The thing you need to do is to post the questions in the right place. In this case, in the rom thread.
That's not how you add widgets anymore. Drag them from the widgets section of the App drawer.

It's the same as rooting any other version. The 'Developer Only' forum isn't where you ask on how to root

Go to phone details and click your build number 7 times. I'm serious. It will enable developer options like USB debugging.
