Hi....I am using Samsung S2 Tmobile USA T989 phone on 4.0.4 operating system.
The phone is very slow and I am thinking of downgrading to 2.3.6.
Can someone please provide me the firmware for the 2.3.6 ?
Thanks
Jelly bean 4.1.2 stock is quite smooth and stable. Especially after some debloating. ?

Use the newest paranoid Android rom. My wife uses it on her t989, it's perfectly stable and it is super fast. I mean really really fast. It's 4.4.4 too. Best rom she has used by far.

If that's what you want to do, go to www.sammobile.com and make an account. Then, go to www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1 and select the options in the boxes for
TYPE: Smartphone
OS: Android
MODEL: SGH-T989 - GALAXY S II
COUNTRY: USA TMOBILE.
Next, select the 2012 August T989UVLH1 for Gingerbread.
Like everyone else said, I would recomend that you flash the latest TWRP recovery and then flash the latest Paranoid Android 4.4.4.

I rooted and unlocked my T-Mobile note 2 (SGH-T889) and have it running on AT&T network but I need to upgrade my Android version from 4.1.1 to 4.3 and I am wondering how to do this and what rom would be a good one to use.
My Baseband is T889UVALJ1 and kernel version is 3.0.31-598701
Do I use an AT&T rom or a T-Mobile rom?
Thanks for your help!
What are the steps I would need to do in order to get Hotspot Mod on my Galaxy S4 M919n Android 4.3 Baseband MK2?
It's stock and not rooted. Please help
I have a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 (SGH-M919) which is on Android 4.4.4 (M919UVUFNK2), and I would like to flash the Android 4.2.2 bootloader (M919UVUAMDL) on to my phone - how would I go about doing this?
Specifically, how would I go about replacing the Android 4.4.4 bootloader (M919UVUFNK2) with the Android 4.2.2 (M919UVUAMDL) bootloader?
For reference, I have listed the details of my phone below:
Brand/Series/Make: Samsung Galaxy S4
Model Number: SGH-M919
Carrier (Country): T-Mobile (USA)
Android Version: Android 4.4.4
Baseband Version: M919UVUFNK2
Phone Rooted Before?: No
Odin is the answer. But you would have to find a separate bootloader tar file.
Why would you want this is a better question.
