Help regarding init.d, cpu speed stuck at 787 mhz - Xiaomi Redmi 1S

Hello,
I followed a thread here to enable init.d support. It was successfully enabled. I then installed No Frills CPU Application, changed speed to 1.2 Ghz as max and 300 Mhz as min and made a reboot. Now, the speed is stuck at 787 Mhz . Unable to changed speed using any other CPU speed app. How do i fix this? Can i delete every file inside init.d folder?
Thanks.

Fixed
I uninstalled those cpu speed apps! Now working fine! Thanks.

[Q] my phone keeps freezing .. help?

when ever i o/c my phone to above 1200 Mhz it seems to freeze when on demand or any other profiles
and the same for if i flash a rom with Virtuous OC Daemon
but it i set it to stay at a frequency say min 1500Mhz - max 1500 Mhz it works fine
it started doing this after i flashed an updated miui rom
and it dose it using any o/c app
This was a voltage step (UV) problem, and not all dhds have a problem with it.
Most flashable oc setting have a script to remove the offensive voltage. But as far as i know this has been sorted.
I would try another kernel that suits your phone better.

in this which 1 i have o chosse for fast my gameplay
and if make my max cpu to 806 it lags and contiusoly restarts....if i keep it to 787 its bit lagging .....min cpu frequency i hv kept is 200....which is the best frequency ??????
As governor smartass2 is often prefered.
Some phones do not work with maximum voltage and 804 MHz. You will have to reduce it till your phone is stable.
overclocking MAY damage your device. so be careful.
sorry for this old thread but, i have updated the last cm7 and now i can see more cpu states on setcpu such as 825,844 and 864..i overclocked for using these clocks but cpuspy says that these states are "unused"? Interestingly, setcpu says current state is 864 but not cpuspy? is that a bug?
Nice one, unearthing a thread from february ^^
Even if you select a high frequency, your phone might not be able to handle it.

Reduce Heating in Yureka CM12S

To reduce heating of Yureka and operate it lag free, i tried several things and the best solution which I found out will be sharing here.
If you have a non-rooted yureka you can only do this:
Go to settings->privacy->privacy guard and click on advanced in menu. Locate google play services and disable
1. Wake up
2. Keep awake
3. Autostart
If you have a rooted device then along with above:
Use Sandy's custom kernel 1.3 non cpu quiet and install thunderzap control app and apply these settings
For cluster0 :
Governor- On demand
CPU Max- 1113 Mhz
CPU Min- 400 Mhz
For cluster1 :
Governor- interactive
CPU Max-1113 MHz
CPU Min- 249 Mhz
Also, you can install trickster MOD app and go to Specific menu and enable temperature throttle.
It brought down my CPU temp from 70°C to 50°C. Waiting for the update.
Hit thanks, if this did the job!

can someone help with overclocking script?

i try to make a script that will run in every boot and set my cpu max freq to
2419 mhz and also min cpu speed at 300 Mhz.
though these frequencies are supported by my kernel i can not overclock using any app
can somebody say what should i write in script cause i fail making it right?

[LG D855] CPU Frequency doesn't stick

Why doesn't the max cpu remain constant in kernel audiutor??
I have cm 13 and I have tried flashing the Nebula kernel, used their modded kernel audiutor app and max frequency doesn't stick, after I put it at 2457 MHz and try out a benchmark I would get sh**ty scores and go back to Kernel Audiutor app to find out that my new max frequency was 800 MHz (or another, max frequency was totally random) , why??? I tried flashing the 777 Kernel (maybe the kernel was the issue?) and got the same result! Cpu frequency changes after a while, am I doing something wrong? I have disabled hotplug cpu and the thermal to see if it was the case, didnt work... Any solution?
Settings > Battery > Set mode to performance - you can set this in kernel audiutor i believe (sorry my spelling is crap) but i'm not sure what section it's in.
Still doesn't work
I just tried your suggestion after a little bit of googling and finding this thread. What else could I try? I see my CPU change instantly after applying the changes ..... My phone is really lagging so that's why I need to change this stupid setting.
