[Q] TWRP not Booting to Menu!!! - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

Hello... I recently posted a thread about a Continuous Reboot on my Tmobile Galaxy S4. I later fixed the Reboot, but still have this little problem about my TWRP not Booting up completely. I have been using TWRP since a while and it works well. It started the problem when the Reboot issue started. I have flashed the .img file with flashify and also the .tar file on Odin.. It just get stuck on the "TEAMWIN" Blue splashscreen and would not get to the Menu. I flashed CWM and it booted up... I can even flash a Zip but cannot do factory/data reset... it would restart the Device.
I really need TWRP because its mostly recommended for flashing ROMS and i need it to do a FULL wipe of my Device.
What else can i do please?
Also... would be glad if someone can point out to a .zip CWM Flashable Wipe Script... Need to get my Device FULLY WIPED!!!!

If you are sure that you have SGH-M919, and you are rooted, you can use the TWRP Manager app from the Play Store to download the most current version of TWRP and have the app install it. This is the way that I install/update TWRP on my rooted SGH-M919. I'm running Stock rooted NH7 4.4.4.
After installing TWRP Manager, go to the Install TWRP option, select your Device Name, and then select which version of TWRP to install. It will then download that version, and install it to the Recovery partition.
Rob

Flasify from the play store also works well installing recovery, I used it for my SG4.
Pp.

Thanks to all..
I have fixed it myself... I'm sure some partitions got corrupt or something.
SOLUTION
I Flashed Stock Firmware in Odin with "Erase NAND all" Checked...
I then Reflashed Stock in Odin with a PIT File and "RePartition" checked.
I flashed the same TWRP File and it booted completely!!!
:good:
*** EDIT ***
Can anyone please help with EFS Backup to restore my IMEI? I dont have a Backup and my IMEI gone Null/Null & Baseband Unknown.
Any Help?

Twrp 2.6.3 problems ?

Im having a recurring issue that ive only noticed since updating to the latest twrp recovery. Both when I try to flash a new rom, or restore a nandroid backup, I get a red "failed" message. In the log it says "error opening zip". I always do a full wipe, and have tried re downloading the roms on wifi, reinstalled the recovery via goo.im app, and have odin'ed back to stock and started from scratch with the same result. I saw this issue mentioned in the wicked rom development thread, and they said just reboot back into recovery, install the "su script" and reflash and it will be fine, it worked once, but now it fails everytime. Any help would be greatly appreciated. For now im going to try an older version of twrp, but if this is a known issue, or there is another solution, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

I am almost sure that if you would ODIN flash TWRP v2.5.0.2 it very well might solve your issues.
Here is what needs to be done as well as the download links you might need:
This is for the T-Mobile Galaxy S4 SGH-M919 Only!
If you need official usb drivers to connect your phone to your computer, you can download here.
This is official Samsung USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.14.0
The TWRP recovery & the CF-AUTO-ROOT below are specifically designed for the M919 Tmobile S4.
1 - Download the TWRP 2.5.0.2 tar file. Do not extract the files. (This is a Odin compatible TAR file do not extract)
2 - Download Odin 3.07 and extract the files (unless you already have it)
3 - Download CF-Auto-Root and extract the .tar file (unless you already have it)
(This is a Odin compatible TAR file do not extract)
4 - Double click the Odin3 v3.07 file to start Odin. Auto Reboot should be selected by default.
If not, select it and only select Auto Reboot. Make sure re-partition is not selected.
Good luck!
It might be a poopy sd card. Try another

HELP !!! Reboots to Download mode after restore failed

Hello experts
While I research just thought I would post my issue.
I have rooted and installed CyanogenMod 10.1 dated 11-14-13 and was quite happy with it. Thought I would update to more recent stable version and downloaded cm-10.2.0-jfltetmo.zip and copied it to sdcard root.
Before doing anything wanted to test my nandroid backup set and tried to restore it to a 12-03 backup but it failed with a Boot restore error.
It appears that i lost the bootloder. It goes to Download mode when powered up. (this make me think that I have not Bricked it)
Can someone help me please?

I use the TWRP recovery and it has an option of what to backup,
one of the options it has is include "boot". (bootloader)
If that option in TWRP is not selected it will not backup "boot".
Perhaps the CWM recovery also has an option like that and it was
not selected before you started to create the nandroid backup.
The only thing you can do now is to ODIN flash the stock rom
and start from scratch including re-root.
Good luck!

