements which can have a massive effect on games, file copying, reading or whatever. Just try and you'll find out soon what suits you best
Might be a stupid question, but would this kernel work in JB MIUI? (ie. the newest MIUI posted here on the Xperia S forum.)
I'm assuming it doesnt since this is for ICS, but thought I'd ask before I'd try it out while I'm at work. Especially since it just said MIUI.

To set CPU Governor or I\O Scheduler use 3-rd party app like SetCPU.
To enable CD-ROM mode - open in RootExplorer as text
/sys/devices/virtual/android_usb/android0/f_mass_storage/lun/cdrom
change "0" to "1" and save. After that - connect via USB to PC and select "Mass Storage"
Flash via TWRP over EMUI 3 ROM without wipes.

zImage can be ported to my CM11 build. But i still have no fix sound in CM11, so i use EMUI 3 now.

Tried this rom but No luck with data connection...still only on wifi... my network carrier is vodafone india
Is der any frequency band difference between europe & asia(india) which is causing this data connection issue...

Trying the cm11 version. The pegasusq seems tot have a conflict with vsync (i dont know if there actually is a vsync) but benchmarks 3d tests are verry choppy altough the fps are high. Benchmarks are Nice
Happy that i can use k3hotplug again. In combination with fifo a winner. Thanks.

mostly processors run a little under their max. Dunno if this is the case for our mate1.By the way power consumption is much better then the original cm11 kernel.
