Will not boot.
Hello i recently tried flashing this rom onto my htc one and i got an error. I kept repeatedly getting errors until i realized i needed to update twrp. Next, i flashed it again and it didnt boot. Then, i flashed it AGAIN and it booted. It loads a black screen with a notification bar and a pop up that says "Setup wizard failed to load." Twrp is updated to the latest version and im flashing the latest version of this rom. Please help.

Make sure your firmware is current and that you are wiping system and data before flashing the rom and Gapps.

Thank you. i factory reset and wiped my cache and everything. However, i am not sure about the firmare update. Dont i need an ruu to do that? Do you mind explaining that in a tad bit more detail for me. Much appreciated.
mms verizon htc one
I have searched the forum and found people with similar problem, but couldn't find a solution.
I can receive group/mms messages but cannot send them.. This isn't just liquid but any AOSP rom, I try to install.
I am on latest firmware 5.28 and mdmower twrp 2.7.1.2, I always wipe everything and do clean install.
I have tried reverting to stock recovery and factory reset, then installing liquid 3.2 milestone.
This does not happen on sense based roms, I have used nusense art, and no problems at all.
I have tried manually adding apn and rebooting but still does not work.
Any help you can give would be appreciated, rom is flawless otherwise, The best AOSP rom out for my device.

Here are some bugs I've found:
- Turning on flashlight from the lockscreen crashes the device after ~30 seconds.
- Portrait lock mode (at least from quick settings) does not work, auto-rotate seems to still happen.
- It never asked me to set up my device, so I had to manually create my "profile" in the contacts app
- Under my profile image in quick settings it says "null null".
- Various other random crashes that I haven't figured out the cause of yet

Yes, you have the wrong version of TWRP installed. You need the build specifically for the verizon m7, not the generic m7 build.

This update seems to have fixed all the bugs I was previously experiencing Great work!
The ad blocker doesn't seem to be working thoroughly though, not sure why.
I too am having this issue sometimes with the camera.

Same boat, flashlight crashes device, same as using the camera (specially in HDR mode).
Also I'm getting random audio glitches only with POWERAMP when turning the screen off or during playback.
From time to time it crashes.
Also question do I need to wipe everything everytime a new update comes?

and when playing music from bluetooth ,the music stops playing for few secs and again starts playing ,so basically it plays for 30-40 secs ,pauses for 1-2 secs and continues....any fix?

Slightly dumb or naive question, but between this and the CM version (both maintained by santod), what are the major differences if any? I'm trying to pick a ROM to use and keep up to date, and figure it's easier to pick one of the two then switch between both.
I'm primarily looking for a stable, smooth ROM, and not sure if either really jumps out as better. I like the CM version but have had some BT issues/crashes, and not sure if anyone who's tried both would have any thoughts on major differences between the two?

Wi-Fi works, you have to set SELinux to permissive for Wi-Fi to work. You are on the right firmware.

In Mobile network sharing I only see "USB Tethering option" and no "Internet pass through" option. May I ask how to connect my HTC to Internet through a PC or laptop?

