I am using sandisk ultra class 10 from last 3 years.
Earlier used in Galaxy Note & now with Redmi.
Working fine. Not problem as such.
Just FYI: don't go by read wrote benchmark that company show, because really scenario is much different from their test condition. It depends on hardware, software etc.

I have samsung evo 16gb class 10 card. it works perfectly. Don't know about 32gb version. As far as uhs is concerned our device won't be able to take advantage of it(that means speed). I have been using for 2 months no problem at all. Even sandisk uhs enabled card works on our device. but i am happy with samsung. please do format your card with fat 32 format and then format within your phone and then use the card. hope this helps

Go for it ... I'm using 32 GB evo ... work great without any problem .

32 gb sandisk

hi, i hope this is right place to put this and also to let you know i did do a search of the forum and couldn't find an answer...
i just bought a 32 gb sandisk micro sd card and inserted it into my galaxy s, i have tried to add thing to this via my pc and also via astro on my phone, each time it seems to get a little of the way and then the external sd card unmounts its self (at least i think thats whats happning ) and then i get an error on my pc saying the read/right disc was unreadeable, then my pc says that the external memory needs formatting before i can continue use, if i then go back into my phone i notice te external memory is no longer mounted, this is driving me mad, if anyone can help please do before i throw my phone out the window lol....i am using a rooted galaxy s with 8gb onboard memory
It sounds like you have a bad card. I would return it for a new one.
Let me guess, eGay. . . . .
I have 2 fakes sitting right here. . . . This is a huge scam.
Buy memory from reliable sources only.
my 16Gb card is a 1Gb in reality.
Hmmm...did you make sure that the USB mode is set to debug and then the dial up mode is off. This same thing happened to me last night. Make sure that's done. Restart the phone and THEN plug the cable in. I'm guessing it keeps flipping out and there's a red pyramid in the upper left hand corner?
Bad Memory
I believe you got a "fake" memory. I have experience of this before. A lot of programmer will be able to re-program the card from 2G to 32G or whatever the capacity they want. just google it, there is a free program will be able test it and tell you the real capacity your card has it. if the price is incrediblely low, there will be a problem. if you got it from ebay, just dispute it and get your money back.
Look for the program h2testw, it will tell you actual capacity of your card, likely 64-512mb only.
Yes, scams. You should only buy to respective shops. Sadly some of my friends bought things like 10pcs. Too bad they got scammed. I learned my lesson and it is just somehow like 3-5$ difference.
I'd say stick to Newegg and Amazon for memory purchases.
Which is the best company for 32 gig class 10's
I've bought 8GB and 16GB cards from those Chinese deal sites. They worked out alright. They weren't too experience. But I agree, if you want a 32 GB card, go buy a reliable brand from a credit-worthy source.

I've had great luck with mine, and it flies.. now it's $83.99 after mail in rebate with free shipping..
Newegg had the 8 gb transcend for 15... that thing is so fast 15 MB/s read and write. Was using a sandisk was awful.

I'd say Sandisk is the best quality memory card you can buy. Class 2 and 4 Sandisk work great for WP7 or for running Android off of on a HD2. Class 2 and 4 cards generally have a better random access speed than class 6 or 10 cards. You only want higher class cards for digital cameras where you are writing a lot of file sequentially. For running operating systems where itneedsto read small amounts of data from many parts of the card quickly, a quality class 2 or 4 card works best.

You should test the card with CrystalDiskMark and HD Tach to get the random read and write speeds and random access time. I'm curious as to how the class 10 Lexar rates in those speeds.

What MicroSD Classes Work with the Desire...?

My question was concerning my 16gb Class 6 card (which actually appeared to be corrupt/broke'd anyway)
I asked about compatibly with the Desire...

In regards to SD Cards
I can help you with that.
The card that you are trying to use is not compatible with the phone as the class is too high speed for the device to be able to keep up with the speed. I have included a link to a webpage with the sd cards that are compatible with that device.
http://www.expansys.com/a.aspx?i=196001
If you look under the accessory tab then down the bottom is compatible memory.
I trust that this resolves your query, please do not hesitate to contact us again if required.

I'm sure I read some threads about class 10's working fine in the Desire?
The link seems to suggest only a class 2 or a class 4 will work...
I'm using a class 4 without problems so far.
On a dutch board I read a guy was using a class 6 on Starbust so it should be possible I think.
I've just bought a 16gb class 4 Sandisk and the speed tests show it as being quite a bit faster than my class 4 (non Sandisk) 8gb card!
I'm using class 4, working fine
I'm using a 8GB class 6 card with Custom ROM and A2SD with no problem. Been over 6 months now.
A lot of class 10 cards have issues, class 6 seems to be the most reliable thus far. Some people have had good experiences with A-DATA 16gb class 10.
So from user experience - a good Class 6/10 card should work just fine?

For C6 yes.
For C10 Mostly yes... but usually class 10 is not really faster... so save the money.
Just my two cents.
I'm using Transcend 8GB class 6 without any problem. Try to format by gparted or similiar. Are you using it for any other purpose than storing photos, music or etc? For example for data2sd or apps2sd?

