Hi....I am using Samsung S2 Tmobile USA T989 phone on 4.0.4 operating system.
The phone is very slow and I am thinking of downgrading to 2.3.6.
Can someone please provide me the firmware for the 2.3.6 ?
Thanks

Use the newest paranoid Android rom. My wife uses it on her t989, it's perfectly stable and it is super fast. I mean really really fast. It's 4.4.4 too. Best rom she has used by far.

If that's what you want to do, go to www.sammobile.com and make an account. Then, go to www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1 and select the options in the boxes for
TYPE: Smartphone
OS: Android
MODEL: SGH-T989 - GALAXY S II
COUNTRY: USA TMOBILE.
Next, select the 2012 August T989UVLH1 for Gingerbread.
Like everyone else said, I would recomend that you flash the latest TWRP recovery and then flash the latest Paranoid Android 4.4.4.

Hi, I recently bought a new Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100. It based on Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2.
I know the newer upgrades are available. But the problem is, why does my Galaxy Note II always show a dialog box telling that the latest update has been installed? Is there any way to solve the problem? Note: If possible, I want the update by using my Galaxy Note II only. Thank you
thats the latest for n7100...
4.3 are only leaked firmware and still in development.. so we need to wait till its been officially released by samsung for OTA upgrade.

Samsung Galaxy Ace 2
Model number: GT-I8160
Android version: 2.3.6 (Gingerbread)
Baseband version: I8160DXMA1
Build number: GINGERBREAD.DXMA1
I can't find a Jelly Bean firmware for this variant of the Ace 2. Will I be able to use CyanogenMod 11.0 for this?
First you must upgrade your phone to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 before flashing CM11.

How do I do that? My phone says it doesn't have any updates. Kies doesn't show either.

stock FW are not smooth at all.
If you want to have pretty old phone running like it was designed 1 month ago just go with custom ROM, for start try dr. ketan's 4.4.2 V14
4.4.2 is the smoothest one in my opinion. I disable several bloatware by the way.
Happy with my kitkat.
4.4.4 touchwiz - no alternative, smoothest of all
Hello guys,
so recently if you haven't heard Pokemon Go was released and of course as a huge fan I want to play it. But it requires 4.3 or higher. So i want to upgrade my 4.2.2 to 4.4.2. I went to wikipedia to see if it has an official upgrade and it says it has but not in all regions,(The S4 mini got the android 4.4.2 'KitKat' update on June 2014 (though not in all regions), bringing some minor UI changes as seen on the Galaxy S4 and S4 Active.) and I tried from my phone to search for an update but it says there is not one so I guess I'm not from those regions . So is there a way to manually upgrade to 4.4.2 ? The model number is GT-19195.
Thank you.
Region is not important. You can download and flash official firmwares in sammobile.
Be sure that you have backup before flashing firmware. Because you can lost your data

Thank you.
I recommend to not update!
4.4.2 is the worst update ever for s4 mini
1.Terrible battery
2.Bad performance