Thanks for the response Misterjunky!
I used Nandroid backup tool to backup. I think but not positive that I saw the Boot option checked. There was one the was unchecked by default something starting with Yf... or something .. do not remember the term.
I connected to PC and did ODIN and it worked fine and said 'PASS' on odin screen. on reboot it again went to download mode. On top it says cannot do normal boot in red. Will keep checking for answers but if you have any suggestions please guide me.
Thank you again

Finally I am back to Stock MDL. But as others encountered WIFI doesn't want to turn on.
On another hunt for solution.
Tried FDR and wipe/restore from stock recovery. No luck yet.
Do I need to use custom recovery? If so do I need to redo (Odin the stock image)?
Thanks again in advance.

[Q] After using Quick Boot, Galaxy Tab 3 keeps booting into recovery

Hi everyone!
I have just bought a Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (SM-T110). and I had flashed TWRP and rooted it, HOWEVER, after I tried to boot into recovery using "Quick Boot", the system keeps going into Recovery no matter what.
I have tried to use Odin to reflash the recovery, and I have tried to flash a different custom ROM (StockRom-V1.1-T110) using recovery, but whenever it reboots, it just goes straight to recovery.....
How can I fix this?
Please help!

I didn't know how to just flash the kernal, so I flash the stock firmware with odin.
and everything works now.
download THIS
and extract the file, and use odin to flash it, doesn't take that long, but all the apps and settings will be reset.
To install stock firmware, go to this THREAD, and watch "GALAXY TAB 3 UNBRICK AND RESTORE", great tutorial by Rootjunky

got you and thank you for your time .. now does this other file even matter usually they dont come in these tar zips
SS_DL.dll whats that for
Same situation. I rooted it fine. Installed a custom rom. No issues. Then it asked to update the supersu binary. Did that and now it keeps booting into TWRP no matter what I do. Gonna start fresh and this time I'll not use TWRP to update the binary I guess.
To fix the booting in recovery
flash stock recovery with oodin
now go to stock recovery
select clear cache
it will show error (and recovery crashes) and tab will boot normally.

[Q] Nand write fail for rom flash SM-T805

Hi, I am in need of assistance. I have a Tab S 10.5 SM-T805 with rom XXU1ANF8
I am struggling to flash firmware for my sm-t805 using odin and stock roms downloaded from sammobile. I have tried various version of the stock roms as well as different versions of odin, but they all have the same result.
The result is either "NAND Write Start! FAIL!!" or "Setup connection.. Can't open the serial(COM) port." The order in which I do things might impact which error I receive, such as attaching the tablet first or selecting the ROM file first in PDA box.
Here is why I am desperate. Since this result was pretty consistent, I flashed TWRP successfully and wiped all the partitions, including the system partition. Now, there is no OS installed. Using TWRP I have attempted the 'Install' method of flashing ROMS, but now my error is exclusively the first type.
I read some of the other threads and attempted any advice relevant posted there. This is sort of relevant to what I am trying to do, but my system partition has been wiped. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/help/odin-flashes-fail-t3028264), so there is no relevance to enabling USB debugging for disabling reactivation lock. This is a guy who can do what I am trying to do. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/help/roms-flashing-advice-t805-t3031963)

Is activation lock off? That what causes it not to flash. The only thing I can suggest is transferring a custom zip rom and flash it with twrp. Or try another firmware from a different country.

It was my observation that this activation lock is off by default on the stock rom. In order to turn this on, you have to register with a Samsung account.

Idk then, I guess you got to wait for another firmware that comes to your country
Just flash the Swiss Rom then after it fails, boot into download mode again then Install and boot into twrp.
Twrp will wipe the cache and auto reboot. The device should then boot normally.
Is TWRP 2.8.6.0 chagallwifi ok for this procedur ? and can i flash the original swisscom ? or the cleared .tar without the two files ..... and when i in download mode ... wich kombo can i use for reboot in download mode again

Try using a TWRP recovery, and flash with it.
If still the same, try going back to stock, and then start over.
no success
i was on twrp itself and then switched to cwm and i don't even have my stock backed up so i guess there's nothing that can be done here. but if there is a way then do help.

You don't need stock backup to get to stock!
You can boot into download mode, and flash the stock ROM with Odin using PC, that's it.
What is your phone Model number?
So i can give you TWRP link.
yeah. please gimme the link to a twrp zip file and yes i downloaded a stock rom for my samsung note 2 gt n7100 and i even got odin but when i'm trying to put the md5 file in the AP section it stops for some time and then an error message pops up.

The error is because the stock ROM md5 file is corrupt.
If you want TWRP to flash with odin, then here you are.
