I have tried literally everything, and I keep getting this message 'Unfortunately, the process com.sonyericsson.extras.liveware.extension.processName has stopped' I read something about the email smart app is the cause but even after disabling it, it still doesn't fix the problem
any advice?
thanks
I get that error message on the new JB firmware, and I don't even use my SmartWatch. Not sure what the solution is. I can't find the app in Titanium Backup to freeze it - not that that would be of any help to a SmartWatch user. It would be nice to find a non-destructive way to get rid of the error message.
100% fully stock AT&T G3. Every time I reboot as soon as it loads the OS I get the following error message "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped.". Is there any way to fix this so that I do not receive this error message?

i am glad i am not alone. currently looking for answers as well as updating it to v10G did not help. the error is still there.
Are you running swiftkey? I had the same problem and discovered swiftkey was causing it and had to downgrade to an older version.
No swift key. Thanks for the suggestion

no swiftkey either here
I had the same error on boot and I didn't have Swiftkey installed. It actually turned it to be the Google keyboard. I switched back to the LG keyboard and then updated the Google one in the Play store. After switching back to the Google one, I no longer get the error message on boot.
Anyone can confirm this "hdcp" advice?
Just cleared the google play store services data and the error went away. This happened to me after I used unlock code.

Did you try to clear the play store services?
Happens to me also, no Google Keyboard and only started after I initially rooted.. But even after a stock restore, it still persists.

To get rid of the error on my phone, I cleared the data on the google play services. Then restarted the phone and presto, no error.

last time I had it I had to root and delete google play services frm data with root explorer then reboot and follow mine steps then install the latest google play services in between the errormessages
Deleted Google Keyboard. Problem disappeared. This was causing my phone to restore deleted photos and mess up photos that were already on the SD card. Huge headache.

My grandma's phone was having this error message, I tried clearing Google Play Store and Service, Calendar, & Calendar Storage's data and cache. Didn't work. I tried this and the error message went away. THANK YOU!
I had the same message of "unfortunately the process .com.google.process.gapps has stopped"
I did as the others suggested and I un-installed google keyboard and rebooted the phone and the message was gone!
Just a guess, but Sounds like it must be some kind of bug/error in the way the LG software for the keyboard handles a change in keyboard settings when it is changed or swapped out since some people have had the same issue with swiftkey?
I had this same error. Phone is rooted and it turned out to be the Google Keyboard. Uninstalled it and problem went away.
+1 on rooted and Google Keyboard causing the error.
Anyone know of a fix or workaround? LG's keyboard causes my phone to lag.
Go-to Google keyboard advanced settings and uncheck the display icon setting then reebot.

Greetings and salutations my fellow geeks!
Ever since early December last year, when I updated my G3 to Lollipop, I've had the following error code pop up randomly while using my phone:
"Unfortunately Settings has Stopped"
I tried the following to solve this issue, without success:
- Hard reset.... NOPE!
- Reflashing various version of Lollipop... NOPE!
- Deleting all the apps I could, without actually rooting the phone... NOPE!
So, I booted into Safe Mode, and the error message didn't appear. But, when I restarted the phone, the error message came back.... "Unfortunately Settings Has Stopped"....
And NOW, the solution! Three days ago I disabled... DRUMROLL PLEASE!
GOOGLE CHROME!!!
No error message since! All apps reinstalled, and not one time has the message reappeared!
I've since been using the standard browser, and I haven't had one error message!
Spread the word, IT'S A MIRACLE!
i also uninstalled chrome but got process.google, com has stopped

How to fix the message "Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped"?
Hi guys!!
I'm from Brazil and get a Zenfone 2 in 2015. Since then, when a simcard network goes off I get the message "Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped", and when I close the dialog box, the background app "refreshes".
If I was watching a video on YouTube, Netflix..the video restarts, same thing with the camera app, games and other apps.
It get worse after the official firmware update to Android 6.0.1.
Did all the chashes clan, update and even factory reset, but no sucess.
Please, helpe me!
I don't know if I install the CM 13 the error will stop, and I like ZenUI, don't wanna change...actually I even know if the problem isn't in it's hardware..
Thanks guys!!
My G4 H810 is acting up with a bunch of weird software issues.
1. Every time I try to go to Settings>General>Security on my LG G4 H810 (Stock) the security app closes, and the message "Unfortunately, the process com.android.settings has stopped." appears.
2. Whenever I try to change my lock screen settings, either nothing actually happens or the message "Unfortunately, Lock Screen Settings has stopped." appears.
3. When I try to uninstall an app, my phone just reboots.
I've tried factory resetting multiple times - it doesn't work. I'm wondering if I could install a stock kdz or tot. Unfortunately, I'm on h81022d, so I'm having trouble finding a compatible kdz/tot.
i got the same problem exactly like yours im running MM H81021y plus i got anti rollback 3 so no downgrade for me if you find a solution please share it here
hey ,
i'm having same problem did you guys fix the issue ./?
