Only what you see on these forums. It's ok but only you can decide if it's stable enough. I am waiting a while.

Every ROM has bugs of some sort in my experience...even stock ones. User experience will vary on any given ROM due to how it is used and the apps you have installed. That being said, Android 5.0 is new and the only ROMs currently available are a couple AOSP. These are in alpha so the choice is yours.

You don't need roms for that, you need kernels try Franco's kernel. Cynogen is the most stable and bug free ROM out there.

Not just that - please update your CM11 to one of the OFFICIAL nightlies, available here: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=maguro
Hey Thank Wajeeh4616,
Please can you give me link to download for 4.4.2 and do i need to flash that kernel right. Sorry don't have much idea about Kernel,
Please if you could provide me some more help in this.
Thanks a lot.
Just one quick question after flashing with "cm-11-20140322-NIGHTLY-maguro.zip " CM11 Nightly, means Official CM11 because i was on "UNOFFICIAL" doest they make any conflict? If so then ill now i m moving on new cm11 "cm-11-20140322-NIGHTLY-maguro.zip " and i need to also flash with Franko Kernal ?

Get the latest version from here and be sure to select the correct device or you know..... Brick etc...
You can find many kernels on the development section of your device
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/development this is for maguro
You can use others but I prefer using Franco kernel as it is very easy to flash (you can download it's app from play store just type Franco kernels and download it. You can use auto flash option from it)
Remember these things are very tricky,it can make your device unusable if you install it incorrectly so..... Take care
And yeah nightlies are official so you better get them from their website as they are fully tested and it is less likely to go anything wrong with them
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ex-samsung-galaxy-nexus-roms-kernels-t1792896 check it out and be sure to
thank that person and yeah it is for maguro

I know that people generally stick to Cyanogenmod due to it's stability, but I think it is overrated due to the fact that they support so many devices. I would prefer ROMs where the devs actually have the device, and focus on the device since they plan to have it for a while.
With that being said, here is my favorite ROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/development/rom-omnimetal-linaro-omni-rom-t2550477
I haven't had any issues (like apps that force close) on it, and apps run fine. In fact, I have also switched to ART and it is pretty stable and blazingly fast. My test was its battery life, and it lasted me close to 7 days on standby with groove ip running on it (receiving calls, texts, etc.), and 2 days with active usage with a sim card.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for atleast reply and suggesting me some ROM which is i ever try.. but now i am little confused, for selecting ROM, I made my mind as per last reply ROM from CM11 Nightly and Kernel From Franco but now OMNI i need to learn about that too.
Can anyone have suggestion on that or give me little more light on ROM.
Thanks
Its good to have choices
If you are new to flashing ROMs, usually CM 11 is an excellent choice.
However, to me speed, low RAM consumption and good battery life matters, so here are the reasons why I chose that ROM:
1. Linaro toolchain - Here is a link to explain why it is faster than standard CM:
http://www.androidauthority.com/linaro-android-is-up-to-twice-as-fast-as-stock-android-92831/
2. Dirty_V kernel - For speed, most of us Nexus users feel it is the best. It is an improvement over Franco's kernel
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/development/kernel-dirtyv-t2613655
So, I usually choose a ROM which uses the linaro toolchain. I also got a ton of cool features like notifications, omniswitch, etc. which you can read about in the ROM link from my previous post.
In the end, I am just giving you suggestions. Why don't you try creating a nandroid backup and then flashing many ROMs to see which one you like? Using the nandroid backup, you could always come back to the tried and trusted CM 11 !
Here is a small intro to nandroid backups which may be useful even in the future in case you mess up your phone with a bad update:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/NANDroid
Hope this helps! :good:
I'm switch between 2 Roms.
Remix
Vanir
Bothe stable and fast.
CU
Litening
Thanks really ! I'll definatly read and try on of that, but first I'll take nandroid backup and learn how to restore etc.
CM11 is good but some time its response very lately specially when charging.

You might want to try omnirom (google for omnirom download, you want the maguro version).
They push daily updates (I install updates every 1-3 weeks). They closely track AOSP (meaning a new AOSP will be made available ASAP). It's a very stable rom and I'm running it my nexus 4 and a modified version on my Galaxy Nexus. It's been incredibly stable and reliable so far. Oh, and its 4.4.2
No try omnimetal! No try vanir! No try liquidsmooth! No try Xenonhd!. So you need to test everything. These threads are useless and not allowed. Choose one you like. Every rom is stable unless specified otherwise..

Pick the one from the omnirom.org download page. All others are remixes - cool stuff you can get in this forum, but not the most stable experience.

Hi, thanks for your response.
I'm in the Netherlands and use vodafone, not sprint. Still CM11 is good?
Which is better? M or Nightly?
Which of below CM11 is better, more stable, more reliable?

Snapshots are always more stable and bug free. They are very close to being daily driver- like. But many of our good friends here have reported the last cm11 nightly is very good and working fine. U can try the nightly. Good luck.

sooner or later you will be bored with vm and use ploiki's S5 rom... Thats the best so far ... for me 4days without charging. Ultra power saving mode etc
I installed CM11 M12.
I like it a lot but noticed many minor issues which I won't discuss here, but 1 major issue I want to mention.
It's the inability to move apps to external SD. I tried Link2SD, Folder something, both not satisfactory.
But over all I'm happy with it.
Thanks for all advices guys.
You can try my S5 ROM for S4 Mini i9192. It's very stable.

