[Q] Can anyone help with the bugs? - Nokia X

I succeeded to port several Kik-Kat roms for Nokia X.
1- Aokp
2- Aosb
3- Nameless
4- Paranoid
5- Liquid Smooth
6- Slim-Rom
7- Carbon
And FirefoxOs (4.1.2)
They are really smooth but have the same bugs
I- RIL
II- WiFi
III- Bluetooth
IV- Storage
V- Some sensors
I'll start studying about Android from next year, till then I'm helpless!
Can somebody help me solve these bugs?

For WiFi Bluethooth:-
system/lib/modules/mtk_wmt_wifi.ko -> After patching, both works & can be individually switch on/ off*
system/lib/libbluetooth_mtk.so
system/lib/libbluetoothem_mtk.so -> MTK Engineering will show MT6628 if not patch...
system/etc/firmware -> if yours is MT6628, you'll need to patch all WIFI_RAM_CODE_* too

also if you really want the stock. look back at the app and theme section. they got a thread talking about "polaris". thats the stock app.
Thanks...big help bro..
Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA
If you want the stock Polaris app, you need the PolarisOffice.apk in /system/app and libpolarisoffice.so in /system/lib from a stock ROM. I've uploaded the files here. Once you've downloaded them, use ROOT explorer or ES File Explorer (or any root file explorer) and put the PolarisOffice.apk in /system/app and libpolarisoffice.so in /system/lib (you don't need to "install" the .apk) and then reboot.

Just copy the bootanimation.zip file to system/media and set the same permissions as other files and reboot. Search for the boot animation zip files in the forum and change rename it to bootanimation.zip and do as I said.

Are you making your own or using some downloaded animations? Have you checked the compression level - it must be store, or it won't work 100%.

how to add app. while porting a rom

does any one know how to add apps to a rom while porting and after that does i have to edit some think in build.prop please help me i want to port a rom for lg p690 and want some apps in it so please help me
guys if u found my question useful then thank me
It depends on some apps. Some are tied to system folders and some aren't.
Which ones are you trying to add?
And no need for build.prop edits

It depends if your roms format is correctly. Deleting something that is required by the system bootloops the rom.
What are you pasting them with?

(MOD)Lock Screen center clock-Android 4.3

Process:-
Open /system/app with root explorer
Copy existing file keyguardwidget.apk to some where else
Replace/copy the attached one
Change permission (Please google if you do not know how to change permission)
Reboot
If clock does not show properly. Remove and add it again.
This one is made by me but used some other existing file. Credit goes to them as well. It is perfectly working for ML4 but should be working with all 4.3 firmware
Added the font file if you want to use it. I foget from whom I collected this file. No credit to me.
Process:-
Remove the .txt from last of the file and save it
Take back up of old file under /system/Fonts folder
Replace & change permission

[SHARE] MP4 Bootanimation for non stock rom

Restore the ability to play mp4 bootanimation from stock motorola ROM
Remove the .txt from file in attachments and put the file in system/bin and replace the original one
Don't forget to make a backup in case anything goes wrong
After that you'll be able to use the mp4 bootanimation.zip from stock rom
I've tried this in many roms from different devices and everything works fine

Where can i find some boot animations ? video
i want a Ring with an M inside Growing
yeay, it work on PA 4.44 . thanks man
I finally got this to work....
I have the Boostmobile CDMA XT1031 variant and I am running Stock 4.4.4.+Xposed.
I had to manually set the permissions of that bootanimation file of yours to: rwxr-xr-x.
All that work to get the Android L boot animation to work on stock!
Didn't worked for me at first try then I did this:
1) Change the permissions of the bootanimation file that you pasted in system/bin (change it to -rwxr-xr-x)
2) Change the permissions of bootanimation.zip that you pasted in system/media and change the permission as you changed it for above file.
3) Reboot and enjoy!
Very nice!! :good:
I will make a flasheable zip to it easy!
Please port it to CM12
I'm using your script since i bought my phone, Its awesome
But in latest CM12 its not working anymore
I port a working version to LOLLIPOP roms like CM12

It worked on my Boost Mobile moto g (xt1031). At first I had problems but then I realized that I forgot to change permissions ?. Here is the install method: (I don't know much about the features when you post so I guess you'll have to share this reply somehow for those that have problems and could have some help)
1. Backup "bootanimation" located in system/bin (I just make a folder in my Downloads calling it backup______ and place it in there)
2. Rename attachment from "bootanimation.txt" to "bootanimation" Copy and paste the "bootanimation" into system/bin (yes you replace it (or overwrite whatever ot says).
3. Change file's permissions to rwxr-xr-x
4. There is no "4" you're done. However, if you have a theme loaded in your rom I think you're going to have to update the boot animation back to stock in your theme settings.
Restoring:
1. Rename backup to "bootanimation" and paste to system/bin.
2. Change permissions to rwxr-xr-x
If you need help i'll try to help based on what I know
