[Q] Briced one - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello to everyone!
Afer changing flat cable on Desire HD, device wont boot, just get stuck at HTC screen. When I enter bootloader and select recovery device also get stuck at white screen with HTC logo. When select fastboot it comunicates with PC, so I tried to flash recovery (many times, many recovery versions) and it all goes well without any error and it says it is written OK to device, but device won't boot into recovery.
I made goldcard via another HTC phone (becouse I can't use adb bricked device), and tried to flash RUU WWE 3.12.405.1 with PD98IMG.zip on SD card method. And nothing is solved still... Also tried to flash recovery that way...
Don't know what more can I try to unbrick device???

[Q] HELP! I've Killed my phone, dead!

I have seached similar posts but everything suggested thats works for everyone else isn't working for me.
So, I went and rooted my phone, but it wouldn't let me flash any ROM, so I went and done the good old S-Off, and it let me flash a ROM thanks to the good old updated clockworkmod. However, there was a fault, i couldn't hear anyone when I called out.
So, I then desided to try another ROM, to see if it would fix it. But it wouldn't install any, it wouldn't even reinstall the current one. Then I pressed format \boot (and the rest of the format options on the clockwork mod) (not sure why), and it wouldn't allow me to boot into anything but ClockworkMod which wouldn't let me flash.
So, having a generic HTC Desire, I thought to use an RUU to restore it (no goldcard), so I plugged it in, and ran the RUU and it DID recognise the phone, then part way through a hazard sign showed up on the right hand side of the loading bar on the phone, and at the end the application RUU on my pc showed an error [110] FIle Open Error and now my phone doesn't move past and HTC logo with a hazard sign in each corner.
Cant boot into recovery or fastboot or anything....
HELP!!

If you still can get to fastboot, then there my be a possibility to recover it. RRU will run from the fastboot screen. Insert your goldcard (if you have one) to be sure that it will work.
If you're still S-OFF (you should be if you had an alpharev HBoot), you can flash a recovery through fastboot. You can use fastboot commander to do so (requires java sdk). Boot into fastboot (back button + power), plug phone in via usb, run fastboot commander and flash recovery. Then flash a ROM.

Today it crashed and i got a blackscreen. Then i restarded it, but it couldn't boot anymore, it boots till the HTC logo and then it restarts.
I can go to the bootloader, but when i choose recovery, only the HTC logo shows up and then the phone reboots again.

More information needed, S-off or on, hboot version, have you tried with fastboot commands, did you use AndroidFlasher from fastboot or bootloader...
S-oof,
HBOOT-6.93.1002
what fastboot commands?
I used AndroidFlasher from fastboot!
fastboot commands to flash recovery. would look like this
fastboot flash recovery C:\ recovery.img
where recovery.img is just put the name of the recovery u downloaded and assuming u put it in ur C drive
Sent from my HTC Desire
doesn't work, the image is in c:\ and is named "recovery.img" but ther comes the error: "cannot determine image filename for 'C:\recovery.img'"
i just posted 4ext recovery as PB99IMG in desire general, take a look n try it
Sent from my HTC Desire
You downloaded the right img, did you? From the 4ext Recovery Thread i found this link: http://www.4ext.net/ddl/bravo/recovery.zip
It should just be download, extract, run command in fastboot mode. Make sure you entered the right path.

Fastboot Problem!!

Hello, I have a very urgent question.
I'm on revolutionary 9.3 and HBOOT 0.95.
My last original rom was 1.29.401.12
I have to reinstall the RUU.
I have no Nandroid of the original rom.
I tried with 1.29.401.7 ruu but it did not work.
I used boot and recovery from that.
After that I restored CMW and boot image 9 (after unlocking the phone), but now i cannot enter in fastboot.
It stucks on android screen (after the htc white one).
I tried to reboot hox with power +volume down but it does not enter in fastboot............
Soved this way.
I connect the phone to pc.
Restarted phone
Launched RUU
After 1st scren it recognized the phone.
Opened command screen
went into C:\android
Adb devices
It listed my phone
Finally adb reboot bootloader
And then i reinstalled revolutionary DDD

[Q] HTC DHD stuck on htc sreen logo

Hello guys
I hope you're all okay
My htc desire hd is stuck on htc logo screen and i read lots of your posts about this topic but I couldn't manage to find a solution.
I tried flashing rooting and other stuff bot none worked.
Please tell me what to do
PS: I cant acces to settings to tick the Usb Debugging and I dont have Clockworkmod installed
Regards
If you can access the phone via adb or hboot (press Vol-Down + Power) then try to flash Clockword Mod and work your way from there (wipe everything, flash new ROM and so on). These instruction are for the EVO but hboot should be almost identical on every phone I guess: How to manually flash a recovery image (via fastboot OR from SD card)
I tried it believe me I tried via SD card and via Commang prompt too but both of them FAILED

[Q] HTC One X stuck in bootloop

Here is the situation (My brother HTC One X):
The phone is stuck in bootloop, it only boots to either the white htc screen, or into fastboot.
I've tryed flashing a custom recovery, but it won't boot into recovery, and when I try to boot there, I only get a htc screen and no response (not even charging there).
I've tryed flashing new boot.img, it didn't help either.
I think the he tryed to flash the htc one x using CM11 rom, then he panicked and erased everything.
I've tryed to flash a custom rom from fastboot, but it not connected to the PC => adb devices --- give -- no device.
I found the same problem fix for HTC one X+ but it didn't work on HTC one X
I'm a stuck here, can anyone please help?

in fastboot you can't use adb. Flash philz recovery 5.15.9 then run the command fastboot erase cache and then try go in recovery
