Installs fine on twrp 2.6.3 (no errors), but it hangs at Samsung Note 3 screen for a while. Then eventually boots. It gets stuck at boot animation. I tried it once with Gapps and once without. CWM seems necessary.

Well my tester got back to me and it doesn't boot so i have uploaded a older build that does boot, but has a little bit more bugs. for now that will do until i can fix the audio-caf errors i am getting.
If anyone would be willing to help that would be wonderful, we track are own audio-caf for a strict-aliasing fix, and merge in cm's changes the errors i am getting are these:
hltetmo: http://pastebin.com/AwDkTvYT
hltespr http://pastebin.com/iFR9mygR
repo is located here: https://github.com/LiquidSmooth/android_hardware_qcom_audio-caf
Looks like cm team committed some updates wonder what they fixed

Oh boy !
i am so happy to see this ROM !!
I will flash as soon as i have a chance !!
And have the same question as @jpeps , where do i get CWM ? is there a thread for it yet ? if so, havent seen it...
I see the thread here and also in the 9005 forum.. For Canadians which would be better to flash?
Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
Tested today, flashed through CWM x2. First time with GAPPS and second w/o. The first time I was constantly getting dropped signals, sending SMS worked fine and WiFi also dropped continuously. The second time I was experiencing the same but it was happening less often.
Twrp works guys just make sure you have the newest one
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
I second the TWRP post above. I have 2.6.3.8 and it installed fine for me. First boot took alittle while at the Samsung screen but after the first boot, boot times were rather fast. SMS, data, audio (albeit low volume), work fine. No calling (which we all know doesn't work), random reboots when changing settings from time to time. All options work great (i.e. Halo, Dark settings, Navbar, Themes, etc.). I installed PA Google apps and all seems to work fine. Will keep checking other things and post more as I run across them. Great work and thanks again for all the hard work and dedication. I'm sure I am speaking for many when I say it's nice to see this much progress for our N3..:good:
I'm confused...Do I flash the beta in the op or the one in the link a few posts down?

You can try both, but the one in the comments can boot successfully, the beta is a hit or miss. Don't take my word for it though, I'm not flashing until it's a tad more stable .

I flashed the beta in the OP. As far as I know they are one in the same. It takes you to a directory where there are three versions (Sprint, T-Mobile and the 9005 I think). Should be 3.0 beta from the 28th last I checked..

I have to just say Wow! Super impressed with how well this rom works. I cannot believe how fast it is. Obviously it's not ready to be a daily driver & I didn't notice any bugs that haven't been reported. Keep up the good work guys & thank you very much for sharing this.
I flashed this on my Canadian SM-N900W8 Galaxy Note 3 and it looks to be working well!
Bugs :
- No camera
- No Calling
- 5 Signal bars are always empty
- Battery Charging Animation weird or make Sys.UI crash
- First Boot incredibly long (Might not be an issue though, but it is longer than Stock with Touchwiz)
- Status Bar in launcher is not well sized and is not transparent. (Same for bottom)
Otherwise it is INCREDIBLY FAST! Touchwiz to hell!
I am going to flash Touchwiz again because I need calling, but as soon as it gets fixed, I will be right back!

About to flash, making a nandroid first and then I'll report back.
edit: After I wipe and flash the Nexus 5 just keeps booting into recovery :/ Going to assume it may be a TWR issue.
edit2: Fixed my issue by installing faux kernel on top. It seems the boot.img included in the ROM may be broken.

thanks for your input guys! I'll take another look at the kernel. About the data issues...is only data borked and you are able to make calls/send texts or signal in general?

Can't make calls/txt, no signal at all basically.
Sounds like the issue that was on the N4 when we all lost baseband when TWRP was on v 2.6.0.0. Is there another recovery you can use?