ROM Flashing Questions
Ok, just so I am clear, follow these Upgrade Phone Software and Firmware/Radios steps:
1. Download Rom (includes recommended kernel)
2. Download Firmware/Radio Zip (No Boot Image?)
3. Update Firmware/Radio
a. fastboot oem rebootRUU
b. fastboot flash zip firmware.zip (Causes halt with did not finish message, re-run)
c. fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
d. fastboot reboot-bootloader(Firmware and Radios are now updated)
4. Full wipe and flash new ROM using TWRP Recovery (which writes the boot and system partitions)
A few Questions:
I see terms like “Firmware” and “Radios”. I know what firmware is. Does “firmware” mean Bootloader and “radios” mean wireless firmware? Where do they get flashed to? Is there some special reserved flash memory that stores that software? Sometimes I see “firmware” what includes new “radios”. Does that mean that it’s a single zip package with both bootloader and radio software? Because I know that you can install them separately.
Let’s say I have KitKat and I install the newest firmware (bootloader and radio combo) as required for Lollipop before I flash my new Lollipop ROM (as the instructions always seem to say to install the firmware and radios first). Will I still be able to use my phone with KitKat? Or will that break my original ROM or not allow me to use the wireless capabilities until I wipe and flash the Lollipop ROM? Are they backward compatible?
Any explanations and/or links to help me understand this better would be greatly appreciated.
Been running 5.0.2 version of this rom for a few days now and I've got to say. I love it! Everything works: Bluetooth, mms, camera, you name it. Plus, great battery life: 3-4 hours screen on time.
The only thing missing for me is visual voicemail. Does a VVM app that is compatible with lollipop even exist. I did a bit of a search and found one apk that installs and opens. But it is unable to connect to voicemail box. Any ideas?
Has anyone attempted to encrypt their phone on this ROM? I need it for EAS.
I do not want suggestions on how to avoid the security functions.

Group sms doesn't appear to be working in the sms app. I used to resolve this on other roms like viper by flashing a Verizon modded apk that andybones did. Any chance of getting stock messaging to work on this before Verizon drops the new official sense 6 messaging apk?

Dark Google boot animation
I had the same problem with the dark Google boot animation. It would just sit there and spin. If I turned the phone sideways I could see half of the first page of start up instructions. Choosing a different boot animation got me to the setup wizard. Thanks for the ROM.

Hello I am about to install this rom and have been looking over the thread a bit to make sure i dont run into any problems during or after install. 3g not working and apn keeps unloging me from network, when disabled no probs except no internet... Any ideas?
E: switched wifi hotspot on and disabled adb and it worked...

Hi, i have got this rom for 2 weeks. At the beginning it was fast etc. Now it cant even kepp launcher in memory? When i want to open any app for few mins, then i wan to back to homescreen it is loading all apps and widgets.. Also i cant back to my apps which i used few seconds/minutes ago cuz it's loading like a new open. When i had viperx 4.2.2 it could keep uc browser and some pages for few weeks, and when i wanted to open, it took 1 second for me. Now im feeling like on my 1st galaxy spica.
Is that normal?

I tried to install your latest version crdroid-5.0.2-20150121-endeavoru on my HTC One X but I got only an infinit HTC image. I am not very familiar with this things but I think I did what the instructions said:
- start on recovery mod (I am using TWRP v2.6.0.0, the one I used the only time I installed a custom rom);
- installed "crdroid-5.0.2-20150121-endeavoru" and "pa_gapps-stock-5.0.1-BETA12-20150116-signed" and did a data wipe in the end;
- reboot.
As I said, after restarting, I get the HTC start image and nothing progresses. Any idea what I am doing wrong (and how to make my phone back to work)?

If you put the ROM zip on your PC and open the zip file (not unzip) you'll see a boot.IMG inside,extract the boot.IMG to your pc. I'm assuming you've got the fastboot controls on your PC.

recently I've installed the ROM wich is a great build I must say. The experience is smooth and I haven't got any random reboots. But when I reboot the phone, it gets stuck on the HTC logo. After 3 reboots it will work normal again. Sometimes the WIFI doesn't work after a reboot and I have to reboot it again.

Another problem I have is that the AdBlocker isn't working (I still have advertisements in apps) although I've downloaded the latest host files.

Probably some things are fixed in the newest build, but I can't find the changelog of it on XDA. It's there! And how do I update my ROM (I am used to OTA updaters, idea?)? Just dirty install the new ROM?
The answer is dirty flashing. (just install the ROM and clear cache and dalvik (I guess))

Thank you team for a very good rom. I have an HTC One X [Endeavoro] and have experimented with many roms over time. I always fall back onto JB Sense 5 Blade Elite 2.0 with Lyapota mods flashed.
The CM KitKat roms just didn't tick all the boxes for me. Functionality v battery life.
But I am so impressed with this Rom, especially so early in the development.
With crdroid 5.0.2-20150210, I am running the native launcher with PA Gapps mini. Touch recovery 6.0.4.8 gave me a problem restoring the back up but after allowing root access in dev options (I don't know if that made a difference) and flashing twrp-recovery-hox-2.8.1.0 the twrp back up restored perfectly. The Rom is so smooth, battery life is great and everything works!

