That I'm not sure on there's been a few changes to somethings so I'm going to run a build for the d2spr tonight and test it out,,, in the meantime if you use open camera from the playstore your able to take pictures but don't try recording a video or your phone will most likely reboot
My favourite ROM
Att love from liquid too... And I'm using the Verizon build... I should have discovered this earlier.... Is there any major difference between this one and the verizon build??? I have a t999 currently running off the Verizon build but I saw this att build which I'm thinking of flashing if there is some major difference

I'm actually surprised the verizon build flashed onto an att phone lol but the only difference really is the name all 3 variants (d2spr, d2vzw and d2att) are all built from the same source just using the different device trees for each. The only issue you may have would be not getting signal or data from one to the other because the ril stuff varies a bit from one to the next.

Signal and data working fine.. But its battery that worries me.. I feel like its draining faster on this Verizon build... Oh well only way to find out is to flash this att build to see if it make a difference... Thanks again man[emoji106] [emoji106] [emoji106]
Just flashed this upon waking up this morning. Totally loving it so far. Only drawbacks I've found so far are a few places in settings where it's a black text on that dark background. Other than that (and OP stated issues) no problems so far. Do you know if there are some theme changes coming as the builds get underway? I know it's new as all get out so I'm just curious if you know whether or not the LS team has things in the works that just haven't been committed yet.

Yeah the team is aware of the visual bugs the material black theme is actually not even merged yet I just picked it for this build to test it out, there will be a bunch of new features added in on the upcoming builds but most things right now are still in early testing stages

Gotcha. I figured they were pretty on top of things. I'm still waiting for an updated device tree for unofficial i777 builds so this is the first I've seen of LS v4.0 ... Thanks for the quick reply. Appreciate the work and can't wait to follow along as this progresses! :good:
I'm new to flashing ROMs and am wondering if updates can be done OTA or if the phone must be redone everytime a new version is flashed? Thanks and this looks great!
I was wondering if others were getting No SIM when installing this rom. It doesn't detect my SIM card. I have an unlocked phone using MetroPCS.
Any troubleshooting assistance would be appreciated. I haven't found a clear reason why it is not able to read the card.

If Gray has time tonight. I'll get him to flash a new build hopefully that has the RIL fixed. Then I will release the link publicly.
Once RIL is fixed. I'll submit the device tree to CM and hopefully get this official like the other HTC One devices.

I am so excited I managed to get my bootloader unlocked and that this has come out so quickly. I can't wait until its uploaded!
I ran a build and it boots and I get a roaming indicator but it gets stuck activating the sim card. I have yet to mess anything outside of the device setup though. You can see my changes to the m7spr setup here https://github.com/OMJ-/android_device_htc_m7vzw/commit/959e3e21cfb3bada10f12073803f286b78fd1da8
Edit: Messing around with some network settings I got a data connection. It seems to be 2g but its something.

Thankfully 99% of the work was already done for the other one variants. That's the one advantage of a late release I suppose.

Installs fine on twrp 2.6.3 (no errors), but it hangs at Samsung Note 3 screen for a while. Then eventually boots. It gets stuck at boot animation. I tried it once with Gapps and once without. CWM seems necessary.

Well my tester got back to me and it doesn't boot so i have uploaded a older build that does boot, but has a little bit more bugs. for now that will do until i can fix the audio-caf errors i am getting.
If anyone would be willing to help that would be wonderful, we track are own audio-caf for a strict-aliasing fix, and merge in cm's changes the errors i am getting are these:
hltetmo: http://pastebin.com/AwDkTvYT
hltespr http://pastebin.com/iFR9mygR
repo is located here: https://github.com/LiquidSmooth/android_hardware_qcom_audio-caf

And have the same question as @jpeps , where do i get CWM ? is there a thread for it yet ? if so, havent seen it...
I see the thread here and also in the 9005 forum.. For Canadians which would be better to flash?

