I am so much in need for help
I got this versizon htc m7 and I have been experiment many problems
1- I got it from a friend in the USA and for some reason when I tried to use my country sim card ( in Israel ) I could not get it to work at all, I need really help how to use this phone with sim cards besides sprint, can someone tell how this unlocking is being done all I know its s-on is on and has not been rooted. And I am so lost in following all these threads as I never owned an htc phone as I came from Samsung phones and I really need someone pls to explain what to do exactly and hopefully for a very noob user. I know that its not on the lasted firmware
2- now my biggest problem is somehow it does not charge anymore or at least that's what I think as I tried charging it for days and it does not turn anymore no matters for how long I keep it charged , what might be reason and how can I fix that .
I hope somehow someone can tell me how to check that my phone is not dead and can be reawakened

Hi I would like to get a little help to unlock my

I tried to get an unlock code but it did not work.
I have now a custom rom and my phone is rooted.
I read that for UK people the rom change helped to
get the code accepted.
Should I try more roms or radio update?
Should I put somehow an unbranded ROM?
I think trying to buy more codes are useless
but maybe some compony has the right one...
My IMEI starts with 3578410
I sow on some unlock pages that for these
phone I have to pay more due to being in the newest database.
(htcgate)
I got from htccode the info that in this kind
of situations the provider lock back the phone.
They promise a cable solution from december...
I guess they can do it because there is something
in their rom, that's why I wanted to replace it...
I had no succes so far.

Hello i am having an issue with UNLOCKING my optmius 2x from fido. i just bought it and decided to unlock it, so i went out and found the most well know site i could to buy a code and made SURE everything matched up and it all did and still DOES Now my problem is as follows-
I entered the nck code first the phone quickley rebooted and i threw a new rogers sim into the phone but i got no bars and the phone told me there was not network then switched to no sim.
Then i put a bell sim card into the phone with the same response nothing.. so i went and put the rest of the codes into the phone and they all gave me network unlock request unsuccessful and same with the nck one now as well.. and i do not know if it said that it work the first time as it was just a quick flash
Now i have been geting help from people down in the optmius 2x section of the fourms they told me i should revert to stock 2.2 and i did with the SAME RESULTS! i also tryed an ics rom and i could not even get to the sim screen.
Can any one help me on this problem? i am looking to use my phone and i am not able to at this time
The phone is now rooted and runing ics
let me know how i can fix this

So over 300 people have never seen this before anyone one know of a way to see if the phone is unlocked WITH OUT putting in a diff sim card like a terminal command or somthing? also is there another way of unlocking the phone via softweare?

I just bought a "new" Nexus from a phone unlocking shop. It is new but was started and may have been unlocked (i think). It is from an Irish mobile operator but the OS version is EU so im guessing it was originally sim free. Im not familiar with the Nexus as I own a HTC Sensation which ive rooted and flashed many custom roms on. The problem is when i start the phone with or without a sim im not asked for a sim password nor do i get any message saying there is no sim inserted. I can search for network but cant connect. Says "service not available at this time". I assume that the sim is not seen. I dont want to root and flash a custom as it is a present for a friend.
I dont have time to return to the shop when i bought it as its a present i need to give tomorrow.
Anyone got any ideas how to solve this?

Let me tell the whole strory before i ask any help.
I buy the HTC ONE M8 Sprint phone in ebay. The member who sale, he tell its unlocked and bla bla bla..... Ok, i buy, wait 2month for the phone, because i am in Latvia. I got the phone, i turn on the device, everything great, i do all the stuff, trought WIFI, everything good, device is working and soound working. Then i insert the SIM card, then the trouble begin.
Its showing the device dont regonize the SIM card, and cant use in 4G aka LTE, ok, i switch to the GSM, same s*it..... Ok, i start searching the internet, found website ( i will not post, to i dont advirtise anything ) they send me some unlock code..... But where should i put it ? I dont see such a thing to put the CODE.
I need a member or mod, or some guy who know every step to unlock my phone, maybe the GUY can contact me trought my email - [email protected] tell me everything, i can call to skype and he teach me steb by step, or use some TeamViewer to he can unlock the phone ?
I try to root from this forum, i cant, or i am to dumb, or there is to much smart words in those instcructions?
Please help me to unlock the phone... I try already like 1 month, nothing help.

Hi all, I've been reading tons of threads and I am still having some difficulties with this phone. I am not in the US, I got this phone from a coworker that was going to throw it away and brought it with me to south america to give it to my friends mom who has no money, its and old phone but the one she has is even crappier ,I thought I would be able to just pop the SIM and get it going but nope.
If anyone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it, I have a few more days before I go back home and I would love to be able to leave this working for her.
Let me put you up to speed:
-Phone is running Android 4.3
-Phone was rooted using Odin, has SU and CWM
-Followed thread here to SIm unlock: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2023709 but #4 option is not present on 4.3
-I tried downgrading to 4.1.2 custom root666 to see if I could get #4 but to no avail since you cannot from this 4.3 version
-About to follow this thread :https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48012926&postcount=8
but not sure if correct for what I want to do.
No more ideas, please help!
The phone can only be unlocked used an unlock code. Try contacting T-Mobile for a free unlock code or buy a code from eBay.
i'm with the same problem. i bought an sgh-i747 and after two months it bricked, so i replace the logical card (i don't remember how to say it in English, lol.) and boom!!! now i have a t999 and it doesn't work with movistar. (i'm from Venezuela)
but well, i've been reading posts about unlocking the phone and every one of them only works in JB 4.1.x. i don't know if i could unlock it by the downgrade process and i'm scared of getting the phone bricked again.
