And when i hold volumeup , home and power button together it boots into download mode not in recovery mode. And when i tried to install philzrecovery and twrp thorugh odin it showed reset message and again no recovery installed and phone booted into download mode. What is the problem.??

Get the flashable zip file from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053
Try to use Flashify ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify ) to install a recovery
Now flash the zip using your recovery you should be fixed.

Actually dude, when i try to install philzcmw recovery through odin it shows rest msg on it and then my phone boots into normal download asking to press volume up button to continue and volume down button to cancel. Means, no recovery is installed. And when i enter in download mode for flashing recovery it shows some KNOX void count i don't know what is happening . The link u provided for supersu upgrade....but this should be applied when i have got cmw or twrp recovery to flash this ...but i m struggling in that.. so please help me to install the recovery!

This means you have no root client installed, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joeykrim.rootcheck use this to confirm if you have root access.
If you do have root update SuperSU from the market: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.supersu, Update the Binaries using normal mode and try flashify again.
Otherwise I can try to help in another way.

My phone is s-off and rooted but I can't install the CWM Recovery.
I tried many things but no luck yet. I did flash the other RUU file but same result.
I can go to the recovery screen but after press the ercovery. It go to the blue text CWM Recovery screen.
Looks like an old CWM Recovery I think. It doesn't flash any zip file.
How do I install the CWM Recovery?

open play store(android market) and find app named "GooManager" okay.then installed it.
now open Goomanger and you will see option named "install openrecovery script".
click on that.that will download twrp recovery and flash itself.
procedure is same as you installed previous recovery via rom manager.this time you ll install different recovery.and yeah TWRP recovery is touch recovery so now you dont need to use volume and power key to select items

First of all you should have used philz recovery version 6.25. or 6.41 if you are flashing the recovery for first time on stock ROM.(TWRP is known to give issues when flashing it over stock recovery).Download the latest philz from this LINK.before doing all this place superSu v1.99 in your external sd card of your phone you'll need it later.Put your phone into download mode.Open odin, connect your phone to odin.wait for the port id to lit up, uncheck AUTOReboot in odin.Next tick mark the AP/PDA option in odin and browse to select the downloaded philz file from above link. Then click start and let odin do it's thing.Once it says "pass" unplug the phone from laptop/pc pull the battery out the phone so it can turn off .wait few seconds put the battery back in then enter recovery mode manually by pressing and holding the volume up+home+power button and let go of all 3 buttons as soon as you see samsung note 2 logo ,wait around 10 seconds or so for philz to load. Then go to install zip select sd card 1 philz will freeze for a moment and then show main menu again, do the same go back to install zip , click on storage sdcard 1(external sd card) find the superSu v1.99 that you downloaded earlier and click on it and press yes on next screen and let it flash. Now use the back button and go back to main menu,go to power then click on reboot system. Now your phone is rooted and superSu will ask to disable Knox press ok/yes and you are done.
SuperSu V1.99
Anyone still have that old Philz recovery?? I'm trying to upgrade my mother in-law's Note 2 to CM13... ugh
Use twrp as cwm and Philz have not been updated for a long time.
So I ran the cf-autoroot thru odin, ran successfully and it rebooted. I then went and clicked on superuser and get the message There is no SU Binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem. So I went and downloaded TWRP 2.6.3.3. Went back into odin clicked my file in downloads and it looks like it installed it. I power off device then I hold down power and up volume and instead of going into any kind of recovery, of course I was hoping for TWRP so I can reinstall superuser from zip file. I have used TWRP on other devices all it does is reboot into my device and never opens up any recovery. If I hold down the down volume of course it correctly goes into odin after then holding the up volume. Does anyone know what im doing wrong...cant figure this one out. thanks
Figured it it *** can can thread, thx
flash twrp through odin.
1. odin flash cf autoroot
2.reboots
3.back to odin flash twrp
4. then go to twrp to flash the super user file or flash a custom rom which already has it.

First install a temperory CWM recovery by Odin and via that install which ever permanent recovery that u want this method helped me and i m sure will help u too.
Hit thanks if it helped
1-Use Root Genius Application to One-click root your Grand i9082 (www.rootgenius.com) it's a windows app, (you need to install Grand i9082's drivers on your PC before rooting)
2-Download the Recovery's image (.img file) and transfer on device's SD card or internal memory
3-Download "Rashr" from Google Play
4-open Rashr
5-Make backup of stock recovery (incase something goes wrong)
6-Click Install recovery from storage
7-Select the Recovery's image (.img file) in Rashr and install your recovery
8-Reboot and enjoy!
Recovery Mode not working
I succesfully rooted my i9082 using Kingo root. Then, I tried flashing CWM using Odin3 in download mode. Even after successfully flashing, the phone doesn't boot to recovery, it stays stuck at the Samsung boot logo. Even the stock recovery seems to have disappeared. The phone boots normally and into download mode, but I can't seem to access recovery or even bootloader. I have tried several different custom recoveries, and my custom BIN down is at 7 counts. Some applications I got off the Play Store say that I have no available recoveries installed/recognized. What do I do?
I also have same problem......!!!

Flash recovery again, try using Rashr app. If not work, might want to try flashing thru Odin.
Sent from my GT-I9082 using XDA Free mobile app
First time flashing ROMs, installed resurrection remix tryed to install Gapps which failed, yet RR booted up on its own just fine. Then tried to flash a new recovery on it (TWRP 3.0) yet the phone would just never boot up to complete the recovery install. So now i have a phone which wont enter recovery mode and cannot complete the download of the new recovery.
TLDR: Phone wont boot into recovery as ROM is broken so download cant be fixed?
Previous: recovery TWRP 2.6
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-19195
Any help would be really appreciated!
Thanks
Are you sure that you have flashed the right Recovery for your Phone.
Normally the way is.
Boot into Recovery
Install the Recovery .zip file
Reboot into Recovery.
Reboot into System ( ROM )
Can you post a link where you download the Recovery and which file.

That would only work from TWRP ver 2.8.4, I think you missed he is still on very old TWRP or maybe he edit later , he would have to install with Odin method
@Spec77
If you can boot into download mode you should be able to flash new recovery with Odin method (NOT use zip file).
As Bierma suggests maybe you flashed wrong TWRP does your phone have another letter and after gt-19195 if so it is a different phone & you need different TWRP. Or maybe you just tapped wrong link.

This way works also if you come from a CWM or PhilzTouch Version.
If you come from TWRP =>2.8.4.0 than you can flash an *.IMG File ,but you can flash on all Versions a *.zip file.
Managed to fix the brick
Thanks for the help, I managed to fix it by installing TRWP 3.0 from ODIN, and now that i have that I'm fine
Thanks!