Tested today, flashed through CWM x2. First time with GAPPS and second w/o. The first time I was constantly getting dropped signals, sending SMS worked fine and WiFi also dropped continuously. The second time I was experiencing the same but it was happening less often.
Twrp works guys just make sure you have the newest one
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
I second the TWRP post above. I have 2.6.3.8 and it installed fine for me. First boot took alittle while at the Samsung screen but after the first boot, boot times were rather fast. SMS, data, audio (albeit low volume), work fine. No calling (which we all know doesn't work), random reboots when changing settings from time to time. All options work great (i.e. Halo, Dark settings, Navbar, Themes, etc.). I installed PA Google apps and all seems to work fine. Will keep checking other things and post more as I run across them. Great work and thanks again for all the hard work and dedication. I'm sure I am speaking for many when I say it's nice to see this much progress for our N3..:good:

You can try both, but the one in the comments can boot successfully, the beta is a hit or miss. Don't take my word for it though, I'm not flashing until it's a tad more stable .

I flashed the beta in the OP. As far as I know they are one in the same. It takes you to a directory where there are three versions (Sprint, T-Mobile and the 9005 I think). Should be 3.0 beta from the 28th last I checked..

I have to just say Wow! Super impressed with how well this rom works. I cannot believe how fast it is. Obviously it's not ready to be a daily driver & I didn't notice any bugs that haven't been reported. Keep up the good work guys & thank you very much for sharing this.
I flashed this on my Canadian SM-N900W8 Galaxy Note 3 and it looks to be working well!
Bugs :
- No camera
- No Calling
- 5 Signal bars are always empty
- Battery Charging Animation weird or make Sys.UI crash
- First Boot incredibly long (Might not be an issue though, but it is longer than Stock with Touchwiz)
- Status Bar in launcher is not well sized and is not transparent. (Same for bottom)
Otherwise it is INCREDIBLY FAST! Touchwiz to hell!
I am going to flash Touchwiz again because I need calling, but as soon as it gets fixed, I will be right back!

Oh boy ... Keep giving me candy ...
glad it's finally back on a newer android version for hercules.
when it says that there are no device specific bugs, does that mean the 1080p playback/recording bug is fixed?
EDIT: link doesnt seen to work.

i can confirm that 1080p playback/recording doesn't work on it so you'll have to set it to 720p before you use it. i hear it's just a 4.4 bug.

tried installing it, but it kept asking for the the v4a driver. i got up to modifying build.prop and rebooting it, but it still wants to install the v4a driver anyway, it's such a hassle. i'll just wait for a fix or deal with low volume for now.

It's supposed to ask you to install the driver, you select one of the options and then reboot. That should be it. Was that the way of it or do you get the prompt for a driver even after installation of it?
Actually the whole thing is easier if you flash this zip: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2625056&d=1394549299
After booting, open the app, select the audio driver you want, then reboot again. BTW if you do this get rid of any older versions of Viper you just tried to install.

Beta build or not.... You could totally use this as a daily driver. Everything that I have encountered has worked except Netflix. I personally think It's on Netflix's end.

You guys could try the Netflix fix module from Xposed Framework. It just may take care of the issue.
EDIT:::::
SORRY GUYS BUT I MAY BE MISTAKEN. IF THE NEW VERSION OF LS IS ART ONLY THEN XPOSED FRAMEWORK WILL NOT WORK.
I'M GETTING READY TO DOWNLOAD IT AND TAKE A LOOK.
Looks like the drdev site is working now.

@Flashalot, So the ROM runs great! Been running it for about 7 hrs & everything works except the known d2 bugs, I did find that settings will FC when I tap on buttons in candy interface, I logged it out & I'll send it to you if you wish. So far that's the only thing I've found, do you guys have an email so I can send the logs? I'm limited to my phone atm, but I'll gladly email the logs to y'all! Nice work on the ROM, Thanks!

Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question, wasn't sure since you said that you fix some CM bugs. I was wondering if the stock camera works on this rom and if Instagram/Snapchat cameras work.

Being that the camera is the most well known bug, it would likely be stated specifically if it was fixed. But as soon as it is, these guys will get it done. The Candy crew are a group of enthusiasts. Believe that.

edit: yup it boots up. i'll play around with it a bit later and let you know if everything works as it should.
edit 2: keyboard swipe doesn't work, same old camera issues. Other than that works fine.
It works great on tmo, i edit the Assert and changed it to d2tmo and it flashed perfect, love the rom its working great
how do you enable the navigation bar? I know how to get to it, but I see no option to enable it, just to edit it.
Also, the buttons menu under candy interface forecloses when try to open it.