Q&A
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why don't I have root access after installing OmniROM?
A: OmniROM does not have an official, prebuilt root method yet, so you'll just need to flash SuperSU in recovery and you'll have 100% working root access. SuperSU can be found here: SuperSU
Q: Where is <insert feature here>, like CM/AOKP/PA/etc have??
A: Omni is still very early in development, but moving at an incredibly fast rate. New feature, bug fixes, and device support are added just about daily. Check it out here: OmniROM Gerrit Review for the latest and greatest
Q: How do I start/stop screen recording?
A: Volume UP + Power will start screen recording. Simply drag the notification bar down and click the button to stop.
Q: HALP NFC doesn't work!!
A: We know.
awesome...thanks
First post references sprint gs4, might wanna fix that to avoid confusion. Thanks for posting this.
edit: flashed ok, no probs so far, except that you'll need to convert adaway to a system apk if you use that. That's a 4.4 issue, not specific to this rom.
Also, some things to look forward to in the near future:
Omni File Explorer - OmniROMs native root file manager
native root support (you will no longer need to flash SuperSU in recovery)
OpenDelta - Omni's OTA Updater
NFC fix *properly*
Multi-Window
a big surprise in the next few hours
Anyone get ART working? It just reboots back into dalvik for me.
I've been looking forward to this ROM being available. But I see no mention of the feature that most interests me: split window (multi window).
Is it built in?/ working?
Thanks.

i didn't include multi-window in my builds to this point because I don't want to provide anything less than as close to perfection as we can get. multi-window is not ready for full implementation yet, but it will be merged as soon as it is. xplodwild and others are putting a LOT of time into it, so it'll be flawless when it gets merged.
but as of now, official nightlies are started. I will no longer be posting my manual builds here, but i will still be actively maintaining this thread.

The biggest change with this build is that it is compatible with every single variant of the Galaxy S3 (AT&T, TMo, Sprint, Verizon, etc.
The way it does this is by executing a script during flash that identifies your bootloader and loki-patches the boot.img (kernel) if you are on one of the locked bootloader variants (AT&T or Verizon) and, for all others, leaves the kernel alone. It also adds any overlays for your device variant (APN's, etc.). Pretty freaking cool.
So SGS3 users (except for i9300/i9305, sorry): come one, come all, and flash this Liquidy goodness without worrying about a status 7 error or the dreaded yellow unauthorized triangle.
FAQ:
Q - Can I flash this on my (d2att,d2spr,d2tmo,d2cri,d2mtr,d2usc,d2vzw)?
A - Yep
Q - Can i flash this on my i9300/i9305?
A - No, sorry. Why are you even in this forum?
Q - The progress spinner looks like it's having a seizure, I'd like to report a bug.
A - We are well aware of that and looking for a fix.
Q - I'm having crazy issues with _____ after flashing the latest nightly. PS: I dirty-flashed.
A - Clean Flash and see if the bugs our still there
Q - It wont flash with TWRP, how do i fix it
A - This is a issue with LiquidSmooth to flash with twrp follow this method:
1. Factory reset
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Flash
Q - Why can't I change the language?
A - Unfortunately, offering different languages in a ROM isn't as simple as checking an option when building from source...it requires someone (bilingual, obviously) to go through the source code and replicate the strings in the respective language. It's a fairly simple process, but it requires community contribution (especially when the dev team is English-speaking). If you'd like to contribute, just pm me and I can help get you started.

Been on this ROM for a week and by far my favorite. Keep up the great work, very smooth!!!!
Voicemail
Does this have the issue of the voice mail icon popping up and not going away? Almost every KitKat Rom I have tried has this issue.
OK so this is two nightlies in a row that I've had issues with the keyboard FC when I try to use the swipe feature. First time I thought it was just because I didn't a nandroid restore of my data. This time I did everything completely fresh and it's still happening. Any ideas?

Yeah that's my bad. Should have looked before asking. Working fine with that keyboard. FYI with the stock keyboard most times I wouldn't get a FC message, the keyboard would just collapse and wouldn't come back up without backing out of the messaging app and going back in. Other times the FC message would show. Not sure what if anything I was doing differently to get the different results but thought it might help you to know when researching.
Also all looks good on the latest build. Great work!
First boot, sans gapps, and after letting it settle I noticed the disappearing/force closing keyboard. I rebooted into recovery and flashed PA modular micro gapps anyway and, I don't know if it's coincidence but, the keyboard is working now. I haven't fully tested everything yet but everything I have checked seems to work. I'll play with it some more tomorrow, but so far so good.
I extracted the build. Prop and changed
ril.subscription.types=NV,RUIM
Removed the RUIM
ro.cdma.subscribe_on_ruim_ready=true
And Removed the above line all togagher
Rezip
In hopes it would not force my phone in to roaming and stick me on the activation screnn
But wont install at all now gives an error.
Any ideas?

