Hello everyone!
I'm reading all the guides on the net but im confused.
I have a d855 vith v20a, and i want to install custom rom for remove the lag and other nice things.
BUT.
I've seen that lollipop isn't rootable so i have to Downgrade to kitkat and then use PurpleDrake, right?
And after this i have to flash with Flashify a Bumped TWRP?
I've download this file : D85510g_00.kdz. I have to flash this with LG FLASH TOOL 2014 Right?
Wich setting should i have to use with this program?
And..there isn't something like a bootloader to unlock or something?
Thank you a lot all.

It is important, to download the right firmware. Here is another site to choose from, hust to make sure its the correct one: http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G3/Stock/
The correct settings are in the LG Flash tool thread, you don't need do divert from those.

All of them are named like that what you need to pay attention to is the prefix it has, which in your case will be either A6IT or AHIT (surprisingly with a country code at the end), depending on which version of the G3 you have.
The A6IT is for the 16gig variant, downloadable from here, and the AHIT is the 32gig variant, downloadable from here.

Yeah I know the stock software is far from perfect. I used the original vodafone for about an hour, then got fed up with the bloatware, and moved to AndroidNow, which, as of now, runs decent.

Hello,
I've installed a ROM on my Note II in a wrong way and now I am only able to access the Download Mode when booting.
What can I do? How can I install a new ROM through Odin or is there any other solution to proceed ?
Thank you.

Yes, you have to download the stock ROM, and flash it through download mode with odin.. After that you can restart by installing a custom recovery and start again with a custom rom!

No i think doesnt really matter but its better if you can find your region firmware online , just search on google " note 2 stock rom download " (download the 4.4.2 one) and you will find many links, im sorry i cant post link on the forum (im kinda new and i cant)
Its around 1.3 GB the stock rom so if are downloading something of that size you can be 99% sure its a stock note 2 firmware

Different modems may be included for different regions, try looking for the right/latest one at Sammobile. Goodluck. ^^
Thank you for your answers. I really appreciate it.
I was able to un-brick my phone using the following file, over odin:

Hello!
Similar to other people in this forum I have installed TWRP recovery and now decided I actually want OTA updates. Of course I forgot to do a backup before I replaced the original recovery.img with the TWRP one .
Now to my problem; I cant seem to find a download site for the firmware version which I have installed :crying: .
Model number: HUAWEI M2-801L
Build number: M2-801LV100R001C100B002
Custom version: CUSTC100D002
Could someone here be sitting on a link or maybe been smart enough to backup this specific recovery.img ?
Thanks in advance

perhaps you can extract it from the B002 OTA?
http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=67283&version=236249&siteCode=de
I'm at work currently, so i can't test it, but since i'll run into the same issue pretty soon, i'm very interested in finding a solution too.

Thanks, I will try this.
However, your linked version seems to be for M2-801W, the recovery might be compatible though, only one way to find out! :fingers-crossed:

you might wanna keep this one in mind then, just in case.
http://consumer.huawei.com/my/tablets/support/downloads/m2-801l-my.htm
I struck luck with the B002 firmware for M2-801W, that recovery seems to be working fine for my M2-801L. Thanks for the link toxic_garden :good:.
Also, can confirm that huawei extractor (v.0.9.9.3) did a good job of retrieving the OEM recovery.img from the downloaded .zip. I don’t have much faith in Huawei servers though, crazy slow download speed .
