[Q] Can't Connect with USB - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

I wear CM11 in, but lately, I can not connect to the pc via USB, I've installed the driver samsung, then I try to "mount storage" in CWM, still can not
Strangely, when I try flasing original stock rom with Odin, DOWNLOAD MODE is not connected / unreadable in Odin.
This is called a brick?
What should I do?

[Q] Can't flash recovery, HOX cant connect to PC

Hi Guys,
I am trying to root my HOX, i was able to unlock the bootloader and everything went smoothly up until the point where i am trying to flash the recovery on my phone. The problem is that now the HOX device isnt detected on my pc and i cant access the sdcard. Everytime i plug USB in to pc it says "Unable to connect to PC".
1. What should i do now to complete the recovery flash?
2. What can i do to fix the USB connection issue?
Many Thanks!
Try this: Go to Settings, Developer options, USB debugging (Tick block to enable). Also it might be driver related try to reinstall HTC Sync

Unable to connect phone to pc via usb

Hi,
I have rooted my phone with rootbox rom and i cannot seem to connect to pc using usb cable,I have tried everything (replacing cable, installed another rom liquidsmooth, updating drivers, troubleshooting with kies) nothing seems to work no matter what i do the windows still shows mtp driver installation failed.I would be very thankful if someone could help me out here,..Oh yeah and i am able to connect it to pc from recovery by mounting usb storage but not in normal mode
I had this issue with 3 different phones of my own. I ultimately had to remove the Samsung drivers and reinstall them. Do a google search for captivate drivers, you should find an xda post on this somewhere.

[Q] Device not recognised by pc.

My HTC one x running cyanogen mod kitkat 4.4
whenever i connect my phone my computer is unable to recognise the device
I've tried everything uninstalled the drivers but nothing works
the device is not recognised in fastboot mode also.
pls help me resolve this issue.
try using a different usb cable. reinstall drivers, a genuine htc usb cable should work. try this as well (worked for me): http://adbdriver.com/downloads/
also in your device manager, check if there is "android phone" with yellow triangle. right click it and update driver manually
If reinstalling drivers fails, and you need to get to stuff stored on it, you could try and mount the storage in your recovery (CWM or TWRP) and get stuff off.

[Q] USB stopped working after failed odin flash

Hi, I recently tried using a stock image with odin for my galaxy tab pro 8.4. Odin started flashing but failed when sending system.img.
I tried this process twice and got the same result even using a different USB port in may computer and a different cable but, after the second try (and as the first one I disconnected the computer and restarted into download mode), the tablet usb stopped working.
When I connected it in my first two tries, I got the typical windows sound when you connect anything in the usb, now I dont get anything and not even in the device manager. I tried with another computer and got the same problem, no usb connected sound and nothing in device manager.
My device is now stuck in odin mode. If I try to reboot normally I get into download mode but with the message "Firmware upgrade encounterd an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again".
I have tried deleteing de drivers and installing kies but still nothing.
Can you help me please?

Click to collapse
For anyone facing this, you have to wait for the tablet to run out of battery and then connect it again to the computer. It will be detected as before.

Unable to see phone on PC to transfer files

I'm having trouble connecting my phone to my PC to transfer files. The phone never seems to register on windows, there are no "device inserted" sound at all and the phone is not listed in the device manager. On the phone, it is not even showing the little notification to change USB mode from Charging to File Transfert. Even in the settings directly, the option does nothing. Latest Google USB drivers are installed.
When the phone is in the bootloader, it shows up in the windows device manager with "Unknown usb device (device descriptor failed)".
I've tried multiple PC and cables, rebooting in safe mode, same thing!
I'm running TWRP recovery with stock ROM and ElementalX kernel, might that be an issue ? Thanks
