I rooted my phone using stump root and recently my phone did a weird update out of nowhere that caused my phone to unroot, i tried rooting again with stump and ioroot but neither worked. What can i do to reroot it?
Restore the phone to previous version before update. Then re-root using stump.
Have a great day! from my LG G3

I can't root my G3, I've tried IO root, root tool, Purple Drake, towel root.
When flashing in recovery file validation always fails.
I have the LG D855 running Android 4.4.2
Any help would be much appreciated.
Try stump root. It literally took me 5 mins to complete the entire process.
Here is the official thread for stump root.
So a few months ago I used Stump Root to root my Tmobile LG G3, then without thinking I installed a software update. Now when I go to Stump Root it says i'm rooted, but when I go to SuperSU it says I need to manually re-root. How do I do this?

New here, but I used to have my G3 rooted with stump root. I saw an update was available and I couldn't download with it rooted (i tried numerous times). so I decided to unroot during the SuperSU fully unroot option. The update came once again and I'm still not able to download it. I've tried using root apps but cant and when I try to update OTA it says it fails. Any advice?
