Not necessarily. Any app would work.

OK thanks man.. using Faux Kernel app and Faux Sound App.. working flawlessly.. Also STW or T2W working superb.

Hi @alnikki25k .. can u make S2W a little more sensitive.. sometimes it takes 2-3 attamps to wake up the device

I'm using your kernel with omni rom and it's perfectly smooth with good battery life. I got 6 hours screen on time yesterday. Fauxsound also makes a big difference in output volume. Sound quality in calls is also a lot better than stock with stock rom or stock omni kernel, audio is very clear.

have you implemented the official build kernel sources or the FXP team kernel sources? cause the FXP kernel are more battery friendly

I am not sure if it is supposed to be normal or not, but I am having following problems with the Kernel.
1. Simple_onDemand as a GPU governor, makes my phone freeze and than causes a reboot.
2. Have no idea if it is supposed to be this way but there is no IntelliPlug or MPDecision - all I get is UserSpace. Is this normal?
3. I have no idea how to enable S2W or T2W using Faux, Tricketer - I could have looked into enabling it via init.d but admittedly I didn't try.

1. Not Sure I'm using Intellidemand without Anu problem.
2. Yes only Userspace
3. No app can activate u ll have to to buy App suggested by OP for that or Pimp my Z1 but that's outdated or use Terminal Emulator and Give these command on every Boot

I noticed bugs, restarting the phone to me is dated in 1970 and it marks until 01: 00, even if I remove this option now and restarting automatic changes back, the second being the most important one I put the phone on charge and even if the battery icon is undercharge and turns on the red LED charging the phone I remained at 36%, so do not know if the phone actually post office but the percentage of power do not update or no charge at all.

This kernel is for stock 6.0 rom ONLY, and this is the only kernel avalible right now for stock 6.0 too, what other custom kernels are you talking about?

Actually this kernel is for stock moto ROM. If you are using any custom ROM like CM or others you cannot flash this. Instead you can flash EXTENDED kernel meant for cm/aosp ROMs. That is also provided by Attack 11...

Hi Maybe your device touchscreen doesnt support it,Check with terminal emultator the following lines:

Hi I recomend you to backup system and boot.img partitions with TWRP ,Since the installation of this kernel changes boot.img and system files , and give a try keep in mind that this is a BETA release, I will try to make a flashable .zip to uninstall this kernel and install stock kernel and modules just in case you wanna go back :good:

Yes! another kernel dev for these variants! Not everyone can do what you people do so I thank you for your time and effort! So far a good kernel many governors to choose from and got extra performance using this kernel. Unfortunately I too am experiencing the bug same as with @knnthgngb. The torch turns on and when you try to turn it off it will only dim the torch. I found a few workarounds one is by opening the camera app the torch then should turn off. Another way is to restart the phone. Powering down the phone will not turn the torch off (haven't stuck long enough to see if it will). Thank you again and hope this info helps .

You can revert the stock kernel through a backup in twrp. Yun po yung ginawa ko ok na po sya. :good:

I forgot to backup my kernel first so I search for a solution and I found this link, https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71071663&postcount=49
Flash this via TWRP without wiping data then it will restore stock kernel. After you flash this, you will be fully unrooted but still your TWRP will not be disappear.. ?

I got bootloop too on my j710fn but i try to remove battery and boot again and it turned on successful. Have you try to remove battery and see what happens?

This Kernel working on LineAge And Maybe AOSP Base Roms...
Dont Flash it on Miui

i dont get it, why are u forcing to make kernels on custom roms? Basicly u are removing everything that xiaomi is known as.
We need a kernel that is working fine with MIUI.

Fork my github repo and add MIUI kernel support
Sorry, I'm not using MIUI = I won't support it
I'm doing this kernel for myself as a learning experience, it's my free will to share the work...

LOS Ext it is. You can try others like XenonHD, AEX, great devs doing them