Try Original S5 Experience for your S4 Mini. ploiki has stopped making his ROM and this ROM (well my ROM) is very stable and there are 2 bugs, but not noticeable.

i tested all the available roms for I9192, but so far i find the PAC MAN ROM the best one. I did not notice any bug at all. smooth, stable, n fast better than carbon rom(my opinion). I also tested cm12 based roms but only thing i liked about its fluid thats it. I didnt like lollipop notifications, qs tiles. and also its too bright and many things still dont work.

Well done that I found. It was necessary to use and enjoy. Now all references removed.
I have an other question:
Which is the best, stbale, and clean STOCK ROM? Which is the best base for modded ROMs, like Ploiki?

Above rom can also be used as base for modding and themes as it is deodexed.

[Q] What rom do you guys want? I'll build it.

I want everyone to tell me a rom they favor, that's not here already, or that was stopped on development a few versions back. Which ever rom (or maybe couple of roms) I see most, I will build. Check my signature for the ROMs I've done on the S5.
How about CyanogenMod ?
lollipop 5.1 for samsung galaxy tab 3 7.0 wifi
Build it and I will come! Test it! sent from KitKat 4.4.2

Pleaaase any lollipop rom on sm-t210 pleasssse
And if you want there is this rom on tab 2 7in you can port it

Any lollipop rom really!!
But my favorite is validus rom
I'd like a slimmed down rom for the p5210 that supports Chromecast so that I can continue to use this as my entertainment hub at home. Right now I am running stock KK. I have removed some unnecessary apps and installed a lot of good stuff but the limited ram here really makes this tab sluggish at times. Even if you could port the slim rom for the p5200 to this device I'd be ecstatic. S.O.S.
Maybe?
An updated version of PAC ROM for the SM-210/R would be super awesome!
Any updated rom for sm-t113, i will help test .. currently there is no recovery nor any custom rom for this new tab 3. None at all.... thanks in advance!
Cheers!
I REALLY want a stock lollipop 5.1 ROM for SM-T210R! There is a Galaxy Tab 3 Lite lollipop ROM that you might be able to port over or build from...
Low ram use with long battery life that dual boots kitkat and this
I would love to have a 4.4.2 KK rom on SM-T110 ported from T210, that would be awesome, i don't know why samsung won't do Official KK for Lite T110. I can be a tester ofcourse

Yeah, I wish someone can continue development on the existing CM 11 ROM. But that will be hard to do, especially when the proprietary drivers are hard to reach. Or, what is there I can do to help speed up this ROM's development?
CM finally for T211
pls
A clean fast 4.4.2 ROM. That will support Kodi, so it can be used as a media center (addon).
Now lets just hope it's for the SM-T210 model.
Hmmm kodi does sound awesome
If you want to do the Galaxy Tab 3 community a favour, you could build a pure, AOSP ROM for the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 (SM-T210/R). There practically are none, the one's I could find run some deodoxed and/or debloated form of the stock Touchwiz for 4.1.2 or 4.4.2. A Cyanogmod would be nice, 10,11, or even 12 and 12.1 be amazing!! And I would be more than willing to test the ROM on my SM-T210R.
A gaming rom with internet streaming via kodi that can also boot into kitkat might be a good idea to make for gamers it should use less than 50 mb of RAM to be MLG ... unless jellybean has reasons to be existent... im pretty sure everybody likes kitkat better
Yeah current minimal requirements for Kodi Android (current/latest version) is 4.4.2 so anything above will do.
For the love of god, PLEASE, someone build ANYTHING for t110 beyond 4.2.....how the hell is this tab stuck on jb???? I'm so confused!!!! I've never seen a device get the red headed step child treatment so bad in my entire life!
Bonus points for AOSP, or even ANYTHING not touchwiz.....hell, I'd rather see iOS running on this thing!
Seal 4 was a good rom but would like to see if lollipop can run on this tab 3 t210r. Will test.

Most stable ROM

Hello guys.
Could you please suggest me the most stable ROM (your opinion) for my GALAXY NEXUS i9250 ?
I am not interesting in latest Android features I am interesting in stability.
Thanks !
Unlegacy Aosp KitKat 4.4.4 with kernel 1gb is speed and estable.
I've tried android 6 and 7, and for me android 5.1 (CM12.1) is the best blend of stability and newness. Things multitask well, and I don't get video crashes. Unfortunately it's not being updated anymore, and I don't know if or when the newer releases will be as stable. But for now, it's new enough, because the last build I've found is not even a year old yet!
i think the slimrom 6 is my choice because it's stable but when install too many app it will lag again.

Hello, sorry to bother you. Does anyone have a download link please? In the CM thread the links are dead unfortunately. Thanks.

LOS 14.1 works stable for me. You just need to turn off the system animations.

Stable ROMS?

I'm currently using an S3 as a daily since a friend of mine generously donated his so I can install ROMS.
I'm having heating and performance issues, and I can't find the right ROM to install to this device.
I'm currently using LineageOS (7.1.2) and it's not stable at all. There's too much bugs and lag.
Anyone got cool 7.1.2 stable ROMS that I can install on this device?
I would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
The most stable ROM is going to be a stock unrooted ROM.

That's not what I meant.. The only reason why I'm using a custom ROM is because the apps I use don't support the stock ROM.

Make sure you turn off Adaptive display and LiveDisplay. This should give your phone a massive speed boost as it did for mine. It`s the first thing I do whenever I flash Lineage OS on any device.
However many Galaxy S3 T-999 has been plagued by another problem for some months. Whenever I flashed any custom ROM (I have tried CM 13, CM 14/Linage OS, Mokee), The phone`s goes on mute mode. It makes no sound whatsoever. But it works fine on stock 4.3 but like you said many apps don`t support it anymore.
