[q] tap to unlock feature - Sony Xperia T2 Ultra

There is a way to port "Tap To Wake/Unlock" feature from other Sony Devices for T2 Ultra DUAL?
I already know about "Knockr", but I don't feel confortable with it cause it keeps the screen on forever to work.
Can someone port this feature?

That's requires a custom kernel, but there is no custom kernel for the latest firmware...

[Q] Where i can take different lock screen themes?

So, question is in the title. I want to change lock screen on my Lt18i.
I have a unlocked bootloader, root and custom kernel by DoomLord.
https://market.android.com/search?q=lock+screen&so=1&c=apps
Try and look here
Okay, thanks =) But it is an apps(so they have lags etc.). I search for system files for replacement.
even system file need time to load (lags).
I cant remember right now, but you can use ICS launcher, or flash custom rom such as cyanogenMOD or other one
Custom roms are not ready for now Yeah, I will flash on it, but now is some bugs like
"Doesn't work: xLoud, hdmi, fm, hotspot", I need all these features =)
This ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1278758 has a custom lock screen, so it is in internet, but where?
you need to flash whole custom ROM on your phone
I have flashed SE.TWEAKED v0.5 already. Just want another lockscreen =) Oh, thank for you support =)
no problem, any time

ICS and GB roms have different kernels so before you try to use install the rom from CWM make sure you have installed the correct kernel. I'm not too sure what options are available anymore for locked bootloaders because most roms now incorporate tweaks that aren't supported by them. I would just take a look around the dev section for ROM, if they don't specify they need a unlocked bootloader then drop the dev a mail asking.
Thank you
It honestly looks like every single rom I have come across requires unlocked boot loader. That why I thought I would if some one has seen something specific
Basically I want a leaner and smoother rom then the current Sony one

Best one I found was the t.e.a.m stock from for 2011 xperia devices. Also installed the xperia big pack theme from the theme section. Looks and performs great man. I am also on a locked boot loader for now but am very happy with the look and feel of this

[Q] Best-ish Sony Stock ICS

Hi,
I`m planing to downgrade to an official Sony Stock ICS ROM (& and strip the bloatware) to get all the features working (HDMI). I was planing to pair the stock sony ICS with a kernel like Lupus. Before doing this however I wanted to ask if anyone has a recomendation on which Stock ICS version to get because I remember reading that one of those was a major flaw.
Additionally I'd like to know if anyone has/did run stock ICS+custom kernel and could share his experience with speed/smoothness and such, because I remember running the LT18i_4.1.B.0.587 firmware before rooting my device some years ago and the whole system was so laggy ... which lead me to try custom ROMs first and evetually unlock the bootloeader and go for custom Kernels later.
Any other recomendations are welcome.

I believe the newest is the best you can get, which is 4.1.B.0.587. You can also try 4.1.B.1.13, but it is a branded firmware and may have some additional bloatware installed in it.
Thanks. I remember 4.1.B.0.587 was really laggy when running on stock "everything". I'll try it and see if I can get it running smoothly with a custom kernel...

Even with a custom kernel, stock 4.1.B.0.587 will still lag a lot because of all the bloatware Sony added inside.

First of all is difficult to port grand 2's stock room for i9082. It's difficult not impossible.... Don't know if any developer working on it or not....... Grand i9082 has many dual sum supported custom roms..... Like cm 11,cosmic cm etc. Etc. They are much better than the stock rom..... Even better than tw kitkat rom..... So use any of them...
Hit thanks if it helps you......
but does those rom work

But does the dual sim function works on those rom.. cuz most of them i've seen doesnt work.. there is extra code to be run eg. su:.... which they say isnt fullproof. and the reason i say grand 2 is cuz its a stock rom and has dual sim functionality inbuilt which many rom developers cant create since its proprietery

The extra commands to edit build.prop were required in older versions of cyanogenmod as the developer wanted to make sure it works without any problems. After testing and feedback he enabled it by default in the new version as it works well. So in the newest versions you don't need to do anything after installing the rom to make dual sim work.
Thanks a lot

I have used only Unofficial Cyanogenmod 11 by pawitp:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2563557
It doesn't provide ota but you can download rom deltas for updating without downloading the whole rom (read the first post in the link).

If your device is rooted, try a custom kernel which has touch sensitivity boost option. Actually the problem you are facing is very un usual, try
custom rom
Or
Custom kernel
Or
Take it to service center.

go to the device model specific forum and check their, you should find some custom kernels/roms. choose one and be sure that is Sammy based, not AOSP, CM etc.
