[Q] Showing a generic IMEI of 004999010640000, how do I fix this?

Apparently this is a problem with some international phones sometimes, but I can't seem to find the fix for it. What do I do?

why i flashed xxdme4 but the imei still no change ?
flashing with dxdlk5 give me back the imei

Im also getting this issue when I flash st8ck rom, and I can't understand why, when i flash bacl to ketan rom everything is fine, but if i flash back to stock imei gets 0044, i have tryed to restore imei backup but it wont work, how do you know whst modem you are suppost to Flash? I live in sweden and im all new to this, thanks for your help!

I am about to flash dr.ketan v3 rom.. did u face any problem with it ?

Something I want to know the new bootloader

A question friends, before taking the last step
I have a Roger I747M with bootloader and modem I747MVLDMF1 with v5 version of MIUI android 4.2.2, now the next thing is, I can update the bootloader to the latest version and still use the rom I have?
It keeps the recovery TWR working?
I can still install custom rom
I hope you can help me solve my doubts.

How are you trying to install it? Did you go to the official MIUM website?

Before installing custom ROMs, please do your research thoroughly and be sure you know what you're doing as there is no easier way to brick or backdoor your phone.

I tried with CWM...and now i'm using philz_touch_6.07.9-d2att.tar.
There isn't any official MIUI ROMS for my device : SGH-i747m
i tried a lot custom roms before and all work but i'm not able to install miui using porting roms.
it always give me error 7
i tried to install an old miui rom and work...but i can't take any photo.... it says " can't connect to camera.... error camera "
before, i had a Galaxy S2 International and worked perfectly with MIUI v5.

Cannot seem to find the needed RUU ?

i got HTC desire 816w from china but i am originally from Egypt
anyway this was my first time to root my device and install custom rom but unfortunately i deleted my backup stock rom by mistake
and now wanna back to stock but dont know how so pls
if anybody can explain how to S OFF and install stock rom ( i searched much for S OFF for this device but didn't find and also can't get the stock rom from HTCUI.com donno why cant download from baidu ) and finally big thanks to kinghunki all info i know about this device by his Threads

Try this European version single sim version RUU from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52995489. I did the similar mistake and unable to find the RUU for the dual sim english version. If you or anyone happen to find one, please please share that rom or RUU.

Stock Rom

Hi guys. where can i down new full stock rom CQE1 for my note 4 sm-n910v.
I dont like any cook rom cuz it is so lag. Please help me. Ty guys

CQC1 is the latest odin stock - odin file I can find. This will not relock your bootloader but you have to disable ota after installation.

its on sammobile...its the 2nd option down shows there as being a newer release however
STOCK FIRMWARE WILL LOCK THE BOOTLOADER. there is no root method here and im not sure if its downgradable