I bought a 16gb class 6 to use with data2sd but struggled as the card was broken - so i've sent it back and just have the 8gb class 2 that i got with my phone now - and on stock rom again, so it is just photos and music and froyo app2sd at the moment
basically all branded cards will work fine, the thing you shoud be concerned more onthe capacity you are gonna use. It aint worth buying a 16GB sd when u cant fill even half of it with useful stuff
If speed is your thing then get a class 4 or 6 but I had SD mounted as read only with a class 4 8 gig Kingston SD, so I swooped with a buddy of mine for a class 2 SD from a Nokia n95, no problems since then.

32GB Samsung C10 is around $20ish and well worth it. Ive been using the same one for years and thats why I love phones w/ card slots. Switching devices isnt a nightmare when everythings saved to your card.
What's wrong with a 32 GB class 4?i noticed no different switching from a 8 GB class 10 to a 4.

Nothing is wrong with a 32gb class 4, but do you really want to bottle neck your 600-700$ s4 to 1mbps write speeds when it can record around 17mbps? It'll only cost around 20 something bucks for class 10, by no means a priority in anyone's life but in the case of this Particular user looking to purchase, if he has the spare cash I advise him to a class 10 32gb.

I also recommend 32GB class 10.
You will need it also for shooting full hd videos.
I too have a Sandisk Ultra 32 GB class 10 I got on sale for $30 ($50 off MSRP) at a local office supply store last minute before a vacation. Since I bought it, I have seen it cheaper online, but I didn't really have time to wait. I had just upgraded from an 8 GB class 4 that I have been using for about 3 phones now. The new card also came with another SD adapter so I can put the card into the reader on my laptop. I already had one adapter from my old card, but having two is nice when transferring files between two cards.
I have a little boy so I am always taking pictures and videos of stuff he is doing or funny faces he makes, and I can tell you first hand that moving pictures and videos around into different folders in the gallery is WAY faster now. I also have a photo frame widget on my home screen that cycles through some pictures, and on reboot, the photos populate the frame sometimes before the stock clock widget even comes up. I can only imagine if apps are running from the SD card that would be massively improved too.
I've been using the Samsung Ultra 64gb card since day 1 & it's been working flawlessly.

I use a 64GB Samsung Pro(no such thing as Ultra^). Don't beelieve the advertised speed of 70/30, I get R/W: ~18.26MB/13.17MB. The SanDisk 64GB and 32GB models had production problems with a some bad batches, so it's up to you if you want to risk getting old stock from a store that might be bad. Other than that, just remember to get Class 10 UHS-1. Apparently AOSP doesn't support ExFat so you'll have to format it to Fat32 if you want to use that.
One reason to use 32GB would be for the supposedly higher speeds available such as the SanDisk Extreme variant which is twice as expensive. Don't believe the advertised 80/50 either.
There is a 64 GB Ultra: http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Micro...&qid=1374727504&sr=8-1&keywords=sandisk+64+gb

SanDisk* not Samsung like he posted. That Ultra is also slower than the Samsung Pro. The SanDisk Extreme might be a tad faster but don't believe the 80/50 claims.
Is you must get the 64gb I recommend class 10. Fastest write/read speed. If not, you can buy maybe a class 6. Hope I helped.

The complaints youve seen are not of genuine Sandisk products. Ive been using Sandisk cards for over 10 years now and not once have I ever encountered a problem. In the extreme event that the card may fail I feel Sandisk service and warranty are second to none..
GT N7105 with XDA Premium......that is all......
I had a genuine 64gb SanDisk. It failed after 4 months. Their service was good, they replaced it, but I cannot trust it in my phone anymore.
Got a 64gb Samsung instead. It comes with a10 year warranty.

No there are many fake cheaper memory cards out there which tell you storage of 32gb but are actually 8gb or less and they tell brand is kingston or scandisk but its not

Ive have only ever used Sandisk from my first droid phone till now in every configuration and have never had one fail. I always buy them from the local Frys because its convenient.
i also have a sandisk 64 gb class 10 works very well although sometimes it transfer files slowly.
purchase any.. any brand card can die on note2. just try your luck and before purchasing do check your device goes into deep sleep and remove unwanted wakelocks. some unwanted wakelocks have killed (well it may be in just my case) 3 64 gb sandisk card but last one is working so far after i removed the wakeloks.

Any benefit using Fastest External Memori Card

Hi, I'm considering buying much faster External Memory card for my Galaxy Wonder.. ( UHS-1 class 10 / extreme / super fast /etc )
but are they any noticeable increase in speed ( read music, photo, video, etc ) if I use that..??
are my Galaxy W even had capability to read such as speed that UHS-1 can offer..?? or it just a wast of money..??

I´m actually using a noname UHS-1 class 10 SDCard. It´s slightly faster than my Samsung class 10 SDCard, but this isn´t because of UHS-1 as this device doesn´t support it. It´s for sure a bit faster because it´s using faster NAND chips that are required for UHS-1.
So all in all it´s not recommended to replace an existing class 10 against a UHS-1 Card, but if you are planning to buy a new one and it costs the same, you can get a UHS-1 card as well.

so I assume it would be wast of money to buy A faster, even most faster SD Card, since this device doesn't support it..
May I know, what apps that you use to measure / benchmark the read write speed of SD Card..??

I benched them with Antutu Benchmark and there the noname was slightly faster. Just you will not notice this small difference in daily use.
So if you are already using a class 10 SDCard then it will be a waste of money, but for someone who is using a class 4 or class 6 it´s a good replacement.
