I have the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 SM-T210R. I rooted my device through ODIN but it doesn't look like I have CWM or TWRP installed. How can I install it?
The tab also uses internal memory for all the apps/games I downloaded. I tried Links2SD and App Mgr III but none of them or any other option allowed me to move the app data to my SD card which makes my tab extremely slow.
Which ROM is the best for the tab while allowing the move apps 2 SD?

Can I just root my phone and then install an App2SD app on my phone in order to start using my sd card as the primary storage?
Has anyone done this before?
Is this possible?

Anyone manage to get directory bind to work? I'm rooted and using CM10.1. I successfully binded a directory for Asphalt 7 but everytime I launch the game, it asks me to download the game files and it just goes into the internal sd card.
Anyone?
I tried other apps to move gameloft game data to the external sd like gl2sd but it doesn't work with android 4.2.
I just bought a Galaxy S4 mini and my apps can not be moved to my SD card. Basically, the application manager is missing the 'on the SD card' tab. So I read that there will be a software update for the galaxy s4. It should be an update for the galaxy s4 mini right? I do not want to root it, as I had enough with rooting/roms and stuff like that. The stock software seems to be more stable anyway.

Try to tap on an app in Application Manager, there should be 'Move to SD card' button (in Storage section). Just tap it and the app is moved, however this does not move the app data.
I rooted mine and still cant fully move Alps. Tried titanium backup app2sd. Link2sd. None of them work. I guess its this emulated storage thing?
Is there no easy way to work around it or will it likely be fixed when custom roms start appearing?

A software update from Samsung does not necessarily mean that they will provide the functionality for moving apps to the SD card.
At the moment, only apps which support moving their data onto the SD card will show a "Move to SD" button in the App Info pane of the application.
Even when they show the button it only moves a small portion of it.
I was thinking more of when cm is out for it. I'm guessing this emulated storage thing is not limited to s4 mini and somehow its a case of making mmc the install location over the internal space

Yes it's not limited to the S4 mini. That's why it's a popular feature in custom roms as many stock roms do not allow installation of apps on the external SD.

If you are rooted, you can move the app to SD via standard 'Move to SD Card' button in App section and then use FolderMount (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192122) to "move" the rest of the app data that is not moved by 'Move to SD Card' function. It works for me on my I9195.
Some users also say that GL2SD works for them (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.slf.ListglApp&hl=en) on S4, so it might also work on the mini.
I can move thr apps to the SD card with the app manager tthey work fine until I reboot then they go away. I get a default icon on the screen if you select it it says app not installed. This was this way in stock form and now I'm rooted with stock rom nothing has changed ive used appmgr III the same results.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Sprint 64 gig sd card

Just received the Galaxy Pro S 10.5 and would like to know how to get to use the ExtSD for Storage?
Is there a way to accomplish this and what is necessary to get this done?
I have the 16Gb model and a 32gb bit external Sd card installed which is needed to be used.
Help?
Hi,
you can only use the samsung built in file manager (myfiles) to write on your ext SD.
also your programs will have limited access to SD.
you'll have to root if you're using other file managers.
blame google.

My Galaxy S5, Nexus 7 (2013), and now finally my Samsung Tab S 10.1 have full access to the External SD.
This Tab S was the most difficult to make the External SD, ExtSD, join the group.
First I rooted and installed ThunderRom800 version 2.1 which did allow some access to the ExtSD. But then I needed to get from the Play Store, SDFix and Kitkat External SD to get this to work as I would have expected. With the additional install of App2SD, I was in business.
I do not like to save my stuff to Goggle, so I use TB for backup and App Backup & Restore and save all to the extSD card. App2SD allowed the moving of any file of choice to me sent to the SD card.
If what I want to backup is not allowed to get to the extSD card I would be always unable to download anything.
So I got a Samsung tab s 8.4 to replace my iconia. I use it to run table top games and apps that require 4.4.2 kitkat so I downgraded it and rooted to install link2sd to move the game apps to the 64gb sd. The thing is that it still runs out of storage on games I install. Even if I link all the files and move the obb to the SD it still reflects on the internal storage. I deleted the bloatware but with my games I'm still using up around 6gb about of the 11 available on internal. when I look at the app info on link2sd it shows that 98% of the apps I installed are on the SD but when I go into android settings it tells me I have half the space avaible due to the apps installed. Any help or tips would be welcome
