This rom includes root functionality?
I'm currently running LP 20A stock rooted, can I just flash this one and I'll be fine? Or do I need to return to KK and then flash this one?
Thanks.

It is a stock rom so You have to root it again. Just download the newest supersu from chainfire. You don't need to go back as long you have a open recovery like twrp.

So basically, just to confirm, what I need to do is to flash the .zip ROM and then just flash Super SU and root will be working?

Hope so. Still waiting for the link. I'm on 20c and root isn't that easy to install. (it's the linuxSE kernel which makes it really difficult)
I had to install supersu then go into supersu settings and disable and reenable it. That way it worked for me. Some have no problems with supersu.
If you're not sure you have to wait for chupa with a little modiefied kernel.
Will tell more after trying it out.

Root problems
1. after flashing rom in recovery i have question ,,you don't have root. install root?" i must install or reboot without root?
2. system is starting
3. reboot, and i flash supersu 2.37 in recovery and i must ,,wipe dalvik/cache" or not?
4. root not working - ,,there is no su binary installed..."
What i must choose in 1 and 3??? Someone tell me?

Try a 20d kernel with init.id. ootherwise it is kind of luck if it is working or not

I have many problems using this rom.
1. Not working to Take pictures with recognition of hand.
2. Camera Takes pictures automaticly.
3. Music Player stops suddenly.
4. It has more lags than v20a (polish)
To sum up. I really prefer v20a than this v20d. Now there is another version for spain v20c so I will test it. Good luck.

Many people upgrade to KitKat and find it so annoying to look for a flashable zip file, or trying to downgrade the bootloader, flashing patched kernel,... in order to have a working system, custom recovery with KitKat. So we make this little app to do all the job for you automatically.
Process
Using this app means you'll downgrade your bootloader and flash a custom recovery (in this case, we used TWRP 2.7), fix download mode, also install patched kernel so you can boot back to your current system (stock LG KitKat ROM)

Has anyone modded this to flash outside the software update? Since my phone is rooted and lokified it will not take the update, and a boot loop or something is waiting.
Has anyone have a download and "modded" version for us lesser children???

BE ADVISED: More than likely if you are rooted and you go back to stock and flash this ROM, you will NOT be able to root right away, and Free Gee probably will not work, so if this is important to you. Do NOT flash this ROM OTA. wait till the dev's come up with a rooted version.

Quick Circle Case App Not Working in Xposed ROM
Hello,
I tried to install the Xposed version of this ROM twice and everything seems to work perfectly, but the quick circle app is not working (after I download and enable it from the play store). Your initial lollipop ROM has no issues with the quick circle case app and works right off the bat. I'm new to this, so I'm probably doing something simple that is wrong, but I can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
The one bad thing is that quick circle does not work alongside xposed as of right now.
Stock ROM for Rogers / Bell wanted
Hi All,
Does anyone have Lollipop Stock Rom for D852 devices? I bought one unlocked D855 from ATT....rooted it and changed build version to D852 and flashed it with KitKat from Rogers stock rom (non-rooted). it works very well like a native D852 device...I use Rogers SIM. The reason I did this because AT&T Rom only came with imperial system and it didn't even offer option of changing from F to C for example.
Now Rogers/Bell releases Lollipop OTA updates, my device didn't receive update from either carrier. Can someone post a download link for D852 Lollipop stock rom from Rogers/Bell? I can't use rooted rom in this post b/c GOOD for Enterprise didn't like rooted rom.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers!

Thank you for your quick reply, but unfortunately, when I used the Texdroider DPI app you suggested earlier to change the dpi to 640 it did not resolve the issue as I still can't get the circle app to work, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the quick circle app and rebooted, but to no avail.
I thought for sure this would fix my issue as it made sense to me, but no luck. Thanks for the amazing ROM anyway.
On a side note: is there a way for you to debloat your original Lollipop ROM so it is just like the one running Xposed?
Thank you,

Good point, The reason why my Xposed version is the way it is, that was the way I used it. dont have a flip cover case so took that out. I used third party apps for clock. messenger etc. I can have a bloated Xposed for sure when I get the chance. With that said. I believe one of your issues was the app didnt play nice with Xposed framework. keeps forceclosing.

Thanks my friend. it works very well....look forward to next Lollipop update on D852.
Here are the steps to upgrade stock KitKat to stock Lollipop on Bell/Rogers D852 devices. It doesn't wipe the data and will do in-place upgrade (like OTA update).
1) download Bell's D85220C.KDZ ROM from here. using the link from the previous post.
2) follow instructions in this page, download LG Flash Tool 2014, then refer to the screen shots to flash your D852 to stock Lollipop ROM.
after the update, all works well, except the screen seems a little bit lagging...

Hi everyone,
I successfully installed this rom over a pre-rooted D5503_14.5.A.0.242_Customized SA
firmware. Thanks Master Munjeni, rom is working great; my Xperia is no longer battery hungry.
Initially, have tried to compare it with the pre-rooted rom above, your rom reboots faster than pre-rooted rom mentioned above. There is also no optimization of applications on each reboot. But I encountered a problem installing xposed3-alpha, i get an error "not enough space..." it seems that internal SD card is not accessible. Anyone encountered this?

Initially, have tried to compare it with the pre-rooted rom above, your rom reboots faster than pre-rooted rom mentioned above. There is also no optimization of applications on each reboot. But I encountered a problem installing xposed3-alpha, i get an error "not enough space..." it seems that internal SD card is not accessible. Anyone encountered this?

Thanks Master Munjeni, I will download now. I reverted back to your .157 rom
already. I will re-install and test your lp rom again. More power to you!
Could the installation process could be simplified? Dear Munjeni? Just download and flash types?

@munjeni
Hi, I'm new here in XDA, my English is bad, excuse and excuse.
I can not post hier:

I am user.
I only pretend to provide things (ideas)
I'm not sure, but consider this:
please, you have to check the status of the version of OpenG
OpenGL ES version 0.0, is a problem
OpenGL ES version 3.0 is correct
You can check the version of OpenGL ES, with CPU-Z from Play Store
In lollipop, I think, that this change of OpenGL ES version from 3.0 to 0.0 can (is) generated by? ¿modification (mods) .apk and .jar, caused by the signing ? (file signature)
suggestion: change the signature tool
deodexed rom with Xposed and modul Serajr Xperia Xposed LP, with Sistem super user mode activated, It seems to work, your investigated because,
¿to see if it has to do with services.jar? ("superusermod")
services.jar mod is not the same in lollipop and kk???
Selinux state? false or true? You know what it is? I do not know, bat it is security.
sorry if I say any estupided
thank you very much for your work
regards

Hello Quesie,
I do not know how you ended in this thread because here everything is for the Sony Xperia Z1 compact mobile phone. If you flash one ot the roms in this thread to your phone (if it can be flashed in the first place), it will for sure not run, but maybe brick your phone.
For your phone this thread should be the right one, but as I guess you're a beginner with the whole rom business, proceed with caution! Read carefully, and a lot.
Z1 Compact
Thanks for this rom
