Hi,
I cooked my first rom of Softbank X04HT with annoying USIM nag screen removed.
*** This ROM includes OS only ***

Other Mods:
- Sample Pictures, Wallpapers, Videos and Musics (.wmv) have been removed from the rom.
I didnt do many mods on this rom.... because I don't know how to...
Other Mods that I want to do if someone can help me:
- Remove all the default weather location (not from the full list, but the selected cities)
Finally, for people who want the mods, please PM me and keep the link for your own use. And don't forget, this is my first cooked ROM (by newbie) and use it as your own risk.

I have tried this ROM too, thanks to Sky Man:
1) yes it can run on any CID unlocked Diamond
2) yes it can make calls. I had exactly the same problem at first. You have to go to the phone/band settings: by default, it's set on 3G only. U've got to change this according with the service available where you live (automatic, GSM, try and see which setting works better for you)
3) the ROM was running fine and fast but I came a across a major bug, therefore I had to uninstall it: after the phone entered sleep mode there was no way to wake it up. Pressing the 'on' button would have no effect and I had to soft reset every time.
Thanks Sky Man for your hardwork anyway. Hope this can be fixed.
(I reinstalled telsta ROM and the bug has disapeared.

There could be a chance that your radio doesnt work with my ROM (actually, the rom from Softbank). Since I didnt do any tuning or mods on the settings, and I have no problem of using the ROM, therefore, I guess the problem could be radio (Im just gussing)
Other people who used this rom pls comment on it ~

thanks you for your rom. may i know your using radio is what? i didn't meet the sleep problem,but it often doesn't answer. i dont know why, maybe the Chinese ime i installed?

Dial up connection
Hi, this ROM works well except softbank dial-up connection. It seems that this ROM doesn't have any connection setting. Do you know how I can restore softbank connection setting? (I'm using softbank USIM)

After you flash the rom, the softbank setting should be already there and you cant do any modification on it... Im using the same rom with softbank sim card.

the additional data is in the cd-rom which comes with the phone when you buy it. it's not in the rom, and you have to install the data from the cd-rom.
Why does Japanese roms only say 3G and not H? The Japanese ROM i tried only had 3G, but all the wwe roms I tried show H.

i'm trying the x05ht rom in the US on my HTC FUZE(Raphael) but i seem to have the USIM nag on mine too. i was wondering how you removed it from the x04ht rom? maybe you can remove it the same way on the x05ht rom too? i greatly appreciate it!! thanks!!
after a day or two from flashing a new rom, i usually find a problem with the gprs connection when updating the "sense" weather tab or surfing the web!! this really annoys the whole of me! though i dont use this feature a lot (i usually use wifi), i cant survive with a problem in my device UNSOLVED!
i tried to:
1. delete the connections and setup them again using the connection setup from the "settings" tab.
2. hard reset and start over again.
3. contacted my operater customer service, but they didnt help me.
4. updated the "connection setup" database and installed the connections, but always says "you have the recent databse version"
please, if someone is good in this, give help.
btw, my radio ver is 1.00.25.05, and i live in egypt now with "vodafone" as my operator.

Maybe a stupid question but after you install the program have you configure your location and profider settings?
Is your location and profider supported by the program you have installed?

SysConSetupTopaz didn't make a difference! I didn't find it after install & soft-reset!

After installing SysConSetupTopaz you will find the shortcut in start-settings-system folder.When you restart your device the shortcut will
automatically moved to connections folder.

Sorry, but that is what I truly did!! I soft-reseted upon install and found only the old icon for the original connection setup under the settings folder

When i cooked my first ROM i had the same problem.
I don't know why but connectionsetup didin't work.
The original connection setup cannot uninstalled because it is cooked.
I think in this case the best option for you is flashing a new ROM.
Look around there are many good ROMS in here.
Sorry but I can not solve your problem...good luck.

I really appreciate your effort! But the thing is , that I face this issue on every rom I flash!
I think I'll forget about it and try to use an alternative (may be wifi)!

My WIFI encounter problem always auto on and off when activated the WIFI . Try many option but did not help. The last option i wanted to try is replace the WIFI software file at root, try to search at the website can't find any. Anyone of you can point me where can i find the software will be much great. Currently i already upgrade to version 4.2.2 . Many Thanks in advance for your help.

