Hello,
My friend has a S4 mini i9190 phone. We downloaded stock ROM and installed it via ODIN. But after installation was successfull, there was nothing changed. Old ROM was still there. We have no errors while installing ROM. Everything went well. what may be the situation?
If you are sure that it was successful and you know what you're doing, try formatting everything from a custom recovery (data, cache, dalvik, cache, system) and then flash a stock ROM.

How is that going to help to get an imei number back? Thats a link to a uvalj1 modem.
The man is trying to get his imei number back. And we all just about know from intuition that he doesnt have a backup. Id send him to the galaxy s3 thread by peoplearmy that details method that DOES work on our phone using nv reader to back up or inject an imei number into the system.
I just dont have the link and cant find it
But flashing modems isnt going to do nothin at all.
OP GO TO THE GALAXY S3 FORUMS FOR TMOBILE find and download those tools. Follow the instructions PROVIDED there and try to INJECT an imei into your phone since im pretty certain that you dont have a backup. Stop following links and flashing random files from people that know even less than you about fixing the problem.
Your taking art advice from the blind.

When you are in download mode, plug the phone to PC and check if Odin is able to detect it
If not, install samsung drivers or samsung kies and try again
Then, download this firmware: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=32162
After download, extract ZIP and don't rename the file with 'tar.md5' extension
Then try to flash it through Odin and wait...
If you flash was done correctly, phone will boot
If you get bootloop, reboot in recovery and make a wipe data/factory reset
Good luck

It is better for him to try a 4.4 from now on...
I was installing a ROM Phantom (NG4) and am currently with stock 4.4.2 FND, and my phone not restarted, stuck on recovery screen.
I had to reinstall the Stock ROM (I used a backup of Dr Ketan I had in SD).
Is there any incompatibility issue, installing a Rom NG4 directly on top of a FND?
I use TWRP 2.7.1.2.

Hello all,
I tried to flash CM 11 nightly version on my Galaxy Note 2 but is unable to do so.
When I try to flash, I get an error message that "This package is for device: t03g, n7100, GT-N7100; this device is t03gub"
I am sure that I have downloaded the correct version but from the above message it seems that I am trying to flash different version.
Please help!!! As I have cleared all the cache and memory, I even cannot boot into system. Cleared all the data for flashing the new CM11 but as I cannot flash now, I am stuck with a dead phone which I cannot use.
Please Help!!!!!!!
Flash Stock
Kindly go to www.sammobile.com and download the correct stock firmware for your phone.
Follow the instructions over there on how to flash. Or Google how to flash with Odin.
Once you get your phone live with stock OS you can go for Custom Rom.
As per my opinion DN4 by Electron Team is the best custom ROM.
Thanks for the help...... I did figure it out.... I had the flashed the wrong TWRP file initially and now rectified it.
Was able to install the CM on my phone.
Have a another problem though..... Phone network is not recognized. I mean by default, the mobile network is turned off and when I turn it on manually, it turns off the mobile network automatically.
Not sure how to rectify it..... everything else seem to be working fine.
Please help!!!
Anyone Help please....
The EFS partition is the culprit. I do not get ant IMEI no. on the phone.
Worst part is that I dont have the back-up too....
Any way by which I can bring back the phone to life?
Please help!!!!

Since you Install a stock rom form sams I assue its not Rooted or deodexed coz its stock rom ofcource..
Unless u are rooted you cannot install a good custom rom
Do a CF auto rooting using Odin
Reflash TWRP
Then Enjoy a new Custom rom
Go for DN 4 2.1 with mod v11 :good::good:
I have a tab s 8.4 sm t705 I was running kk rom I flashed LP rom and now it boot loops. The images I have attached is when it crashes and reboots. For some reason it is showing all lines and either blue or red screen sometimes.

It looks like you flashed a ROM for the t805 not the t705.
First let's get you back to stock.
Download the firmware for your device from the link below.
Follow the instructions to install it. This will get you up and running again.