If you hold your finger on the screen and the pages display, there is a small home icon at the top of your current home screen, just move it to the one you want, It works.

I've been using this rom for 2 days now and everything works. I've found that swipe on the Android keyboard doesn't work. Other than that great rom and great job!
Charging notification on home screen?
It's not a big deal at all, love the rom, but just today I noticed after I took it off the charger the lock screen still says charging. I don't know if it's just me but I figured I'd mention it.
When I use "quick reply" to respond to a text from the stock texting app, it'll reply fine but it leaves the message that I replied to as unread.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Just got a call then my gf texted me saying she got a call from the same number and they left her a voicemail so I logged into my voicemail and even though I didn't have a voicemail notification, they did leave me a message.

Video Playback
Is there any known issue with playback of videos from Facebook? Both in app and on Chrome I get a message saying "sorry an unknown error occurred while trying to play this video." Anything that tries to use the native video player I would think.

I know there are lots of other things to work on, but is there any way we can get dotted circle battery or other custom battery icons. Would LOVE it. Hell I'm no sure if CM has this. rooting and flashing custom roms is a serious business. When a step is listed it makes no sense to skip. Do you have a recovery loaded and functional? If you do, download a flashable superuser zip and flash in recovery. If not, better sharpen your search skills and find how to proceed.

Hey, I'm new around here although not new to rooting phones, and flashing Rom's. However when it came to flashing a CM mod or a euphoria mod, I had no idea as to how to sign in with my Google account to get my contacts and everything into my phone. Must I have GApps downloaded? I believe the devs list having to flash a gapps program as a part of the steps of installing a CM rom.
Is anyone else having an issue with NFC? I didn't see anything mentioned in the threads, my apologies if this is a known bug.
Everything else seems to be running pretty great.
baked-in density change issue

First all thank you for such a great rom.
Small issue i noticed seems baked-in density changer no longer works. It certainly worked on your previous version. I noticed if you set the number then leave the settings menu altogether and come back it doesn't even same what number you set to.
Not sure If this is due to a custom change you applied or a change from cm.
Thought i mention it.

Loving the ROM! However ive encountered something that might just be a problem on my side but whenever i try to download something from the internet browser, it tells me that it cannot be downloaded. The directory it tries to save files too i believe it doesnt exist. Is there a way i can change where files are being saved? Thanks again.

Stock and instagram cameras are not working, but snapchat's IS working for me!
From my experience with the rom, open camera is working really good.

You can also take a picture with open camera/nexus camera and then share it with instagram/snapchat. A few extra steps but it works

So I am running the cyanide L shift kernel version of lolipop or android 5 and I was wondering what the differences are between the two...
Is it the Launcher used? or Is Cyanide L and Liquid Smooth the firmware and the Launchers are a totally different thing? I'm not having any issues with my build right now... its running smooth like butter (only negative thing is my data wifi signal is really bad... I updated to NC1 but heard I may need to go to NC2 or NC4?? I dunno... anyways whats the differences? and I don't mean one is cyanide the other is Liquid smooth... I mean what are the actual differences in detail please...
I really really don't like the launcher (nova) used in the cyanide L build...

scheduler
Hi i want to thank you for the great work your doing. Im having issues with changing the i/o scheduler in the performance menu. No matter what i pick it stays as row as soon as i exit settings and apply on boot doesnt work either. I have tried clean flash reboot clear cache wipe dalvik and no luck. The only way i can make it stay is by another app.

