Hey guys, I wonder how to install a fully working DSP Manager with the exact sound effects on my SGSII ROM V7.2 but it didn't work...... Is there anyone can help me? Any help will be appreciated.
But before you reply, read this:
1) I already paste the dspmanager.apk in system/app/ and set permissions.
2) I already paste the Cyanogen audio lib files in lib/soundfx and changed permissions. The "volume+" was deleted.
3) I checked the compatibility like the baseband, rom, android version etc.
4) The whole app didn't work. I was exploring around the internet to find out why but there's no answer....
5) I tried it out with stocklite 7.1 but it still happens.
6) Somebody tried out but they worked.
7) I almost threw my phone into a shredder because I'm too disappointed, especially for a music lover....omg....:crying:
Dspmanager is a very good eq app and it changes the sound effects without effecting other other frequency and that's why everyone was amazed by this app.
So I'm going to do this on my stock roms. Once the work is done I'll post and share on here and you guys can install dspmanager on stock roms with the easiest way!
there should a thread related to beats audio. Flash that and use DSP. I did that when I was on stock..once upon a time..
go to adrenaline rom thread look for dsp manager patch .

Hi have installed the Official ViPER4Android Audio Effects (FX v2.3.3.0).
Now the problem i'm getting is that it isnt working, whenever i go back onto my sound effects it ask me to install the drivers all over again. It states this every time i open the sound effects settings tab.
Im currently running Samsung GT-i9100 running Resurrection Remix 5.1.1 kitkat 4.4.2 Rooted.
I have followed all the installation guides from here forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223
Nothing seems to be working. It doesnt seem to be installing the drivers correctly.
Please see the attachment for the error message i get whenever i go onto the Sound Effects Settings Tab
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
tried IRS below to test it out and it worked great back on KitKat
SRS Audio HD [SRS GEQ - Acoustic + SRS TruBass - 50% + SRS Dialog Clarity - 50%]
I finally updated to lolipop, i have V4a working except the IRS file isn't being detected.
Beats Audio for example works just fine, but nothing changes when i go to the SRS irs above.
Any advice? I've posted in nearly every V4a thread i could find and i keep getting told to reach out to maker of IRS file :\
Device: Nexus 7 2013
OS: 5.1.1.
Rom: Optipop
Kernel - Elemental X
SElinux - permissive
No other audio processors installed
BusyBox on rails installed and ran
Media Player: Power amp.
Prior on Kitkat, i had to install it as a user app, and then use the banned app to move it to system\app in order to get all IRS files to work. IRS files are crucial to me because i use my N7 2013 in dash in my car.
On lolipop, no matter what method i use (whether i install apk, move apk to system\app or flash viper4android zip files), i can get it to process audio under poweramp, but irs files aren't being truly recognized (some are)
Any suggestions?
P.s. - i have been using the following two zips from these threads :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...-viper4android-lollipop-t3075794#post60588642
and
http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/themes-apps/discussion-viper4android-t2543796
as well as the apk from the official site.
EDit: read the last 3 pages, I will try the APK method on it's own as a user app, will report back.
Edit: installed 4.x apk , installed drivers , set my settings, rebooted, used the "banned" app to move to system app. Convolver IRS files work flawlessly, and i have to set it to compatible mode, but now i have constant popping in audio :\
What version of SELinux Mode Changer are you using?... I had issues getting the latest version (3.01) to work. I went back to SELinux Mode Changer 1.2 and Viper4Android FX v.2.3.4.0 to get it to work on my N7 2013. It does not boost the volume up that much, but it provides better clarity at a higher volume. I'm running Viper on "Stock" LP 5.1.1 rooted.
Edit: Also try testing using a different player and check the Driver Status under Viper.'s setting to check if it's processing.

I used version 2.0.2
It worked fine in changing it (latest one didn't).
Also, it's processing, it's the Convolver and IRS that isn't.

bump!
interesting turn of events, i used the lolliviper zip above in the links, and then moved it manually back to user app but left the preinstalled drivers and audiopolicy included in the zip in the system files.
v4a disappeared, okay no biggie, reinstalled the apk from the official site, settings were all there, drivers were already installed from prior installation. Poweramp works, all irs files work, no cracking or popping.
What a complicated route to take to make sure all irs files and poweramp to work, but the audiopolicy is key, i can upload it for those who are interested to decipher for me what i cannot specifically

Still need help, 3.5mm connection via n7 2013 on power amp +5.1.1 + v4a = static and popping
Some app messed up the ysound.xml ( /system/etc/ysound.xml) file in my phone and now my microphone volume is too low, the other party cannot hear me while on a call. It would be great if someone provides me the unmodified file with the default values
P.S. : I tried flashing the stock ROM again, but still that didn't bring it to the default values. Also tried Ysound tweaker, still didn't solve.
Thanks in advance
I've uploaded ysound.xml from stock samsung Kitkat rom (4.4.2)

Remove whatever you installed completely. If there's an uninstaller, use that. Install the LegacyFX module through Magisk. Just follow the installer prompts, vol + or vol -, for which options you want. (I chose the older version 2.3.) At the end you can choose to make it a system or user app; I chose system. It works fine.
The device has rooted magisk
my audio experience on 1 + 5t is amazing 1 stereo system on iphone headphones you just need to install the magisk ainur sauron + viper4androi module and fix packages so that it combines together into a perfect effec combination Here you will see the power of the lord when listening to music on spotify
Experience after many trial order installation
1: ainu sauron
2: viper4andoid
3: audio compatibility patch it will create a link
4: audio modification lybrary: the module to work well on the music player is acp.zip you will find it in the link below
