Just as Arash94 stated. Just unroot, flash stock recovery, then relock bootloader. Follow with a factory restore and your back in warranty. Note that the disclaimer before unlocking your bootloader states that it MAY void warranty. Meaning if you do any system modifications deeper then that and it sexes up your device its on your head not theirs.

A bootloader in the "relocked" state is out of warranty.

May be... I said this because when I thought I was going to need to buy a new phone when mine wasn't booting to an OS (which you helped me fix and I am forever grateful) I contacted HTC to get my phone fixed. They said they wouldn't due to an unlocked bootloader.
Any tutorial to relock the bootloader....????
What happens if I install cyanogenmod??? Can I reverse to stock??

That's the thing. They won't know, if it won't boot to it. >. & if its hardware wise, relocked, fully stock, with the software working as it should, but hardware being the only issue; they replace it.
This voids replacements for software replacements basically if they can see it's unlocked/relocked. It's a broad range with brief holes of loops lol.

Hello guys, I bought wildfire s and before I unlock the bootloader and flash a custom ROM, I would like to backup my Stock ROM in case I want to put it back. How can I do it? I was trying to search it but I'm surprised I didn't find a thread like that. Thank you

You will have to unlock the bootloader and root your phone before you can take a backup.
Use too manager from mkt to take th backup.

And is it possible to unroot the phone in case I want to apply the warranty in the service?

You don't loose the warranty when you root. You loose it when you update the HBOOT -- the very first step in the process. After successfully updating HBOOT, it comes up *** UNLOCKED (OOW) ***, presumably meaning "out of warranty" but I'm not 100% sure about that.
Plus, with the registration process required to update the HBOOT, I suspect that they know that your particular phone has been unlocked, so flashing an older locked HBOOT won't even help.
The bottom line: don't unlock your bootloader and root the phone if you care that much about the warranty.
So, I love my one x and always had my desire z rooted, used it for many things and always loved the freedom.
Now, for example I kinda miss the functions I do not have un rooted, but what are the advantaged of being NOT rooted?
For example: if you rooted can you later still unroot?
Also: if rooted, and gone back to stock..could you still receive OTA updates, or will they not receive?
Some explanation and hints would be very appticiated, regards .

there is no advantage of being non rooted the advantages comes only if you're rooted imo.
if you root then you can go back to stock and get OTAs too

i would suggest you to install OrdroidX...
Download the ROM and place it on your virtual SD card.
Relock your bootloader using the commend 'fastboot oem lock'.
Go into fastboot mode and type 'fastboot oem rebootRUU'.
Flash the new firmware using the commend 'fastboot flash zip firmware.zip'.
On first time running the commend you will see FAILED, don't panic and just run the commend again.
Reunlock your bootloader via HTCDev.
Flash custom recovery using the commend 'fastboot flash recovery recovery.img'.
Download boot.img and flash it using the commend ‘fastboot flash boot boot.img’.
Use the commend 'fastboot erase cache' to avoid boot issues.
Go into recovery and install the ROM.
Reboot your device and enjoy from JB!
Sorry, that wasn't really clear at all for me, I'm only used to s off, could you link me to a detailed guide?

That guide is for EVITA.
Does your bootloader day EVITA or ENDEAVORU?
This forum is for ENDEAVORU.
With ENDEAVORU, you can unroot and unlock, but bootloader will say relocked, not locked. There may be warranty implications to that.

Cause I basically do not want to install any custom roms or so, just want to get root again.
And thanks for noticing, my boot loader says :

I want to gain root, but not flash any custom roms or so, and when the update (official) is available I would like to un-root and update to that.
And don't want any warranty issues .

Technically, if you just unlock and root, HTC would have a hard time proving you caused a problem and should honour the warranty.
In real life, a manufacturers warranty is barely worth the paper it's written on, it's barely legally binding.
However, that's why we have consumer protection laws in much of the world.
So it depends on where you bought it, and whether you can rely on consumer protection laws.
To unlock (so that you can root) go to htcdev.com, but it "may" invalidate the warranty. It cannot, however, affect your statutary rights.

Jelly Bean doesn't give you root.
There are lots of reasons to want root (titanium backup, for one) and it's not just to install another ROM.
I was giving the answer (and other relevant information) to the question, not speculating on why the question was asked.
I haven't unlocked mine yet.

Yes, so far we're up to 1.33.
But I don't get your point.
Is there a reason you want root, other than to be able to run apps that require root?
I'm on an AT&T Htc one M8 and I have unlocked, rooted and S-Off(With firewater). Tomorrow I will be taking it into the store to swap it out due to a build defect.
So far I have backed up in TWRP, Titanium Backup and copied my SD card onto my computer. I just need to return to S-On and then lock the phone again and return to stock. Can anyone point me on how to do this?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2701376
Find your ROM in this collection and flash that. First restore the ROM backup in twrp recovery then flash the stock recovery (fond in same the same thread) in fastboot.
If you need to, remove Tampered logo from bootloader:
MUST BE S-OFF

Locking the bootloader
MUST BE S-OFF
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2708571
Edit: did some searching and this is the command to turn s-on
fastboot oem writesecureflag 3
You should double check this as this is my first HTC phone that I'll be rooting so I don't have a lot of experience with s-off/s-on. From what I've read people say you shouldn't go back to s-on if s-off due to risk of bricking so be careful. Make sure you know what you're doing.

I'm not sure man. I returned mine to T-Mobile for the speaker grill problem and they didn't even turn it on. I'd probably return it to fully stock just in case HTC looks at it. I don't know why turning s-on back on is a risk. You might wanna ask around before doing it. Ask in the locking bootloader thread I linked maybe they can help you

Ive seen some people having all their apps in the Dual Window mode like Whatsapp Facebook etc
but all the ways were by rooting the LG G3 and I dont want to root the phone since ive heard its cencels the insurance
so I wonder if there is a way to do this without rooting the phone?
Thanks
Since you have to modify the build.prop (which requires root) i do not think there is a way without rooting your phone.

No 3rd party app to do it. Rooting is the only way. Who's your cell provider? By insurance do you mean the manufacture warranty? Do see how rooting voids the warranty if you can just reflash the phone and start it like new again.

yes that is correct. you could just buy the unlocked developer edition and then unlock root and s-off then flash the Verizon RUU and have a Verizon edition that is unlocked and awesome. or mail your phone to Jcase and he will unlock the bootloader and s-off for you. either way

If you want to use it on Verizon you likely will be stuck on custom roms and Verizon firmware anyways ....without firmware from vzw it won't work and without a rom that has vzw advanced call features built in you will be missing out on stuff.

But could explain why you need S-off? What are the benefits of having s-off or s-on?
If anyone can help or point me in the right direction would be appreciated because I think my phone is broke. I have an unlocked HTC 10 (non-carrier), unlocked bootloader, s-off(via sunshine), twrp 3.0.1-0-pme. The phone was rooted but ater a factory reset (s-on during that time) to try to get xposed to work data no longer works. I've done the following at least 3 time each with no change in results: format data, factory reset, flash SuperSU-v2.72-forceencrypt, flash SuperSU-v2.72, restore back up from twrp, re-flashed twrp. Can anyone tell me if I'm missing a step or is my phone useless. Thank you in advance!