If you are on stock firmware that is not the problem it's a setting actually go to WiFi setting by long touching WiFi icon in quick access notification panel go to settings and there option called I don't remember exactly but it's low signal something will be ticked just untick it and it will be fine... If possible kindly upload screen shot of WiFi settings panel.. ?

I recently purchased a Korean variant of the S4 Mini. The model is SHV-370K. To my findings, its equal to the main version I9195. Is that correct? I do have the NFC chip installed. My question is, can I flash an official ROM like the ones used in the I9195? I have to much KOREAN language apps and I dont think I am prepared to root it. If I can flash an official ROM on this via ODIN?, will I still be able to get the OTA? My current version is 4.2.2. And checking on Sammobile I have the latest. The Korean stuff is just to much of a hassel and I am not sure if I will even get an update. Can I flash an official ROM and not lose warranty and root?
My second question is that I cannot make Group Play work on 2 of these S4 Mini's. They just dont connect. It says Network Lost and sometimes failed to join group. I've tried working it over with NFC and Wifi Direct. Normal gallery pictures and everything send easy, just this app that I really really want to use. Would be great if some one would help me.
My last question is that ChatON keeps giving an Error while checking for push services. I have tried everything. Changed networks, tried Mobile Networks. All my apps are up to date, even the annoying Samsung Push Service. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can only use a korean K rom, or a modify rom for the K version, otherwise you can brick your phone.

Have you found any solution to this problem? I'm also an [almost] happy owner of a Korean-branded S4 Mini and as USSD codes don't work, was told that firmware needs to be changed. But this being specifically a Korean phone, I'm not sure other ROMs out there will even be 100% compatible.

you have to enter it's secret menu, and insert the password, each network has it's own password.

Thanks, but I don't think I have to enter a password, since other phones work without it. Unless it's somehow phone-specific, but my operator reps would probably have told me (instead they just said the firmware needs to be changed). What secret menu are we talking about? perhaps aI could investigate. At any rate, if there someone has managed to flash the Korean version of the phone with a more "universal" firmware, I'd like to know. Thanks!

This secret menu allows you to modify the network, frequencies and other stuff, each korean service privider has it's own password.
try typing this on the dialer.

I found the password on a Russian forum, it's 774632. But I don't see where in that menu I can enable USSD

you don't need the menu for the ussd, korean version has their own set of ussd, they are different from the international version, some are the same , but most are different.

Please forgive me as I'm a total noob, but after your last reply it hit me: we're probably talking about different USSDs. I meant that my operator USSD codes didn't work, the ones that I send to find out my remaining balance and to also enable/disable services etc. (e.g. I would send *444#2#1 to find out my remaining balance), not the phone's own USSD codes (like the service menus etc, e.g. the IMEI check with *#06#). Operator USSD codes just don't work - the phone either sits trying to connect for a few minutes (locking the phone down during this time), or just says that the signal is too weak. So I guess I do need to install a different firmware to fully unlock it.

Mate I have the same problem here. The USSD codes just dont work. My balance check does work though. All I have noticed that USSDS that need two steps dont work. Example to transfer credits, I type *456# and in return it should ask me what number I need to transfer my credits, but it just doesnt work. I have tried the menu but no idea what that is all about. Still cannot find what to do.
Secondly I met some one at the forums who has the same device as ours. HE said installing Cynogen Mod is working and it doesnt effect us having a model of SHV something. LOL. So I dont know if I should go ahead and flash a custom rom. I would rather flash an official rom but no one is helping here and I cant seem to find any. Like maybe we could flash an english rom from UK. Something official like the normal I9195 have! Not some korean ones.

Hey people! I just got an OTA update and all I see new is a Google Drive icon. The update is still on 4.2.2 and not 4.3. It was about 96mb of file size. How can I take out the changelog and read what bug fixes it brings?

I've read about CSC Select app (on google play market), but I think you need root for this to work. I'm not an expert on that though.
Please write here if you manage to get any results (even if negative).

I have been ok with my note3neo since it has been bought.but yesterday, I want to change the animation option and so, search for developer option but I couldnt find it.i know exactly where it was before(option>>> general) but now there is no tab for developer option.so, if you could help me, pls tell me what to do to make it appear again.