No matter how many time I install the driver it's always "Not running, or Driver Status: Abnormal."
I downloaed the se Linux change, and it set it to permissive. Everytime the phone resets it goes back to enforcing. WHy won't it stay on permissive? I am using the default kernel with the LiquidSmooth

Have you tried installing a different kernel yet? I have shift kernel installed on my LS LP and VIPER is working smoothly on my phone.

Camera
I flashed latest version "v4.0-2015-01-27", disabled and wiped data for stock Camera app, installed both Open Camera and Nexus Camera and neither are working. The window just goes black and crashes. Any idea on how to fix? People were saying it worked earlier in the thread so maybe it broke in a more recent update, would flashing an older version fix it?
This more updated that the 5.0.2 LP version?
Is this ROM more updated than the 5.0.2 LP ROM that you have fenixus??

Hey. I really like this ROM, however I have a problem with calls. When someone calls me, the phone doesn't ring, just vibrates (sometimes it vibrates just once and that is it). THat is very sad because this ROM is so smooth and fast. Does this happen only on my phone? and also, I am on the slimkat now with cyanogenmod based recovery, so whenever I flash this rom or any other lollipop based ROM, I get the message from the recovery that I may lose the root access. I always chose the Fix option and everything runs just fine with the root access. But, I get this message everytime I go to recovery. Thank you for your great work. Oh, and just to clarify, the above mentioned problems happen on the newest build (3/6/2015) and the previous build (don't remember which one specifically).

Get with fenixus on the main thread on the calling issue. You may have to provide logcats for him. As for the second problem, I believe SuperSU should be automatically flashed when the ROM is flashed, not sure of that's a recovery issue, but I know the auto flashing of SuperSU works on TWRP...

This suffers from the same thing every Slim rom does.
Anytime you set your default Ringtone, when you restart it defaults back to default. I guess because it is on the External SD card. Is there no way around this?
Another thing that is happening is everytime i restart the phone it has to update Google Play services.
I am in the middle of installing the ROM.
When I did the same ROM before, it took a few minutes to install, this time it's just stuck there it looks like.
Have I done something wrong? its been 15minutes or so. I will wait longer.

Data loss after prl
Favorite rom by far. Data was working fine all day until about 11or12 when it automatically updated itself prl and services ever since then, data has been lost.

This is my daily smooth as butter cant wait for torchlight and wifi calling to be fixed
I downloaded this and flashed it 3 different times, each time it would boot fine get the usual maps error, etc. But after about an hour each time, my setting stopped working. Very frustrating as its a great rom otherwise. are there any work around for this?
edit:
i believe i figured out the problem. Went into app info and reset the data for the "settings" app. I had taken off all the quick settings and i think that may have been the problem. Seems to be working fine after that. So must be a bug if you change the quick settings it crashes.

No prob w/ SwiftKey here. Works fine on my end. Have you tried to wipe data on the app?

apparently many of us hAVE BAD DOWNLOADS. I really am getting tired of hearing from many devs that its a bad download. I also have got an error installing the rom that says error with zip something with the binary. And someone on the main thread for the rom also just reported the same thing and this is also my third attempt with two different downloads.
Anybody else notice floating messages not working or is it only me?

Netflix
Am I missing something here, I cant get netflix to load just says netflix with a red ring that keeps spinning. I switch kernels to stock and loads right up. I cant find the emotion kernel link to re download and install after switching. Is there a fix i can do to get netflix working? I know if i can with switching kernels get it going and back to the other it will continue working.
Ok everything is great so far except maps keeps foreclosing. Every time I open maps it says unfortunately maps had stopped. I tried reseting data still same thing. Anyone else having the same problem?

Delete from system apps using titanium back up and re-install maps from store and works great. Make sure after deleting the app to re-start phone or you may have it still installed or update tab when you go into the store.

As long as you opened Netflix with the stock kernel you will be good once you flash back to Emotion. Any chance you can share the stock kernel you are using? The only one I have found a link to put me into a bootloop.
