Yeah its based on cm12 and we already have it ..we have cm12 rom and other roms based on cm12
This should be in the Q&A section. Please report your own thread and let the moderators know.
Second, this is the article which explains how to get it. It's very straight to the point and with a little knowledge easily understandable from the pictures alone:

You are misunderstanding what stock means
Stock ROM = the ROM made by the phone manufacturer, complete with all their customisations and skins. We have a stock LG lollipop here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/updatenew-firmware-d85520dkdzpoland-t2960848
What you want is an AOSP-based ROM like cyanogenmod, which will look as close as possible to Google's untouched Android releases. We have a CM Lollipop release here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-t2945191
In future post your questions in the Q&A forum where they belong
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help
Ok guys thank you all.It is CM12 but i didnt know it means Cyanogenmod 12.So i couldnt find anything.
Delete thread pls.Sorry for inconvenience.

This is fake by the way, so people, don't bother downloading it.
fake!
Thread closed because the ROM in question is not really based on Android 5.0. Please only use if you want something that "looks" like lollipop.
Thanks!

Hey man, for me the best AOSP rom I have used was the LiquidSmooth v3.2 rom which is +. 4.4.4 kitkat. Very smooth and stable. You can also try the slimkat 4.4.4 from neozone. Also very good.
But currently Im on stock touchwiz 4.4.2 with xposed installed.
Just got tired of all the small bugs in the aosp roms.
Hi can anyone can tell me which ROM is the best for lg g3 and you have try it out already.

To figure out what's best for you, there's only one way: try yourself.
I can give you a heads up on what to try.
If you like a really fast, battery saving ROM, go with official CM12 (that's what i am using ATM, builds are stable and, at least for me, no big bugs left).
If you like close to stock with all LG apps, try a custom ROM based on stock. I tried cloudy ROM which was OK back then, no idea what it's like now.
In general, make sure to read a few pages in the corresponding thread.

Can't stand Jellybean.
Anyone know if anybody out there has ported a CM11 to the T705?
Forum search is down right now and a Google of XDA didn't come up with anything.
EDIT: I MEANT I HATE LOLLIPOP. NOT JELLYBEAN.
It doesn't run jellybean. It comes with kitkat.
You don't need to search just look in the development sections.

I know it runs KitKat, but the only CM I've found is Jellybean.
I did look but didn't see anything. Which is why I did a search.
And didn't find anything.
Which is why I posted to see if anyone knew of something I may have missed.
Not all dev's are on XDA.
You didn't say that , you just said you hated jellybean.
Where is this Jellybean port?.I find it hard to believe someone has backported CM11 to this device using the jellybean branch seeing as It comes with kitkat 4.4.2 as stock.
As far as I can see in the development sections there is both a CM11 Kitkat and CM12 lollipop port for this device.

Good grief.
I'm not sure why I said "JellyBean". I meant "Lollipop". I hate Lollipop.
Lol that must have been confusing.
Where did you find a CM11 ROM? I searched now that search is working. Found lots of CM11 threads but none saying they worked with the T705?
My mistake. Looks like the roms are actually T700 only except for the lollipop Rom.
Hello!
I just bought a G3 D855 (arrives next week), and I don't know where to start. Should I start out with the stock experience? Should I go straight into the AOSP arena? I'd love some insight where possible. Coming from Samsung and Touchwiz I wonder if the LG skin is as annoying?
If someone could recommend a stock rom to start with that would be awesome or offer any insights I would really appreciate the help! - Looking around the CloudyG3 V2.5 looks promising -
I don't yet know what rom will be on the device - I believe it will be 4.4.2. Should I do an OTA update to Lollipop or what would be ideal? Just root and flash?
Finally which method to root? The one click method by avicohh? Is there another I should try?
Apologies for all the noob questions - just want to do right by my new hardware!
Thanks in advance for any insights!

If you want a best camera quality with ois working then stock based rom is best for you.If you love simplicity & ready to give up LG features then use CM or AOSP based roms. Its your personal preference.LG G3 camera hasn't been ported to cm or aosp based roms yet..Its your personal preference. You can use cloudy rom if you want g4 touch with slight modifications over stock lollipop. On the other side there are many LG UI themes are available in store. Those are pretty cool. You can try it out.
If you want to root then use this software as this is the easiest way..

Also a self help thread should not be created in the development forum since this section is dedicated to discussion most closely pertaining to roms and development in general and so a mod can help you out here.
And while we're at it, you might need give the roms a try before finding what exactly is best for you. CM or stock both work equally well. In general view I prefer stock since it's better at times in terms of stability and other software features. CM has been a hit and miss for me. Previously used to own a Note 3 till it got jacked out of my pocket. Worked pretty well on that but I prefer stock on this.
Generally speaking the phone's a good combination of power and aesthetics. You won't regret your stay here since there's so much to do especially since the bump root. Have at it and feel free to ask any questions.

My Apologies! I should have posted in the Q & A section - astute moderation!
I shall start digging to find out what "bump root" is all about. Asingha94 recommended DP root
Thank you!
