do a factory reset.
Or try to turn of Google Now, I've read in other forums that might cause high battery consumption as well.

Im having this same problem /w CustoNexus1.1. tried almost everything.
if google now turned off wont help then just try other rom.
i want one of those nexus phones.. sgs, sgs2, one x.. all having some issues /w cm/pa roms.. would be better to buy tablet for tweaking and keep stedy phone on the way with me. annoying to find myself in a train/tram with no battery just cause rom sucks
Good luck finding solution!
Cheers from Finland
Hi, I read somewhere in the forum that battery performance has something to do with letting the battery have enough time to cache and re-calibrate in between installs (of roms). I would like to know more about this. How do I find out about this? My CM 10.1 battery isn't as good as stock Samsung.

Batteries are dumb & there's no such thing as " calibrating " one.
Never, Ever run the battery down to nothing intentionally, thinking that this is a good idea

i just flashed my samsung galaxy wonder to have CM-10.1 alpha6 a few days ago. and i realised that it drain battery very fast.. just simply fully charge it to 100% and left there with wifi, bluetooth and all applications off, yet the battery drained in half day..
if open 3G, the battery drain 30% in 20 minutes.
can sumeone tell me what's the problem and how can i solve it? thx a lots
Why don't you try to flash another kernel..
I personally recommend kernel by hurtsky, or by castagnaIT.
that's only my opinion..
you're welcome to try..

first, how old is your battery?
older than 1 yr, u should try getting a new battery.
mine was 1.4 yr old, battery drain when play game lasted 5 mins from fully charge to zero.

Well..
It's just the same way like how you flashed the cm10.1 rom..
Try to head to this page:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2218087
There's also an instruction on a proper way to flash it..
And don't forget to thanks him if you like his kernel
CM10.1 aka Android 4.2.2 uses higher voltage compared to CM10 and CM9(especially CM9).
So its understandable. But in CM10.1, SGW can use 1.0Ghz and still fluently do a lot of things.
Try underclocking and undervolting.

try to consider the age of your battery, your lcd revision , and usage.

I have CM 10.2 everythings is ok..battery consumption is depends from life time of your battery then the number of apps and services activated...
Change to new battery
hmmm.... maybe it's because of your battery.. from my experience , you should buy new battery if the battery is used more than 1 year... i had experinced before when my battery drain faster, after i bought new battery.. the problem solved...
Guys. Stop telling him it´s the battery. If it were the battery the draining would be already that fast before flashing CM10.1, but not just after.
A bloated and aged battery can of course be the reason, but this doesn´t have to be always the case. My stock Samsung battery is already 2 years old but working like new. However I have to admit that I don´t use it that often. Having here 3 batteries I´m changing them regulary every few months.
This draining will be more related to the LCD version in his phone, which he should read about and check before flashing a CM10.1 based rom. Additionally the recent Google updates can cause even more battery drain than the LCD Rev.3 issue alone, which has to be taken also into account.
When is my phone in charging and i reboot phone if i have 20% of battery after reboot i have 50% or something like that how to solve this? sry for my english

You will stay with the same ROM, just a different kernel. So more governors, tweaks etc. You won't notice a difference visually.

Hmm. Might be that your battery is dead?
Try a pristine install of CM11 again, see if that helps.

May be CM11 Dark ?!
I'm running CM11 Dark (Beta 2) + KhaN Kernel v.1.5 and the battery life is pretty good I'm using Polarcell Akku 1600MAh ordered from ebay for about 10€. BUT if nothing helps and you absolutely want to keep your installation, may be just disconnect the charger for rebooting
i know what are you talknig about, and that's NORMAL: every android phone does like that, if you reboot your device while it's in charge, the calibration charge is messed up, so do NEVER reboot your device so often...if you forced to do that, so wait until it's 100%, wait something like 1/2 hour / 1 hour at least and then disconnect your phone from the charger. Then use it until it shut off for low battery (and even in this case, just ONCE you have to make it shut off or you will cause damage to battery.
That's it, i hope it helped
Hey guys, just wanted to ask you if any of you had had a smilar problem. Mainly, my battery percentage goes for example to 95%, and then after a few minutes it goes back to 97%-.. is this normal, or is it time for me to change the battery ?

hasn't happened to me yet. You'd better let the battery discharge completely once and charge it fully. Then see if it works or not
Apart from enoromous readings battery works fine.

stock or cm or aosp rom?
Stock 4.1.2
i didn't have that on stock only on cm and aosp
Heeeeey I started to notice this on my stock rom 4.1.2 yesterday after reading your thread :| But you can be sure that it's not a problem since I've bought my g last week so it can't be because of your battery age. It's natural. I think it's impossible to show the correct and exact battery percentage in any OS. To test, you can let your battery discharge to the end and you'll see that the end is sometimes 3 percent (the device goes off when it has 3 percent or more left) and sometimes you get 0 percent but the device is on Maybe that's why percentage is off by default.
I contacted LG and they said it's normal. Is it normal?

Yes it is, it happens on my device from time to time and I believe it's guesstimation technology :highfive:
What can drain battery faster on this phone?
Browsing the internet through Wifi or 3G?
Thanks.
