hey developers, i have a s3 att and each time i flash lolipop roms on it, i get an error that says i need to insert simcard. how can i fix this? i use clockmod
For those having NO SIM detected issues, the way I fixed it was to update my bootloader (to MJ2) and baseband (NE4)
bluetooth issue
Nice rom , i still have trouble with bluetooth with my car .
the phone is pair
i try few thing but always the same issues:
when i select a contact on my phone ( should dial and goes on bluetooth ) the phone look to freeze few sec , and no dial
when i dial with the phone , it call but on the phone speaker .
when call from car , it dial , but on the phone speaker phone .
so in fact bluetooth is not working for me
any help will be greatly appreciated

This is an issue right now for a lot of Lollipop roms, especially as it relates to Bluetooth and car connectivity. Usually is when they first start coming out. I'm sure it will be fixed in later releases. I don't use Bluetooth myself so it's one of the few things I can't actually test before putting a build out.

GPS problems?
Anyone else on this rom having trouble getting a GPS lock? I just updated to ne4 thinking that would fix the problem. I've run GPS fix, and GPS status from the play store, and neither have been able to get a GPS lock. Any ideas?

This is another known issue for a lot of people right now.
Again, these builds are still very early. And a lot of these issues may be why we haven't seen more official nightlies being produced. Things will improve with time.

wifi tethering and usb tethering not working
i hv used this rom.bt the wifi tethering and usb tethering are not working.kindly fix them asap

i flashed my phone yesterday and everything works great except the known issues, i had to re-flash again for some reason but after that the play store wouldn't work, it says Google Play Store No Connection Error with a 'retry' button.
today i had to try your v1 Final Version and this gives me another error : unfortunately google play store has stopped fix
i re-flashed my phone for many times and it wouldn't get fixed.
help !

Google play store works fine here, no issues.

yes i can.
in this moments im trying another gmail account .
EDIT: this is weird.. play store works very well now with a new gmail account.
but after re-flash the same room for many times, now its lagging.
Beautiful rom. But i have 37 MB free memory after install it. All on this working too slowly.

New to MW14
First of all, thanks! This SD-ext thing for installing applications is saving my Desire, which is great because I have two other phones with broken screens, and this is saving my phone life.
Couple of questions-
1. is there a way to disable the swipe on the lock screen as in some other MW roms? I think I was on 5 when I could disable the swipe and unlock based on correct PIN entry, and I'd love to see if 14 could do that as well.
2. I cant seem to access the internet via my data connection. Everytime I use the browser, my provider seems to think I am using my phone as a modem. Ive installed and reinstalled several ROMS over the weekend trying to get one that saves me enough space to have the things I need, so I am wondering if this is just their system getting confused and thinking these multiple ROM connections are actually different devices ? (provider is Orange in France).
3. It seems like 5 was a little bit snappier, is that the actual case? Are there other MW ROMS that use the SD-EXT like 14 does? Such a lifesaver, but if this sluggishness continues, I might want to try out a different ROM.
4. My display seems to brighten and darken pretty randomly. Is this a known bug, or just a senstive auto-brightness feature?

No Internet connection via tethering...
Hi everyone!
I have a problem with a tether wifi and usb. In stock settings in this room tethering work (I can connenct to phone over wifi or connect to pc via usb cable) but I don't have internet connection.
In 3d party apps like android-wifi-tether when sets addhoc mode, in log give error in: setting ad-hoc mode, setting essid, channel (others position in log scrren is done/green).
My phone have unlocked bootloader, rooted, yesterday instaled this room with any errors.
What could be causing this?

Also, there is rather an issue. The boot always takes so much time ,ie whn LX logo comes, it stays for a long time(maybe 2 mins) and then only it goes to that 4 dots boot animation of kitkat. This is not just for the 1st boot. I have booted the phone around 10 times and this issue was persistent in each boot. Please gimme a fix on this issue. Thanks.

I am also currently dealing with this issue on my new t989
I had solved it before on my old phone using a combination of WiFi fixer and sqlite editor (Setting Storage>global)
I have tried wiping and adding back (from backups) of files in /etc/wifi and /data/misc/WiFi
I have also tried adding files from another phone to /etc/firmware/wlan/prima and to /persist (both of which were empty)
However the files added to /persist keep wiping themselves
If someone can please give me the correct files for those folders (especially /persist and /etc/firmware/wlan/prima) it would be greatly appreciated, also if someone can tell me how to force the files put into /persist to remain that would be good

I have a problem with my T989. In Poland, the PLAY network uses the PLUS and T-Mobile network. When the phone does not use roaning, it displays just as you would with roaning.
260 01 PLUS
260 02 T-Mobile
260 06 PLAY
Phone reset does not help, delete the data to the default settings helps, but a few days back ill display the name of the network.
What can I do to properly display the name of the network?

Has anyone tried most recent nightly 8/23/2015? Looks like there has been a lot of changes.
Wondering how this rom performs now. I do use tethering alot along with speaker phone and GPS. Are these functioning correctly?
I don't mind to flash Wild Kernel, but also wondering how stable the stock kernel is.
My phone is still running stock android jelly bean and I am planning to re-install soon. Just figuring out what rom to use.

Wierd graphical glitches and freezes.
For some reason, on the 2016/01/11 build, I get occasional graphics corruption when swiping from the lock screen and I return to the home screen. The icons or background show as very corrupted, and it sometimes hiccups for a second then returns to normal. Also, in several OpenGL games, such as Sonic Dash 2, I get this strange screen flickering (the screen flickers black).
The last issue I get, is sometimes the phone will hang at a black screen if I try to turn the screen back on after it had shut off due to inactivity. If I wait a while, sometimes 5 minutes or more, it'll begin responding again, but I don't understand why It's hanging to begin with.

please allow me to bring to you a problem thta is very very stressful.
I have a SM-N976B Note 10+5G, used in 4G/3G network and in 99% of the situation when an incoming call is on the screen, if I respond quick to the call the result is that the call is not established, and the phone is kind of freezing.
I need for almost every call to let the incoming call ring for more then 10 seconds and answer only after this time.
I done several updates and look on the internet for any solution to solve this annoing issue but without result.
Kindly help with any suggestion

In order to anyone here to help you in any meaningful way, would be necessary that you provide the devices status/config.
- Is it rooted?
- Which ROM/Firmware?
- Did you already tried updating with a stock firmware that matches your region/country/provider exactly?
- Mods applied?

From your screenshots I couldn't exactly pinpoint the firmware you've flashed because, as you can see on the link below, there is 2 different N976BXXU6DTH7. They differ by the CSC versions (N976BXXU6DTH7, N976BOXM6DTI2) despite having the same exact build date.

Your baseband version is DTH5 which relates to the initial issue but unfortunately sammobile does not expose the baseband version of neither.
What I may suggest is that:
1st) try the DTH7 one of the above that you are not currently in.
2sd) if still doesn't solve the issue, try an older one with a different baseband.
I can see that the firmwares are only available to fast downloads @ sammobile so I shall suggest using Samfirm to help you on this and, consequently, flash them through ODIN.

i had made some reasearch on this issue and the onclusion was that the firmwares that the phone has are the original and recommended ones.
further I made some teste:
I close all applications on the phone and test receiving calls: answering very quickly works like a charm.
opening various applications like facebook, whattasp, etc and test receiving calls: answering very quickly is not working
so I should conclude that is not a problem of radio modem, but something related to running applications
