Scratches around phone? - Verizon Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone with a case experiencing it scratching the shiny metal band around the phone? My UAG case has really scratched the crap out the bottom side on the metal band. Samsung should have used the metal from the sides instead of the shiny aluminum.

Nope no issues with cases scratching and what are you talking about the aluminum from the side is the same as the bottom. It's one piece that wraps around the phone.

Nope..I have a spigen tough armor on mines and its just fine no scratches ..I would probably just get another case thats not good at all ..

I feel like it would be better to show you than try to explain it.

Case buyers be WARNED
There's a thread like that in the At&t forum as well. Seems like another Samsung oversight

Momax i Case Pro

Finally found a case I like, the Momax i Case Pro.
Price was around $11 USD shipped.
Reason I like this case is thick enough for basic protection and thin enough not to add any bulk.
I been looking at some of the slim case, most of them doesnt add protection to the screen side of the phone.
I think this is a great case for people who wants a slimr cases but wants protection to the edge on screen side of the phone.
The edge is made out of soft rubber materials and thin hard plastic.
As you can see the edge that stick out on the screen side is very thin.
Just enough to cover the metal-like that goes around the SGS2 screen.
Rubber button are easy to press.
Back is thick enough for camera screen not to touch a flat surface.

From the photos it appears this picks up dust/lint easily?
Can you say?

I am torn between Nilkin and the Samsung flip case

I like the idea of the flip case but the Nillkin TPU case I think will provide more protection other than a screen. I find the phone to be slippery without a case and therefore with the flip case I think it will pretty much will be the same (maybe not). Can you give me some pros and cons of each?
I have the flip case.
Pros: Looks good, no bulk
Cons: No protection from the sides or back, nothing holds the cover to protect the screen if dropped. Finally, the glue on the sides starts to wear out, the skin becomes lose with use. I posted a pick of it earlier

Thanks, I ordered the Nillking case. It's cheap enough that I can always get something else if I don't like it. Thanks again.
Do this...You can have both

Yes,take both, and use either depending on where you are.
thanks .

Case*Mate, Barely There Brushed Aluminum Case Mini-Review

Case*Mate, Barely There Brushed Aluminum Case
Got this today locally and only grabbed it cause I was able to get it way below its retail. After putting it on the phone, I really like it. I loved my Incipio feather lite and this is actually better imo. The edges actually snap over the phone and the bottom and top are actually covered a tad more than the feather lite did on my gs2 (this could be from the different style of phone though).
The aluminum on the back feels pretty nice and the paint is actually nice on the rest as it isn't slippery like I thought it would be. Sweaty hands my make it slippery though.
You can get these at at the case mate website for $40, or at the AT&T store for $40 as well.
I don't think this will protect the phone to well in a massive drop, but it will obviously protect it from scuffs and help keep the battery cover like new (cause we like $40 cases that protect $20 battery covers ).
Mainly I got this cause I don't like bulk and at more than half price, I couldn't pass it up. XD
On to the pics -

Yeah, it looks nice. I also had considered buying this but because of its price, i decided to go with the Rock Case haha.

Pictured: Elago Breathe Case - Indigo Jean on Pebble Blue

idelgado782 posted a nice photo shoot of the Elago Breathe case (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774853), but since there was much discussion (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1795198) about what color cases match well with "Pebble Blue," I thought I'd post some pics of my Jean Indigo case on my Pebble Blue phone. Color names are getting so creative lately.
Here's a link to the case. $9.99 on Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/elago-Breathe-Verizon-T-Mobile-Carriers/dp/B008DO84M6
The case feels very nice, and although it isn't rubbery it isn't gonna slip out of your hand. Those perforated hole things are very grippy.
The whole thing attracts lint like a magnet. I brushed it off the best I could for the pics, and it is still noticeable. No biggie, but...
And, as a side note, that last pic was the result of a fumble 2 feet above my bathroom floor, about 3 hours before my case came in the mail. Gorilla Glass is NOT indestructible.

No, the color isn't for perfectionists (I have CDO: It's like OCD, but in alphabetical order, like it should be. ), but it's not that bad.
That sucks about your phone. What are you going to do?

Probably leave it and get a Steinhal Curved Crystal screen protector to go over it.

[VIDEO] Casebase+Cotechs® - pics&video inside

So here I have two pretty cheap accessories products for OnePlus One
Casebase Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector TWIN PACK
I would say its a great value product as you get two for £9.99. I have an experience with Nillking product where I found this is more fingerprint resistive. Its crystal clear, no picture distortion, no sharp edges. Pretty happy with it

Cotechs® - Gel Case Skin TPU
This is really cheap but good quality gel skin. All the cut outs are in right place and align. Its really tight so it fits and hold really good. You can choose from different colour variations. For this money you can't get wrong
Good set up. So far I'm waiting on a screen protector. I thought I would be fine without a case but something like this case would be good.
Too bad they don't ship that case to the US...