Are there any suggestions on doing something to boost the volume? It's really quiet on normal phone calls and when using speaker phone.
I tried Viper4Android, but didn't notice any change.
Looks good

Very nice ROM. The only minor bug I've found is that the "Button actions" settings for the Lock screen (Lock screen => Interface => Button actions) don't seem to work, though the Hardware buttons settings for the Home screen (Navigation => Hardware buttons) seem to function properly. Please advise if I'm doing something incorrectly.
One other feature I would respectfully request is the ability to exclude some apps from the lock screen navigation (per AOSB).
Great job on the ROM. Thanks.
Update: The "Button actions" seem to be limited to the Back and Menu button. If I set a custom action to the Home button (e.g. turning on the flashlight), it (and only it) works on the Lock screen. Also, I tried disabling the Hardware buttons settings and a few other things to see if that was causing a conflict, but it's still not working.
Is there a way to leave my ringtone on vibrate but disable vibration everytime I receive a notification?

when it says that there are no device specific bugs, does that mean the 1080p playback/recording bug is fixed?
EDIT: link doesnt seen to work.

i can confirm that 1080p playback/recording doesn't work on it so you'll have to set it to 720p before you use it. i hear it's just a 4.4 bug.

tried installing it, but it kept asking for the the v4a driver. i got up to modifying build.prop and rebooting it, but it still wants to install the v4a driver anyway, it's such a hassle. i'll just wait for a fix or deal with low volume for now.

It's supposed to ask you to install the driver, you select one of the options and then reboot. That should be it. Was that the way of it or do you get the prompt for a driver even after installation of it?
Actually the whole thing is easier if you flash this zip: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2625056&d=1394549299
After booting, open the app, select the audio driver you want, then reboot again. BTW if you do this get rid of any older versions of Viper you just tried to install.

Reporting Bugs
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

@lilferraro: What's different in this ROM than the one available by nivron apart from being based on latest PG1 Boot-Loader?
There were issues with Camera & fingerprint (not to mention Bluetooth) in previous build of CM13..
Great to know that you would be maintaining weekly builds before Nougat (if by any chance) drops on Note 4.
Bluetooth connects to many of my devices, its just very choppy. Being that I use bluettoth a lot I reverted back to 12.1 until all Kinks have been ironed out. If need be I can help test whatever. Just let me know
Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
welp, i updated to the PG1 boot loader and base band then flashed the latest version of cm13. the phone got extremely laggy and hot. i did a clean install both times. Im currently reflashing the stock PG1 rom then reflashing the cm13 build in hopes that i maybe had a bad flash? I also tried to revert back to the older version of cm13 i made before i flash everything and the phone was glitching out and wouldnt even let me unlock the screen.
Im i the only one having these issues?
It sounds like you downloaded the wrong build. Use August build and you should be OK

I downloaded the latest version that was just posted.. I reflashed everything and at first it was still slow and super laggy. boot was taking 5 minutes. it would just sit at the cyanogen head spinning... So I cleared cache and davlik cache, Now it appears to be running better. fingers crossed that it stays that way. Im pretty much dedicated to cm so the last build i was on was one of nivrons last builds... I'm hoping your build stays stable so i can be on an updated version.
@lilferraroerrara I've tried 2 fresh installs and still my phone is still super laggy. It's also getting supper hot and often freeze and reboots. Sometimes it gets stuck on the boot screen and I have to clear cache to get it to boot. I'm getting less than 4 hours of battery.
Battery stats say miscellaneous is killing the the battery.
Any idea what can cause this?
I really don't want to do to stock TouchWiz but I might have to..
I tried a previous back up and it won't work now either.
Do I need to be on the pg1 bootloader/baseband?
I downloaded the latest September build. Should I not use that one?
